Enable to use the default select list values when using a Japanese Keyboard.
*Entering numbers for example “1234” as the whole width version(全角) into numeric or decimal fields and hitting the spacebar would enter into the field as “12341234...”. Try entering a number by letting that number selection menu open, and press space bar and arrow keys. Using numpad, numpad area on the regular keyboard or numbers on the top of the keyboard all same behavior.
Using numbers on the top row on the keyboard:
1 Enter 1234 as the whole width version(全角)
2 hit space bar: empty

Make an addition with one click indexing
When you are filling up a table with amounts using the One Click Indexing, for example.
Would'nt be great to be able to do additions ?
For example I have an invoice with 10 rows and I want to use the 3 first rows to create an unique row in my table field. When using the one click indexing with the ctrl+click, i'm able to concatenate each of my click in one unique field.
When this field would be a floating type, it would be great if the same ctrl+click was additing up each floats instead of concatenate them, so…3 votes -

freeze columns in table field
I have a table field that has a column for every day of the month that keeps track of therapists sessions with clients. A workflow assigns them a task and at the end of each session they put the time in for that client for that day. The issue is that by the middle of the month they have to scroll over and the client name is off the page. It would be nice if they could keep the column on the far left and still scroll over to the columns on the right like a spreadsheet.

Autocomplete like all other document management sytems when indexing
I'm sure this has been suggested but I can't seem to find it. When you drop a file into a tray and select a store dialog, I would expect to be able to link a database connection to a field you enter to perform a database lookup and populate all the other fields like KOFAX, FORTIS, FILEBOUND, CAPTERRA, ONBASE and probably a lot more that I haven't used. My understanding is Docuware lets you enter the first value and save it. Somehow a auto index sees it on save and will do the database lookup and populate the fields. Not…

Allow processing import configurations via an autoindex workflow
Sometimes when mass importing you find an import template needed to allow for changes in labeling or location of data. It may be that an entirely new template needs to be created.
It would be amazing if you were able to send documents that already exist in DocuWare into a processing queue that would run another recognition on the document(s). By applying a filter you would limit it to only run on documents that you want to process.

Have an Import Configuration that can identify multiple document types
Currently you can create a printer configuration for different document types and when you print a document it will try and identify with one of the printer configurations. I suggest doing the same thing with the import configurations, or be able to create an import configuration that can then allow for multiple document type to be identified.
Ex. I create an Import Configuration for bank statements. When it comes to the Identify tab you are then able to create multiple document types with separate importable documents to create templates from. So when you imported bank statements from different backs it…

Allow an option to turn off edit multiple index entries
Many of our clients want to restrict users' ability to specifically edit multiple index entries, while still allowing them to edit a single index entry. The reason being is that they don't want them to select multiple documents and accidentally either delete a field or change it to something incorrect. It's fine if they had the ability to edit index entries for a single document, but currently you either have the option to edit index entries or you don't. Copy the value of a field, from result list or index info dialog
An index value stored first in DW, need to set in a third party application. When the value is a long reference, the best to prevent typing error is to copy the value from DW to third party.
it can be available from Search result , copying the text, (in version 6.1 it was possible, no more in newer version) or from display info index particularlywhen index modification is not allowed by administrator on the field (tested and not possible from version 6.7 and above )

Document Names stop use of AutoFill indexing
For some compliance reasons, the file name of the document being stored must be included as an index.
In 6.5 and 6.6, when you attemp to use Autofill Indexing with this file name as an index, Autofill will no longer work as it will not match the origional document's file name.
There needs to be a method where any index can be disabled for filtering to allow AutoFill to work on multiple documents.

Index image file properties
It would be great to be able to index the file properties of image (or all) files. This will allow our clients to store image files with properties coming from the camera or publishing apps and be able to search them through the Full Text search.

More detailed error message when entering a table field
When entering multiple rows of a table field each row can be linked to an index list.
If a single line is in error the error message does not tell us which line specifically poses a problem.
With intelligent indexing when completing tables of reconciliation to the row for example there may be an error on a table of 30 rows and it is necessary to browse the table manually to find the error.2 votes -

Fix Index entries in Info Dialog to trigger workflow after manual index change
If a user changes index information via the result list, they could potentially change any field available there. However, trying to trigger a workflow based on that index change might be difficult if there are many fields.
It would be great if we could use the "custom entry" and "read only" option in the info dialog to fill a Status field with a fixed value if a user changes index information via the info dialog. That way we can then trigger the workflow based on the status change

add comments to versions
Add the ability to add comments to versions with automatic versioning. Currently, the system automatically adds a comment "Automatic Version Management". We often send documents to clients and would like to have the ability to change the comment to "sent to client on *** day" or something similar

autofill single value
Docuware 7.6 preview..
I simply can't understand why you haven't made the autofill single value function in the store dialogs.. because this is the main input source to get documents inside Docuware.. (Currently in 7.6 is only on forms). Please make this feature available in 7.6 final release.. i have many customers who are waiting for this feature where they are using filtered lists..2 votes
