Ability to store a Form in Document Tray or File Cabinet
Currently you can only store a Form directly into a File Cabinet with a store dialog. Need ability to store into a Document Tray as well. When storing with Import, Printer or email you have option to store document into Document Tray or File Cabinet

create a datetime field in forms
In forms there is a date field but that puts the time part of the datetime field in the database as 00:00:00 We have out of town expense reports that calculate the time to determine if meals should be paid. So if you leave early enough you get reimbursed for breakfast for example. Or if you get back early enough you don't get reimbursed for dinner. Currently use a spreadsheet and then print it to docuware but I would like to create a form so we could fill it out on our phones and take pictures of receipts to attach…

Group elements in DocuWare Forms and an "add button" to dynamically "create" fields
Imagine that Im a technician and require spare parts to fix something... I would need a document with some certain information which would repeat n number of times, i.e. Part Number, Description, Qty... there won't be a fixed number of fields that i have to fill each time I need spare parts.
The group elements function would allow to wrap PartNumber, Description and Qty to be treated as one, so with the Add button you could add another group of those fields as on requirements

Möglichkeit Schriftgröße, -art, -schnitt und -farbe zu ändern
Um die Formulare visuell ansprechender und übersichtlicher zu gestalten wäre es eine große Hilfe, Möglichkeiten zur Anpassung von Schriftgröße. -art, -schnitt und farbe zu haben.

Fillable PDF Web Forms
An option to have the pdf Web Forms create a Fillable pdf like you can with the merge forms. We would like to have PDF forms instead of flat PDF's.
I really like the layouts I can create with the web forms, but I have to use Merge Forms because we need the ability to easily edit the PDF's after they have been submitted. Merge forms are ok, but making the Web Forms as fillable PDF's would be very helpful for us, and much faster to create and easier to manage.

Form filling checks and crosses
When mapping fields to a merge doc, can we have the option to have ticks, or checks as well as the existing "X" ?
The reason is that when using a Checkbox field in form design, and then mapping that to a merge form the data changes from a "tick" for yes on the web form, to an "X" which can be interpreted as a "No" on the merge form.

DocuWare Form Table Fields can control with Behavior
Hope DocuWare can update the features of Table Fields in DocuWare Forms with an option to control the table fields in Behavior. Which makes this table fields in web form more flexible and will only appear if needed.

Add DateTime field in forms
some use cases require recording the time of form input.
Having a date-time field available helps to enter correct data.
now you have to manage it with a text field and a field mask, which is inconvenient both user-side and configuration-side, because then that string has to be added to the recorded date.14 votes -
Zwischenspeichern von Forms Formularen
Große Formulare erfordern viel Zeit beim Ausfüllen. Optimal wäre es, wenn der User das Formular "zwischenspeichern" und zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt daran weiter arbeiten könnte.
Diese Funktion sollte auch für "öffentliche Formulare" verfügbar sein.

Date/time for forms
It would be nice to have a Date/Time form ability instead of simply just Date. This would work great for forms used for meeting scheduling

Add Conditional Merge Form Templates
It would be useful to only Merge onto specific templates based on a condition.
I have a client that has variations on some of their PDF templates used for Merge Forms (usually between 2 and 6 variations). For example, headers and footers may differ between departments, but the information being merged is generic.
Currently I give each Merge Form a unique fixed entry (i.e. department name) which gets matched against the department selected in a drop down list. When the forms enter a workflow, the documents where the selected entry does not match the fixed entry get marked for deletion.

Create forms with a organization template
like a fusion into "form of fusion" with "traditional forms". For example, I upload the PDF template file and add items on this template to capture information. In this way, the user of a web client looks at a friendly interface.

Ablagedialoge nur für Forms freischalten
Für die korrekte Verarbeitung eines Formulars über den Workflow Manager werden oftmals bestimmte Werte aus dem Formular benötigt.
Ich will aber vermeiden, dass der Benutzer diesen Ablagedialoge verwendet, um Dokumente im Archiv abzulegen.Es wäre nun sinnvoll, dass man Ablagedialoge nur für ein Formular aktivieren kann und der Dialog nicht im WebClient angezeigt wird.
13 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Wir haben es unserer Sammlung von Ideen und Funktionen hinzugefügt und werden es weiter untersuchen. Wir können derzeit nicht genau sagen, wann diese Idee umgesetzt wird. Sobald wir weitere Informationen haben, werden wir den Status aktualisieren.

Are there any plans for a Captcha on the Forms?
When publishing a public form it would be really useful to have a Captcha to avoid any spam from bots.

Merge and Web Form
We have several forms where part of the data gets merged onto a filled out form that we give to the client, and the rest of the information is lost. I've worked around this by creating a basic word document to hold on to the excess information that is only used internally, however it would be nice if it was possible to use the merge form for the information you want on to a specific document, AND the web form layout that captures ALL the data.

Create a data record from a form
I use forms as a down and dirty data collection tool. I don't necessarily need to keep the form I just want the data. I also have a case where I have a merge form and one of the merge forms is a blank page that I use for the data record. The problem with this is that I can't just double click on the data record in search results to edit it I have to edit indexes. It would be nice if there was a third option with forms for create data record. Or in Merge forms have an…

Capture data from barcode in to Forms
If we can capture data from a barcode directly into a web form using a mobile device, we can eliminate the human error at the time of capture of index data and this will make the job much faster in a production line, much like an import job from a pc that can read and capture the information contained in the barcode, see attached image for a sample of a capture from a mobile device.

Dokumente aus Briefkorb per Drag+Drop an Formular anhängen
Bei einem Formular mit einem Feld für Dateianhänge sollte man auch Dokumente aus dem DW Briefkorb per Drag+Drop in dieses Feld schieben können und somit das Dokument an das Formular anhängen

Vorlagen Designer: PDF Formular beim Ausfüllen visualisieren
Die Docuware Forms sehen beim Ausfüllen aktuell sehr trist aus. Es wäre sinnvoll, wenn man hinterlegte PDF Formulare beim Ausfüllen visualisieren könnte, so dass das CI gewahrt bleibt und man sich beim Bearbeiten "näher dran" fühlt. Auch sollte das Formular flexibler sein durch die Aufteilung in mehrere Spalten, Checkboxen horizontal und Vertikal. Darüber hinaus sollten bei der Auswahl einer Kundennummer sinnvolle Felder befüllt sein oder bei der Auswahl einer Auftragsnummer bereits bekannte Werte eingetragen werden, um es dem Bearbeiter leichter zu machen, das Formular korrekt auszufüllen.
11 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Es gab bereits einige Verbesserungen zur Aufteilung der Formulare. Die Möglichkeit, PDF-Dateien zu hinterlegen, ist aktuell nicht geplant.
