The "assign to" allows to use variable only for one user
The "assign to" allows to use variable only for one user.
If you want to assign tasks dynamically to multiple users or role, you need to use a task but it is not practical.
To dispatch tasks in the beginning of a workflow we do not want a task for doing that.
We should use "assign to" with variable more complexe like 'role' or 'keyword' like in the task

Define a approver list from another field
It would be interesting to be able to define a list of
approver from another field.
For example a list of approver according to a field

Simplify access to file cabinet data on docuware cloud
On DW Cloud, Right now if you need access to the dwstorage user or storage date time, you need make a request cabinet transform the sqllite database and convert to excel the file cabinet data, all of this to make a simple report for example too see the document production of the past thursday, if you need to make this every day is really hard to do it, maybe make access to read data (add-on) with excel will be great just for read file cabinets data
2 votesThank you for your contribution. You can export file cabinet data right from the result list. On each result list there is a three dots icon in the upper right corner. Click there and choose “Export to CSV file …”. This file can then be openend in Excel.

Multiple selection for select list in Workflow Manager
In many cases user should be able to select more than one entry from a select list. For example multiple order numbers. These numbers will not be used for assignment, they just have to be stamped to the document. For use cases like this, we need to be able to select multiple entries in a normal select list.

Labels for result list in version 6.5
In previous versions of DocuWare result list configuration in the administration it was possible to edit the labels of the Result List fields. With 6.5 result list will show the default label for this field and this cannot be edited anymore. This means that you can edit labels for search and store dialogs but you cannot edit these for result list anymore.

Hiding a field in Docuware Form after it has been populated so a user can not see it but populated in the meta data of the file cabinet
It will be nice if a field when created and filled in the DocuWare Form should not be visible after it has been submitted. The word on this field should be populated in the file cabinet index field after it has been linked.
1 voteYou can already accomplish this if you use a "Merge Form". Then you can place all needed form fields on the template and all not placed fields will not be on the document, but only in index entries.

Autoindex Keyword field HasChanged option
We are missing has changed condition for keyword fields and have to create worklows for what autoindex could have been used

Allow writing into table fields via Autoindex or Workflow 'assign data' step.
There should be the option to write into specific table field columns either within the Autoindex module or the assign data step within the workflow designer.
The use can for this is an end user would like to assign the same GL codes and amounts for recurring invoices. Instead of having to type out this information each time a "standard" invoice comes through, they would select an identifying option which would then kick off an Autoindex job or Workflow. From there we would assign the fixed GL data.
This would save the customer time as they would not have to…

Create a feature that allows you to require all checkboxes to be checked before submitting a form
Basically it would create the ability to make a task checklist that requires a user to check all of the boxes in the category before the submit button becomes available. This would make it so creating a task checklist for repeated tasks would be easier and quicker to create without having to add individual checkbox categories for each and every item on the list, which would leave large gaps between each one.

create a pause or wait function in workflow.
When something causes a lot of documents to start a workflow that send a mail message at the same time the mail server starts rejecting connections. This notably happens with pay stub notifications sent to employees that their pay stub is available. I can get around this by creating several workflows and start the workflow based alphabetically by the employees name but it would be nice if I could just set one workflow to pause a certain number of seconds before continuing based on the employee name.

Display Forms Dropdown Button on the main screen
The ability to show forms allocated to set roles and users on the screen would be great. In the same way you have search & tasks at the moment. This would save the long URLS or having to create short URLS.

We'd like to send email with annotation (we created a stamp with a bitmap signature ).

Indexing Assistance List Filter
Abitilty to add a filter an external List data source, the same way it is possible in the autoindex configuration.
This way, the Lists could be more precise and agile in DW.

MISSING Predefined field entry for lists and folders
I suppose it is a bug, but the ability to predefine an entry fo a field is missing in the LIST & FOLDER Index dialogs.
This is giving us many problems, as users import files directly to folders (both via web and explorer client).1 voteThank you for your contribution.
Your idea is already available.In every folder, you can define which store dialog should be used, and store dialogs have the functionality for predefined fields.

Outline modifications that were made to Index Entries
There is no way tell what changes were made when an Index Entry has been edited (e.g. If someone modifies an Index Entry, the system only lets you know who modified entry, but it doesn't outline modifications that were made.)

Docuware Import should be available as a windows service
We do not allow service accounts to login to our servers (for security purposes) so having to run Docuware Import as an application is very annoying since every time the user logs out the job stops. Everything that needs to run constantly in an "enterprise-grade' application should not be run as a windows user.

Substitute the message "No se ha encontrado ninguna entrada" for "No se ha encontrado ninguna entrada que empiece por ese término""
In the Spanish version, when searching for documents in any indexed field a message pops out under the searching line saying "No se ha encontrado ninguna entrada". That message is incorrect, it should say "No se ha encontrado ninguna entrada que empiece por ese término" which is what it is really happenning.
I makes people think that there will be no results if they look for that word and they get upset, but they are mistaken / mislead.1 voteThank you for your contribution.

Allow importing multiple faled with warning jobs at once
Sometimes multiple import jobs result in warnings with the files not imported. It would save time if we could resubmit all or selected jobs at once instead of one at a time.

Ability to pre-populate Today's Date on forms
Most of the forms we have set up have Today's Date. Our staff and users have been asking to have this prepopulated with... today's date.
