Import users in bulk to DocuWare cloud system
Very important for CUSTOMERS to be able to import large numbers of users directly to the cloud system.

Allow entry of multiple field into a Keyword or User LIST global variable
Currently adding a GET DATA lookup you can only add 1 entry to either a KEYWORD or USER LIST global variable.
Example: USER LIST VARIABLE (APPROVERS) should be populated with two index fields (Field1, Field2)
The only way of accomplishing this is creating 2 different GET DATA tasks

Certified Digital Electronic Signature with Stamps
We have moved to a digital age where for compliance, regulations, or demand we must be able to sign documents with “Certified Digital Electronic Signature”. Multiple countries are applying this technology to authenticate the authenticity of the document. Can this technology or process be implemented with a DocuWare stamp?

Allow to create custom scripts in the workflow designers
It would be helpfull if in the workflow activity we had a special activity called "Script".
We should be able to write a custom DLL and call this DLL in the workflow.This dll could be written in VB.NET or C#, have access to the GAPI.
In this custom script, we should be able to :
- Retrieve (and modify) data index from the document
- Retirieve (and modify) data index from the workflow instance
- Export data (eg : export XML readable by an accounting software)
- Send emails
- Dynamically populate user(s) for next activityIn this way…

Add data validation for fields in Forms
Currently there is no validation of form fields. Would be nice to be able to use reg ex and common formats in order to ensure that the data submitted from a form is in the correct format.

Allow a copy paste with hotkey from smartconnect
As the smartConnect configuration might be sometimes a bit tricky, due to different screensizes, I think it would be nice to be able to overlight a text in an application, and then use a hotkey to read it and use it in a search dialog.

have you tried the “Current selection” option in Smart Connect?When you define your search you can add a “dynamic entry” to your Indexfield. There you can select “Currentselection”.
With this function you will be able to search for the string that is selected in the application.

Automatically adding fields to ALL dialogs

Forcibly, by the way. I have customers that have 15+ dialogs, lists, etc - and every time I add a field, I have to remove this new field from every single dialog my new field doesn't pertain to.
Can we please bring back the functionality of choosing which dialogs a new field should belong to? Thank you9 votesThank you for your contribution.

New fields are only added to the standard dialogs. All the custom dialogs will not display the new field. -
DW Forms dynamic sections
With multiples sections defined in the form, ability to show/hide sections by clicking the title or depending of previous choices.
Example : form question is "are you single or married", if user choice is married the section "husband details" with name/surname/date of birth/nationality questions is shown overwise it is hidden9 votesThank you for your contribution.

Allow to complete a form once filled by a costumer
DW introduce forms in 6.8. After following the webinar I had a suggestion. In 6.8 the form will be saved as PDF after it is filled in. Now, what I want is this e.g. after a costumer filled a form and send it to our company we must be able to complete the form by filling additional information. If you get this now as PDF you can not complete this. Another additional feature would be great. Once the costumer send a filled form, the department must received a e-mail notification of an incoming form saved in DocuWare.

Populate E-Mail receiver dynamically
It would be helpful if you can populate the e-mail receiver dynamically e.g. as content of an index-field or a workflow variable.

Are able to automatically create baskets when a new user is synced from AD
When using AD to sync users it would be really handy if you could choose to automatically create a Web Basket for these users.
Currently you have to create all the users and then go and create the web baskets separately. This is ok when you are first configuring the system but later down the line it becomes an issue when the sync is on a schedule as you have no idea who does/doesn't have a basket.

Forms: Select List of Users should not show deactivated Users
We're using a dropdown on forms for the user to select their username. Unfortunately, the list shows EVERY user that has ever been created, even though several are deactivated. DocuWare should provide the means to only show Activated users.

In 6.12, when you create a new field, il is automatically add in every dialog box.

Workflow Designer -> Assign Data -> Allow List Variables to be assigned more than once
There are two ways I have found to assign list variables:
1. from database query which returns multiple rows
2. from multiple assignment statements without the "replace" box ticked.If 1. is not available, the only way to accomplish is to have a series of Assign Data activities, one per item in the list, since the List Variable is no longer available from the choices of variables to assign data, once it is used the first time.
Creating a loop is also possible, and so far this is the best way I've found, along with using some <ugly> nested VBA…

Need ability to record license activity history
Would like to have a way to see license activity history.
It is more like an audit trail report where for a specific period of time, I can view the licenses that were in use, with their respective length of time and usernames.

With the new auditing functionality it is possible to log all logins and logoffs from users so you can create your own reports. -
Sub-Table Column
Add a Table-Field where you could fill in accounting relevant data eg. a costcentre column, amount column etc.
This field should work like the keyword column only with more (definable) subcolumns.

Import module that reads metadata file sent with scan
Need the ability to read a metadata file, csv or xml file, when scanning from mfp much like active import does.
