  1. Convert Adobe Portfolio Documents and store as Clipped PDF

    Adobe Portfolio documents are a group of PDF's Clipped together in a PDF. I believe that this format has been a standard since Adobe 9 around 2008. A portfolio document looks like a stardard PDF and clients do not understand why DocuWare is not Compliant with the Portfolio Standard for PDF. I would suggest that because this is VERY simular to DocuWares Clipping that DocuWare EXPORT all of the files in a portfolio document and clip them together as one Document making it easier for the client to work with

  2. Please make the new Outlook Add-in available for on-premise customers. Currently, this new add-in is only available for cloud customers.

We have clients who use Macs who would benefit from storing emails to DW using this add-in, since Connect to Outlook & DocuWare Desktop are not available for Macs.

  4. List of value with users and filters group

    Allow a list to be used in store / search dialog box with some filters like :
    - A list who shows users froma group for example
    - a list of users with a specific right

    This list should be the users list plus a filter on group for example.

  5. OCR mode / switch for selected document from webbasket

    Sometimes on the PDF file is an OCR layer (not only image).
    If OCR/text layer exist on PDF document, then Docuware uses this layer instead of direct OCR from an image.

    It would be useful for the end user to be able to change option that for some particular document Docuware will force use OCR from image instead of OCR/text layer from PDF.

  6. Add a property to a storage dialog box to only store data and not documents

    This will avoid the error of storage of an invoice in a list of suppliers for example whan the user wants to create a new supplier

    By default, the 'Store Dialog' corresponding to the intelligent indexing of the 'Document Tray' should always be the first in the drop-down list that appears when the 'Store' button is clicked.
    This is to prevent the user who has several 'Document Tray' from having to search or even paginate when there are many.

  9. Case sensitivity in select lists

    Select lists allow me control exactly what I want my users to input into fields when storing but there is no case sensitivity unless I add a field mask. If I check the box to force the user to only pull from a select list then the formatting should follow. Right now some one could enter ATL, atl, Atl, atL...ect.

  10. deleted archived document outlook connect

    delete a single attachment after it has been stored individually from an email in outlook connect.
    at the moment it only allows us to delete all the documents instead of a single one.

  11. Allow storer to select "store document in black and white" when scanned in color

    Documents stored in color are much larger than those in black and white. Allow user to require documents to be stored only in b/w, even if this causes a color document to be converted to b/w pdf prior to storing. Should be able to be over-ridden by authorized users.

  12. Processing Profiles - Split into Multiple Documents - Each with own set of indexing values and read out areas

    Transferring from other DMS's - Users normally scanned a pack of documents as a single pdf, it would be useful if we can put this through a processing profile to 'Identify','split',Index each document

    In example Employee onboarding pack
    (may contain a ID document, Bank Account confirmation letter, Employment contract, etc.)

    You would create sub profiles (or main profiles, then link to this profile) for each expected document, those not identified will have default indexes using the original input files' indexes, those that are defined is split / indexed and stored as per the sub profile.

  13. I suggest that you change the behavior of date fields when stocking a document.

    I suggest that you change the behavior of date fields when storing a document.
    On the current behavior, on starting filling "DD", it automatically fills "MM/YYYY" with the current month and year. Awesome, don't change that.
    But if by mistake we fill "15/11/201" (instead of "15/11/2021"), we change the line, then come back on the date field, delete all the value and start filling with "15", it automatically completes with the previous wrong information "11/201" instead of the initial behavior (current month and year).

  14. Remove Highlight Selections if Store Operation is Cancelled

    Hello Everyone and please vote for this enhancement!

    It would be a great enhancement to operations if the highlighted set was NOT still highlighted in the document tray if the Store operation is cancelled. An important client just lost a couple hundred documents due to the fact that after cancelling the Store operation the highlighted group was still highlighted when they attempted to delete a single document. I can't picture a scenario where keeping the highlighted set is a benefit, but can see (and have seen) how keeping the highlight can cause trouble.

  15. add gl assignments to recurring invoices

    I have multiple invoices that we pay each month (some having multiple GL assignments). Each month I have to re-enter the GL assignments and $ amounts. There should be a "memorized" function for these types of recurring invoices so I do not have to enter each month.

  16. I would like to suggest strongly that you add an option in the docuware desktop app...

    I highly suggest you add a check box in the settings in the docuware apps setting under "import" that allows a sub folder to get deleted as well after it sends up the files to store. Currently, If you set up files to automatically go to docuware that are dropped in a watch folder, using a subfolder that gets dragged in... all files within the sub folder gets automatically deleted after the files get sent. That is perfect.. however... the sub folder that the files were sent from remains in the watch folder and stays there. I cant have hundreds…

  17. Index field behaviour when storing a document

    Hi,

    It would be awesome if we could use the same "field behaviour" as we do when configuring forms/merge forms. For example when storing a document I would like to set field behaviour to disappear or enter predefined entry to another field.

  18. Zoom while storing documents

    While storing a document when using document processing, or intelligent indexing, have the viewer zoom into the area where the data is being extracted for an easier visual validation of the data on the page compared to what has been extracted. This would be particularly useful when validating long strings of numbers such as automobile VIN numbers.

  19. Group related storage dialogs

    When you click on "store" the user is provided a list of dialogs they have access to. I would like to suggest the ability to group dialogs. For example, maybe there are 5 dialogs for Customer Documents and 8 for Vendor Documents. When you click on "store" you would at the top of the list see "category" Customer, Vendor. When hover over Customer or Vendor, another level opens with just dialogs relevant to the particular category.

  20. Add a Store from desktop/folder integration like the Store from Outlook

    Please add the ability to right click a document on the desktop or in a folder and store it in DocuWare just like the Outlook integration where I can right click on an email, select the store dialog I want to use, and send the item directly to DocuWare with the proper indexing without having to drag it to the tray first. Just like Outlook, I'd like to be able to select if the item will be copied or moved when setting up the store dialog.
