I suggest adding different shapes
Flowcharts are comprised of decision, delay, hold, manual operation, inputs, document, etc step-shapes. These are missing and not every step of a process is a box-step.
Also, embed options or a way to merge it directly to Docuware Workflow designer.

I suggest adding a way to relate notes to tasks.
Having a way to connect a note to a task to make it clear that it belongs to a particular task. Maybe a bubble attached to the task or having a collapsible note below the task.

Adjustable size of steps
As for the notes i am expecting the same behavior for the steps. Adjust the size of steps would help differentiating and helps avoiding unnecessary word wrapping.

Replicate Workflow Manager and Import / Export
I think it would be more useful and efficient if it mirrored the steps available in workflow manager. (e.g. assign data) different types of steps could then be imported into workflow manager as a shell that could be further configured. Likewise, existing workflows could be exported as shells that could be tweaked and then imported into other DocuWare instances for further configuration. The ability to copy workflows within Process Planner would be nice to go along with this.

I suggest the ability to add images and logos within the Process Planner
It would be nice if there was the ability to add a customer logo to personalize the experience for our customers. Also if images could also be added into the diagram then this can assist with distinguishing and defining the solution clearer (such as cloud/on-premise, external applications, servers and firewalls etc).

mail notification and versioning
Activate an mail notification when a user edit the flow chart. Use different color to detect what change in the flow is done and who made the change.

Know who did the modification
If somebody has changed something add his name beside the modification like in Onenote office with the date to know who did the modification

Updates of shared plans should trigger a notification to the email addresses the plan is shared with
If a plan is shared with other user, and changes were made, there should be an option to inform the other users of the changes.

The ability to drag a step to a new location and have the connecting line auto adjust position to keep the layout clean
See a simple sample of what happens when you drag steps to a new location. The connecting lines get very confusing.

Work flow for release
have the possibility to define approvers and send a notification email when its released or rejected. versioning also is recommonded

I suggest a snap-to-grid option
This will allow for a more clear and concise diagram to be created faster. Specifically I encounter this in sizing comment boxes horizontally

Ability to open more than one map at a time
It would help productivity to being able to open more than one map at a time so that it' be easier to use the same phrases/wording across different maps for similar process steps.

I suggest to look from the Business and IT perspectives
Diagram looks very nice from the perspective of business users and I think we are going to the right direction. Please consider additional simple features listed below, that can really improve usability and encourage companies to use this tool in practice.
Business perspective:
1. Adding simple Decision step which can show two types of flow: parrallel and alternatives
2. Allowing the loops betweean single business process steps
3. Three types of steps: User Activity, Decision Step and Interface Step ( showing intergations)
4. Define users and groups of users

Copy Link button should create an Edit link, not only a Read-Only link
The Copy Link button currently copies a Read-Only link to the clipboard. Edit-capable users need to be entered one at a time and invited by the system. Those emails may go to spam. We would like to invite Edit users in our own email.

categories should be a central setting, not just for the user
It seems that each user a plan is shared with has to manage the categories separately. That is time consuming and not helpful if the categories are being used to inform other users of changes/updates to the plan.

Category - No Category should be offered, too
We have about 160 processes in the overview and working our way through categorising them all. It would be good to have a view for only the diagrams which have no category yet.
