Dynamic Text Size for a Merge Field
Please add an option for the text size to be Dynamic. Basically when the text entered on the feild is longer than what is on the Merge Document, then the text gets cut off. If there was a simple check box for Dynamic text, then when the text entered on the form was longer than the merge document field, it would automatically resize small enough to fit into the merge field.

Multi Column Select Lists - Define which column is the stored value
In a multi-column select list, these are used as "Helpers" for the user to select a value from an SQL DB. If the user types the name from the first column, we want to provide five other columns to help them identify which one they want, things like address, active/inactive etc. I want to be able to allow them to select the one they want BUT only return or store when indexing the value in the 4th column, for Vendor ID and not the name they searched by in column 1.

Add the ability to link select lists to an index field of a File Cabinet in Forms
In Forms, select lists available are only the ones "manually" created as "single column" or "multiple columns".
It would be great to allow select lists based on an index field in a File Cabinet. For Example : select list based on an index named "Customer" in a dedicated File cabinet, which could be updated/populated via other datas' assignments in a WF, after sending the Form.
This way the select list would be always up to date, with no need to add manually a new entry in the "fixed" select list or update any csv file or FTP file as well.…2 votes -
Web Forms: Possibility to add tables
It will be great if we had the possibility of adding tables to web forms and also indexing them to an existing table database field.
5 votesThank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

Web Forms: Auto number to increase when the form is submitted, not opened
The auto number used in a web form increases every time the form is opened, not submitted. I was expecting to be increased every time the form gets submitted, as we use the auto number to identify the form.

Can something be done with the "fixed Text" function of the Form Designer?
It is almost impossible to change font size consistently. The spacing and line breaks are always off when pasting text.

Auto Fill fields by using multi-coloumn Auswahllisten
Scenario:
4 Entry Fields in Form - three mandatory, one optional. Optional can be filled by choosing en entry from multi-coloumn Auswahlliste.-> Fill the three mandatory fields with other entries from the Auswahlliste, when non-mandatory field is picked by user.
Example:
Public form to drop a onsite report.
Customer, Customer No. and Onsite Order Number are mandatory, transaction no. is optional.
Transaction No. is linked with the other information in an Auswahlliste.User can now manually enter the three mandatory infos, or by entering the correct Transaction No, the fields are autofilled.

Add a "Clear Form" option / button
With the newly added auto populating of selective select list fields. The potential for an error that can not be remedied is evident. If an auto populated field is read only for example, even if you change the initially selected field via X and new drop down selection, it does not correct the other fields.

Time picker
A basic option that is missing on the web forms designer is a time picker. The date one works great...now if we just had a time option that pulled up a clock on the mobile device or browser to easily and consistently set the time that would be great.

Ability to assign more than one Behavior per field in form designer
currently only one behavior is allowed to be assigned per field. The ability to assign multiple behaviors would allow a greater number of options for configuration.

Allow URL parameters in DocuWare Forms
Since each field in a DocuWare Form has an ID it would be very handy to be able to pass data to that field via a URL parameter.
If I had a field on a form with the ID of "Location" I'd like to be able to call that form with a specific location value. The form would then load with that field already prefilled with that value. Something like this:

Highlight mandatory fields in forms
Is it possible to have something more visual for mandatory form fields, that draws a users' attention to complete a specific required field, as currently the submit button remains greyed out and you have to hover to find the names of the field that need to be completed.
For example a red outline (as shown in the attachment, an example from Office 365 Forms), it will be easier for users to complete mandatory fields, by visually drawing their attention to it.

Properly format DW Forms page width for mobile devices
Currently, when a DocuWare form is displayed on a mobile device, the page width is calculated as if the device is held in landscape mode, even though it is being held in portrait mode. This causes the end user to have to scroll to the right to read text or see if the form field has a drop-down list when in portrait mode.

Save uploads from Forms with different index entries
If you use multiple upload blocks in a WebForm they all get the same index entries. For example a upload block for letters. and a different block for Copy ID. ANd a third block for a contract.
all attachments have the same index entries. Please create an option to assign diffent docment types per upload block1 vote -

You can use Office documents in the Forms. But the output is always PDF. Please create option for Forms output to Word and Excel

allow a merge form to be created based on content of a form
I have several merge forms that may or may not be needed depending on the content of a form. For example I have 2 consent forms that are identical the only difference is the county. I would like to use 1 form and then have a checkbox for the county and it use the data from that checkbox to determine which merge form to complete.

Add the ability to darken the output from a signature field in a Docuware form
Add the ability to darken signatures output from the Signature Field element in Docuware Forms. Currently it seems the signatures come out very light when submitted via PC with no ability to darken

Option to set Merge Form Field behaviour as Single Line Text or Multi Lines Text
As default Merge Form Field displays text as Single Line Text and often text from a web form disappears if it's too long. They only way the text breaks lines is if it's linked to a Multi Lines Text Field from a web form.
Now with Fill Areas if I want to overlay text from a Keyword type index in workflow to a fill area that wasn't linked to Multi Lines Field it behaves as Single Line Text.
Could you give us an option to choose Fill Area behaviour (as a Single Line Text or Multi Lines Text), please?4 votes -
Docuware forms should have a table field that indexes a table index field
In docuware 7.1 there is a new index field type of table. This is great except it isn't all that useful without being able to automatically enter data into the table. Our purchase order requests for example have to index a quantity, price, description, and 2 accounting codes for each line item. So currently, I have a spreadsheet that I print into docuware with a print configuration and it indexes each of those items so it can be used to import into our accounting system. I can't index the table items with the print configuration. According to your documentation page…
