    Re-enable the DocuWare Idle Session timeout functionality for Web clients that existed in pre 6.5 versions. Virtually all software products support idle session timeouts for security reasons and to free up system resources.

  2. Log out idle user

    Provide the ability for the system administrator to log idle users out. This can be especially useful when using named accts and there is no acct provided for the administrator to build and test any new configurations. Reassigning a named acct for the administrator will not automatically log out the user and allow the administrator to log into the web client.

  3. Restore deleted documents

    It could be nice and really well appreciated to be able to restore documents after deletion, a bit like the Windows recycle bin

  4. Send Request improvement

    Send Request could be very helpful with two additional pieces (already there) added. Where the "Document Subject Started" columns are, I would like to see "User" and "Decision" columns added. This would allow you to sort by user or decision, and see it at a glance rather than opening each one.

    Also as the sender, I would like to see the number bubble come up when a decision has been made on a request that I sent out. Right now i have to hunt it down in the Sent Requests menu. There's no feedback to the sender.

  5. Wieder mit einem leeren Archiv anfangen!

    Beim anlegen eines Archives sind leider Datenbankfelder vorgegeben. Diese müssen immer wieder gelöscht werden, damit das mit dem Kunden besprochene Archiv angelegt werden kann.

  6. BRING BACK AUTO ROTATE

    Automatic Image Correction would previously automatically rotate documents. In the last update it stopped auto rotating the documents. Now I have to rotate each individual document.

  9. allow arithmetic expressions in workflow table fields default value

    I am using a table field and I have to keep track of the number of days between an evaluation date and when the report is filed. I have the dates in a table field and I would like to pre-populate the difference in days by simply using a datediff function

  10. add Docuwares fields to the CSV file.

    Currently the EXPORT to CSV File will export the USER Data but not the Docuware data. This data (DOCID,SDATE,STIME etc) Is critical in getting a solid audit of the system. The system reports issues based on DOCID but we have no way of dumping a report to match it.

    In conversion If 1 system is off by a document after conversion finding the record without the ID is VERY difficult.

  11. Easier Hotfix Installation

    With the introduction of DW 7, the new way to install a hotfix is to basically reinstall the entire DocuWare environment with a fancy setup. Sadly, this takes a long time (compared to just replacing the neccessary files as before). Hotfix installation now takes the same amount of time like an Upgrade to a newer version.
    Worst thing: Every hotfix installation for Fulltext Server now breaks On-Premise Intelligent Indexing which needs to be fixed manually after the installation. Can we please get a way which does not break more things than it fixes?

  12. Aktualisierungsintervall Taskliste einstellbar

    Aktuell könnenTasklisten entweder manuell oder automatisch aktualisiert werden. Wenn im Hintergrund häufige oder längere Autoindex-Jobs laufen, die die Dokumente verändern, aktualisiert sich die Taskliste permanent und blockiert damit den gesamten Client. Ein einstellbares Aktualisierungsintervall würde dies verhindern ohne komplett auf manuelle Aktualisierung umstellen zu müssen.

  13. Date as Match Code in DW6.11 Autoindex

    Prior to DW6.11, index fields of type date would appear as options for match codes. In DW6.11 date fields no longer appear in the file cabinet's list to be chosen for matching to other values, in file cabinets or databases. This needs to be restored, that is:

  14. Ich schlage vor den Autoindex mit DocuWare-Online...

    soweit zu erweitern wie im On-Premise-Bereich. Sprich, dass auch das schreiben aus DocuWare-Online zu einer anderen z.B. Datenbank möglich wird.

  15. Improve the website so that its a click to open the panel

    The current Docuware website is horrible to navigate around if you know where you are going.

    As an example, if you move to select the registered member menu (the 2 faces) but accidently clip the 'why Docuware / call / email' panel.
    The why docuware panel opens, and then obscures the 'registered memeber' menu options when they appear.

    you then have the move back down, close that box, then move the mouse back up the screen while avoiding all the popout areas.

    Very Frustrating

  16. Allow a form to prepopulate with a form submitted previously

    We have enrollments annually. These enrollments are on a form with about a dozen merge forms. It would be nice if I could use the data from last year to populate the form for this year so that only changes need to be made rather than entering all the data again.

    Thank you for your contribution.

    Your requirement should be achievable with the new Pre-fill Form feature, available in version 7.13. This feature allows users to save their inputs by clicking "copy form link" button. Bookmark the link; all saved inputs will auto-populate when the link is reopened.

  17. Only Show Received Requests Tab When There Are Tasks

    Since 7.9, the 'Receive requests" tab shows up even if there are no tasks in it. This is annoying when everyone is trying to keep their Tasks clear.

    Clients are requesting authentication via alternative methods, e.g. SAML2 and OKTA. Without this DocuWare is not a viable solution for them. Is there an expected timeframe for implementing this?

  20. Add ability to search and display system indexes
