  1. allow Users to set their own default values for fields

    We currently have the ability to set default values for fields in the store dialogs. These defaults are tied to the store dialog itself though so if you wanted to set up different defaults for different users you'd have to create separate store dialogs. It would be great if Users could set their own defaults.

    One way that could work is to add a "Set Defaults" menu item to the context menu for the store dialog (see attached screenshot). To use it the user would fill out the store dialog with their desired defaults in some (or all) of the…

  2. same filecabinet dialog

    I want the ability to share dialog configuration in Search, Store, Result view (index dialog).

    For example, whenever I assign a select list to a field, I have to configure in every single dialog. Same when configuring other kind of restrictions and field ordering.

    Current way of configuring allows administrator to commit mistakes when creating or updating dialogs configurations when they want to have them all alike.

  3. Clip Documents Directly in Results

    Hello, I would love to be able to clip documents directly in the results list. Currently, we must check documents to our tray, clip them together, than store them again. This of course leaves the individual pages behind, which we must manually delete or mark for deletion. It would be enormously helpful to be able to clip them together within the results list. Just shift or ctrl select the documents, right-click, and clip. I can't describe how much time this would save our company. Thank you very much for your consideration.

  4. Restore the ability to Attach, Delete, or Skip when pre-indexing

    Previous versions of DocuWare (Windows Client) allowed the user to essentially staple pages to a document when in the Storage Mask. The user would select a group of documents from a Basket and drag them to a store dialog, and click the pre-indexing check box. When clicked, this would enable three new buttons, Attach, Delete and Skip. This allowed the user to construct documents by attaching, deleting or skipping pages while indexing, without having to go back to a basket or tray.   5. Please let "Keep entries” option to be checked by default. It will shorten 1 step for companies who only use that function in their imports.

    Unfortunately, this functionality is not implemented. It’s not posible to set “keep entries” option checked by default.
    I would suggest you develop this function in the upcoming version / patch.

  6. Allow for reset of pre-indexed fields in Document Tray

    When using the autofill indexing to store multiple documents in the document tray to a file cabinet, using the "Reset" button does not clear all fields in the store dialog. Understanding that this may be by design, there should be an option to reset all fields or just the fields that don't apply to the pre-filled index fields.

  7. Add Instructions to Store Dialogs

    I have customers with multiple store dialogs that get confused on what each dialog does. It would be good to have a box at the top of the store dialog that says what the dialog does and maybe what workflow it would kick off.

  8. Microsoft Office plugin

    When saving a document created in MS Office, we can directly save to a Docuware Tray/Cabinet. Users who are restricted to save locally would benefit from this feature.

  9. Allow clipping files already in storage

    Presently documents that are in the inbox/tray can be only be clipped to a document in storage, or else another document in the inbox/tray. Not sure why that is. I had the idea that one person could be responsible for inputting and indexing AP invoices, and another for inputting and indexing checks. A third person would be responsible for clipping the checks to the invoice, verifying the check(s) match the invoice, then stamping it as Paid. But once a document is in storage it cannot be clipped to another document in storage. This is fairly limiting.

  10. Store and seach dialog

    I suggest you make store and seach dialogs possible to copy to other file cabinets, because the prosses with ordering the fields is MASSIVE! If you have 50 Field for example, all the pressing on left mouse key is hurting my finger ;)

  11. Expand the Keep Entries dialog to the field level so that users can store multiple documents of similar type

    It looks like DocuWare 6.6 allows users to Keep Entries in the Windows Explorer store dialog in a way that the File Name field changes with each file. The web client does not function in the same way (i.e. if Keep Entries is checked, then all fields will be remain the same. Could you make Keep Entries more modular/precise by having a check box next to each field so that users could choose which entries they want to keep and which they'd like to input different values? I mostly think users would like to uncheck the File Name field and…

  12. Option to replace a stored PDF

    stored a PDF in DocuWare.
    Customer send a new version. Can we get a replace option. Right mouse click: load new version...
    Or drag n drop on a stored document.
    This will also be great for office documents.

  13. Allow documents storage in batches instead of having to store each individual document.

    After you drag multiple documents to the Inbox simultaneously, they are all highlighted and you can select the "STORE" box, but the next step forces you to select STORE once again individually for each item needing to be stored, which is completely redundant. They were already all highlighted and STORE was selected, at which point a "group store" would be adequate. After all, there is always the option of deleting a document later on, if this was a mis-step.

  14. Allow Intelligent Indexing Tray backup for Import Configurations

    Allow the option to designate an Intelligent Indexing tray for anything that is not recognized as a valid Import Config. Would be good when used with an AutoIdentify import folder.

  15. Right Click Capability to store files

    We would like to enhance the windows integration by adding right click capabilities. Multiple files can be selected and when right clicked a Docuware sub-menu would be available with the storing dialogues the user connected has access to which would copy the files into Docuware.

  17. Store automatically should be available to use a dialog of user choice

    Currently, the 'Store automatically' functionality is only available to use store dialog that is set up as default in Docuware Administration.
    Would be great if user could choose which dialog is to be used for 'Store Automatically' function. This is especially helpful using when various dialogs have additional functionality such as fixed fields values or fields with automatic increment for different document types.

  18. Connect to Outlook could not view document before storing into Docuware

    It was discovered that when storing documents from C2O, it was only the store dialog that pop up to index the document but the document to be indexed could not be viewed just like in Docuware where we have the store dialog and the document to be stored. Do I need to perform any task before the document to stored is been viewed

  19. Being able to make a selectlist via an API CALL

    BEcause more and more applications are SaaS application, it is harder and harder to make a select list from data from other applications or databases. This is because SaaS applications like finance application, protect access to their database directly. The only way to do this is via API calls. In this way the customer can control the API reguest and manipulate, alter, or adjust the return awnser that fills the select list.
    This is a must have for Docuware to be able to integrate with other applications which databases are not reachable.

  20. Create Blank Store Dialogs

    It would be really helpful to have the option for a blank store dialog option instead of left clicking all the options I dont want. We have around 100 index fields and sometimes I just want 3 or 4.
