Bring back the Session Time Out Feature to DocuWare Webclient - Serious Security Issue
This is a serious security issue and almost all of our clients are complaining about not being able to automatically sign out of the system!

Multi-factor login authentication as a security option
It would be nice to be able to have a multi-factor login authentication as a security option. We have users who work in DocuWare while they are on the road and it would be nice to toggle this feature on/off per user as an extra layer of security.

Mandatory should be made a property of a store dialog
This was marked as complete in 6.9 under "Mandatory fileds" idea, but I do not see it available. It appears that field can't be empty is still a property of the FC profile which means it is the same for all store dialogs.
I'd like to be able to make field compulsory for some dialogs, but not others, For example when user stores Invoices using 'Store Invoices' store dialog the field be 'can't be empty' but when using another store dialog this field is optional.

Do not include read only indexes from workflow form on stamp.
Displaying instructions and read only index fields on the form is convenient, but when using a stamp these fields are included in the stamp making the stamp too large. The values haven’t changed and don’t need to be in the stamp.

HTTP Documentation for REST API
Release a Documentation on HTTP layer for the REST API described at http://help.docuware.com/sdk/platform/html/66b2ed1e-2aef-452a-97cd-5014bbf0242b.htm.
The DocuWare Knowledge Center states about the release of Docuware 6.8:
With the release of the REST interface "DocuWare Platform Service" the communication between DocuWare and costum application is remodeled. Ultimately, the applications must be updated to use the new interface.
However, the documentation at its current state does only describe a .NET librabry that wraps the REST API.Providing a documentation of the underlying HTTP interface will eliminate the need for DocuWare to develop such a wrapper for a programming language in order to support…

Allow sequencing of indexes in window
When I am in a workflow task and click the 'Show index entries' tool in the tool box, the list of indexes in the resulting box only shows indexes that are populated for this document they are also read only. This is nice. However, the sequence of the indexes in the window is random. I need to be able to control the sequence of the indexes for better usability.

Split Shortcut Key Missing!
Since upgrading from 6.1 to 6.6, our indexing department's efficiency is dramatically reduced due to what I would call a tremendous oversight on the part of DocuWare with the removal of critical shortcut keys such as, document splitting.
We receive in excess of 20,000 medical documents per day that require indexing and for our Health Information Technicians to have to move the mouse and click an icon each time they need to split up a 300-page chart note is not only cumbersome, but a health hazard unto itself--think carpal tunnel.

Pro Active hotfix pack installation
It is consensual that the HFpacks should be installed.
Instead of spending a lot of time (and the need to remember to do it) looking for the latest HFpack, it would be very nice that regularly DW could show, somehow, even in the administrator, that a new HFpack is available.
Then the administrator could decide when to install it.
To the eyes of the customer this would make DW look a lot friendlier.18 votesThank you for your idea.

When you download DocuWare Version 7 from DocuWare it is ensured that you receive the latest Version with all Hotfixes.

Make the option "Add wildcard to the search" also available for Select Lists.
It would be useful to have this option as for search masks.
This would make it easier to filter the values in the list.

Wenn Email durch das System versendet werden sieht der Empfänger immer die Emailadresse vom DW System, es wäre viel schöner wenn man diese Adresse anpassen könnte.

REST API Example
It would be nice to see an example on how to do an simple login using the "REST API" in PHP(curl) or jQuery(Ajax)
Please don't point me to documentation as it is poorly documented....

Option to disable "Received requests" in My tasks
There should be an option to disable "Received requests" in My tasks. We disabled the option "Send requests" in result lists for users but they still see the button which is useless for them.

The "Received Requests" tab will only be visible if there is at least 1 request.

Workflow Formular-Felder selektiv für einen Stempel ein- und ausblenden
Aktuell ist es so, dass alle Formularfelder einer Workflow-Entscheidung beim Setzen eines Stempels auf dem Dokument mitgegeben werden. Man sollte pro Feld einstellen können, ob es im Stempel sichtbar sein soll oder nicht.

Allow column orders to be changed in table fields.
In edit index entries or storing a new document once a table field is created there is no way to change the order of columns that the user works with. So when the administrator is told "I need a table fields with columns x,y, and z" and what the user really wanted was columns listed on the screen as y,z,x It requires recreating the entire table to do it.

Right-click copy/paste function in dialogs.
Users should have the ability to right-click copy/paste within all dialogs. Some end users are unaware of the Ctrl+V/C method which leads to frustration. Having the traditional method would make things easier for some users.
