Integration with MS Teams
Our prospect is currently making decisions on their future road-map regarding their document management needs and requirements. They have seen a demo of the Docuware Solution and love the workflows and capabilities of Docuware. What they have requested is if DW will integrate with MS Teams/One Drive in the future. HTTP Documentation for REST API
Release a Documentation on HTTP layer for the REST API described at http://help.docuware.com/sdk/platform/html/66b2ed1e-2aef-452a-97cd-5014bbf0242b.htm.
The DocuWare Knowledge Center states about the release of Docuware 6.8:
With the release of the REST interface "DocuWare Platform Service" the communication between DocuWare and costum application is remodeled. Ultimately, the applications must be updated to use the new interface.

Pro Active hotfix pack installation
It is consensual that the HFpacks should be installed.
Instead of spending a lot of time (and the need to remember to do it) looking for the latest HFpack, it would be very nice that regularly DW could show, somehow, even in the administrator, that a new HFpack is available.
Then the administrator could decide when to install it.
To the eyes of the customer this would make DW look a lot friendlier.18 votesThank you for your idea.

REST API Example
It would be nice to see an example on how to do an simple login using the "REST API" in PHP(curl) or jQuery(Ajax)
Please don't point me to documentation as it is poorly documented....

DocuSign or other E-signature integration
An integration with a legally binding e-signature provider would be a strong thing to feature. As we build our KSEM and HR use cases, e-sig will come up often.

create users using Platform .NET API
Provide feature to manange users, groups, roles and profiles, for example create a new user on especific organization and set/remove the roles, groups etc, delete users, change password.

Arabic Language support in OCR (Intelligent indexing)
Because Clients are archiving and dealing with a Huge amount of Documents that are in Arabic Language
specially in GCC.
I strongly recommend that you could include Arabic Language support in OCR (Intelligent indexing).

Allow numeric values over 2147483647
Numeric fields have a maximum INT value of 2147483647. Therefore amounts that exceed 21.474.836,46 are cut off (INT32 range exceeded). DocuWare should allow bigger numeric values. The only workaround is to use VARCHAR for numeric values.

improve "keyword" fieldtype
At the moment a keyword field is limited to 20 characters and 60 entrys per document.
Also it would be very useful to enter more then one value per keyword. For example if a user wants to give multiple amounts and the referenced cost centers for an invoice it is very complicated.
Best would be to have a keyword field, which is in itself multiple field. So that the keyword table in the database would look something like this: "DOCID;DWKEYWORD1;DWKEYWORD2;DWKEYWORD3".6 votesFirst part of the idea is solved with version 6.9. Easy way to check installed hotfixes
I want to check which hotfixes have been autoinstalled in a Docuware 6.6 deployment, when have they been installed and any feedback about this update.
The only way I can do this is checking modified .DLL files
Is there any chance to improve this?
5 votesStarting in DocuWare Version 7.1. If you start DocuWare setup you can see which version is installed based on the Version number displayed on the first screen.
You can also check this using “About DocuWare” in DocuWare WebClient.

Make highlighted fulltext results available in URL Integration for Viewer and Result List & Viewer integration types
Currently, when performing a Fulltext search using either the Viewer or Result List & Viewer integration types for URL Integration, the results will not have the fulltext terms highlighted.
This works correctly when using the Search, Result List & Viewer integration type, so it should work as well with the other types.

Send alert when available open storage space has gotten to 100 MB, to allow necessary action to be taken.
For Cloud based users, send an alert to Admin, advising open available storage is now limited to 100 MB. Either more space must be purchased or documents must be deleted.

Date as Match Code in DW6.11 Autoindex
Prior to DW6.11, index fields of type date would appear as options for match codes. In DW6.11 date fields no longer appear in the file cabinet's list to be chosen for matching to other values, in file cabinets or databases. This needs to be restored, that is:

Improve the website so that its a click to open the panel
The current Docuware website is horrible to navigate around if you know where you are going.
As an example, if you move to select the registered member menu (the 2 faces) but accidently clip the 'why Docuware / call / email' panel.
The why docuware panel opens, and then obscures the 'registered memeber' menu options when they appear.you then have the move back down, close that box, then move the mouse back up the screen while avoiding all the popout areas.

How about a searchable SDK manual or document
The online document is not searchable. pdf version or .doc version will help the developers for the API integration and reduce the support ticket.

Keyword table instead of field
It would be very helpful if you could add some kind of table data as index criteria to a document. In a lot of workflows, for example an incoming invoice process, users need to allocate multiple amounts on specific cost centers or accounts.
At the moment it is only possible to add multiple keyword fields which then can contain multiple data entries but the single entries are not linked to each other.
