Formularfelder mit Indexfeldern aus dem Archiv vorbelegen
Wenn im Formular ein erstes Feld befüllt ist (z.B. Kundennummer) sollten weitere Felder mit den passenden Indexfelder vorbelegt werden.

Allow wildcard search in Docuware Forms
As far as I know, there is no possibility to search with a wildcard in a text field based on a select list.
Eg. :
I have a select list such as AB 100, 1B 101, AB 102,I'd like to get the result "AB 102" if I type "102", or even just "102".

Will we ever have the capability of having line items in a web form?
Would be really nice if we could define line items in the database, and allow multiple lines to be filled in a form...

Forms Checkboxen und Textfelder vorbelegen
Die Option, Checkboxen im Formular vorbelegen zu können wäre hilfreich. Zudem wäre eine Vorbelegung bei Textfelder im Formular mit leicht transparentem Text auch gut.

Regex in DocuWare Forms unterstützen
in einer elektronischen Bewerbung soll eine E-Mail-Adresse angegeben werden - da derzeit keine Regulären Ausdrücke in Forms möglich sind, entfällt aber eine grobe Vorprüfung, was in meinen Augen verbesserungsfähig ist. Bitte Regex mit einbauen

Request for changes on linked lists
We would like to make an evolution request that would allow for greater comfort in entering storage forms by automatically filling in a field with a list linked to another field and offering a single value.

With upcoming version 7.6, the forms module will support "Multi Column Select Lists". This means:
- Assign multi-column-select-lists to dropdowns
- configure filters between dropdowns
- autofill a dropdown in case filtering leads to only one remaining value

Add a URL Type to Form
Ability to add a link to something else even another form. For Example:
Choosing a client form a select list drop down but that client doesn't exist. click the link to add a new client pops up a form to add the new client which then populates the DB select list I am pulling from4 votesThank you for your contribution. Your idea is already available in the product.

ability to create forms with pre-filled non-system fields
in a Workflow sometimes it is necessary to create pre-filled forms according to the Workflow data. Example create a payment request form according to the validated invoice with the possibility of automatically retrieving invoice data.

Autofill form fields with Workflow variables
It would be helpful if we could autofill Form fields with data from Workflow. Example: If I generate a link/URL in Workflow to open a Form, the URL could contain Workflow variables with corresponding Fields which are then auto filled in the Form.

Field Behavior function in Forms need ability to autofill fields based on entries in other fields
If a field behavior is true then auto fill other fields on form with fixed text.
For example in an I-9 Form if you choose "U.S. Passport" in the document title field then the Issuing Authority field need to auto populate with "U.S. Department of State"

Docuware Forms NTLM Auth.
Es sollte möglich sein auch den Link von Docuware Forms mit Windows Auth. aufzurufen ohne über die Anmeldemaske zu gehen.
Leider ist dies laut Support nicht möglich.

DocuWare Forms aktueller User anzeigen
Der currentuser sollte auf dem Dokument angezeigt werden können. Es sollte also möglich sein, ein Feld direkt mit dem Mitarbeiternamen zu befüllen.

DocuWare Forms - Feld "Frei Hand"
Ein "Frei Hand" Feld ist wünschenswert, um ein Formular mit handschriftlichen Notizen ergänzen zu können, z.B. als Besuchsbericht für einen Vertriebsmitarbeiter vor Ort beim Kunden.

If, when filing via DocuWare Forms, I assign a filing mask in which the field for entering an email address is restricted to a correct email address via a field mask, this field mask is not taken into account when the form is placed in the archive.

Be able to use predefined fields such as dates in a DW Form
It would be great to be able to have a date field and just have it prepopulated with the current date. Also, would be great to be able to use currentuserlongname as a prepopulated item in a form field

Sprache der Kontroll- und Funktionsfelder im Formular einstellbar machen
Bei öffentlichen Formularen stellen wir in der Regel Übersetzungen für ausländische Niederlassungen bereit. Diese sind auch ohne DW Zugang nutzbar, allerdings sind Schaltflächen (Beschreibung eines Dateiuploads, Funktionsfelder wie Absenden) weiterhin z.B. in Deutsch.
Die Sprache der technischen Erläuterungen und der Funktionsfelder sollte für das Form über Settings wählbar sein.

Die Beschreibungen und Buttons sind immer in der im Browser definierten Sprache. D.h. in einem englisch eingestellten Browser sind auch diese Schaltflächen englisch.

Hiding a field in Docuware Form after it has been populated so a user can not see it but populated in the meta data of the file cabinet
It will be nice if a field when created and filled in the DocuWare Form should not be visible after it has been submitted. The word on this field should be populated in the file cabinet index field after it has been linked.
1 voteYou can already accomplish this if you use a "Merge Form". Then you can place all needed form fields on the template and all not placed fields will not be on the document, but only in index entries.

Incluir listas de selección filtradas
Estará muy bien incluir listas de selección filtradas en los campos de Forms de Docuware similar a los campos en Web Client. Esto ayudaría bastante en llenado de formularios y evitara errores al capturar manual algún dato.

Give the ability to not show the number from the Auto Numbering on a from.
Give the ability to hide the ID number that is generated from the Auto Number system in forms. The ID number will still show on the submitted Document even if after auto Numbering id is not showing on the form.

Your idea is available with version 7.12. You can make the automatic number count on submission. This way, the number is invisible on the published form.

Create a feature that allows you to require all checkboxes to be checked before submitting a form
Basically it would create the ability to make a task checklist that requires a user to check all of the boxes in the category before the submit button becomes available. This would make it so creating a task checklist for repeated tasks would be easier and quicker to create without having to add individual checkbox categories for each and every item on the list, which would leave large gaps between each one.
