  1. Disabling Tutorial on startup for all users

    Please allow administrators to disable tutorial on start-up in 6.9
    This is so annoying for existing users.
    Please implement as a Hot-Fix ASAP

  2. Tutorial global deaktivieren

    Die Möglichkeit zu geben das in Docuware 6.9 eingeführte Tutorial global für alle User zu deaktivieren.

    Für unsere User ist es vollkommen uninteressant und in unserer Konstellation wird leider die Auswahl des Nutzers nicht gespeichert und es somit bei jedem Start erneut angezeigt.
    (Mehrere Terminalserver, neues User Profil bei Anmeldung, löschen des Profils bei Abmeldung)

  3. automatische Logout bei inaktivität

    Es sollte möglich sein ein automatischen Logout von Nutzer einzustellen, die eine bestimmte (definierbare) Zeit keine Abfragen im Webclient durchgeführt haben.

    Mann sollte die Option einer Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung einrichten um die Sicherheit beim Login zu erhöhen.Am besten über Google Authentificator, Authy oder mittels sms tan.

  5. Make DocuWare support SAML/(Azure) AD/LDAP/SSO in order to be more GDPR compliant

    Dutch customers want to have a better and more secure way to login to the DocuWare client. Although DocuWare says it's GDPR compliant, it's the way customers use DocuWare that requires a more secure way of logging in.

    f.e.

    SAML/SSO: This way people can use a identity provider instead of local users. Authentication of logging in will be done by de iDP (f.e. Topicus KeyHub).

    (Azure) AD/LDAP: This way user sync can be done from 1 central point and then users can be disabled within AD.

    Thank you for your idea. We decided to support OpenID Connect, so we are not considering SAML at the moment. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.

    Single Sign-On with Azure Active Directory via OpenID Connect is available starting with DocuWare Cloud version 7.3.

  6. Change Password at Next Login

    It would be incredibly handy to have a feature similar to Windows where a DocuWare administrator could change a password for an end user, and then have that user prompted to change password at next login.

  7. LDAP Connection with DocuWare Cloud service

    We have just signed a DocuWare Cloud Professional project and we discovered that is not possible to connect DocuWare Cloud with an LDAP server. In projects with a big number users is essential to have this feature...
    That's my idea, developing the possibility to connect DW Cloud with an LDAP server.

  9. Benutzadministration: Benutzer filtern

    Bei mehreren Hundert oder Tausend Benutzern wird der Benutzeradministrations-Dialog ziemlich unübersichtlich . Diese sollte alphabetisch z.B. nach A, B, C gefiltert werden können.

  10. Lizenzenverbrauch

    Es wäre schön wenn man eine Meldung einbauen könnte in der Lizenzenverbrauch angezeigt wird. Damit der User, falls er nicht reinkommt, sieht von wem grad die Lizenzen in Gebrauch sind.

    Der Lizenzverbrauch wird in der Administration mit 6.7 ersichtlich.

  11. Update Service für Benutzer mit eingeschränkten Rechten

    Gerade für DocuWare Online wäre Update Service der Desktop Apps für Benutzer mit eingeschränkten Rechten sehr hilfreich. Aufgrund der Update Frequenz und der fehlenden Kontrolle über die Bereitstellung von Updates ist die Softwareverteilung mit erhöhtem Aufwand verbunden.
    Der Service sollte unter dem lokalen System Konto laufen und Benutzer bei vorliegenden Aktualisierungen informieren und diese installieren. Als Bespiel sind Browser wie Firefox zu nennen (Mozilla Maintenance Service).

  12. Generate report of licensed users

    If a customer wants a list of licensed users, we need to manually write them down from the list of sometimes hundreds of licensed users in Configurations. We can't copy paste the users, and we can't generate a spreadsheet of them either.

    Active Directory synchronization should sync DocuWare user account status: change status in AD to "disabled" should deselect DocuWare user account "active" status and release the corresponding named seat license, if assigned.

    Starting with DocuWare 7, there will be a new DocuWare Installation package for each Hotfix.
    When you download DocuWare Version 7 from DocuWare it is ensured that you receive the latest Version with all Hotfixes.
    Further information will follow in a PartnerInfo from DocuWare and on our Supportpages.

  15. Remove Organization box from web client login.

    When logging into the web client a user is prompted for organization, user name and password. Please remove the organization name or allow for a default organization. The users constantly try to put an organization into the box and it fails to login.

  16. Arabic Language support in OCR (Intelligent indexing)

    Because Clients are archiving and dealing with a Huge amount of Documents that are in Arabic Language
    specially in GCC.
    I strongly recommend that you could include Arabic Language support in OCR (Intelligent indexing).

  17. Allow to modify Docuware assigned groups via Active Directory

    As it stands the synchronization only allows to sync newly created users. Existing users cannot be modified via Sync, therefore you can not change the access via AD or modify the name or status. I understand the limitation for users created manually, but users created via Sync should have the capacity to be modified via sync as well. The current procedure to be able to modify a user is to delete it from docuware and run a new sync to be recreated. This is no practical for many reasons including the loss of user configurations and AD not matching what…

  18. Für Verwaltungsaufgaben am DocuWare Benutzer Powershell Commandlets zur Verfügung stehen. Z.B. ein New-DocuwareUser wäre echt pfiffig.

  19. Alle Spalten (Gesperrt und Aktiv) der Benutzerverwaltung sortierbar machen

    Aktuell ist es nicht möglich die Spalten "Gesperrt" und "Aktiv" zu sortieren. Dies wäre allerdings sehr hilfreich. Bitte die Spalten auch sortierbar hinterlegen.

  20. Allow password expiration override on individual users

    I have been advised that password expiration days is system wide. I would like to override specific users such that their password never expire. Example scenario includes user accounts intended for forms processing, workflow processing, import processing, API, and other "Service" type non-interactive accounts.
