Multiple file documentation
It would be great if you could check mark several deals and be able to title complete all at once. The same thing with printing, if you could place a check mark next to the one you want to print and then print that would be great. Kind of the same way one would share documents on a Android Phone.

Datensatz durch Workflow erstellen
Es sollte möglich sein, durch einen Workflow Datensätze im Archiv zu erstellen. Über einen Autoindex ist dies bereits möglich, der Workflow ist aber flexibler. So könnten zusätzliche Szenarien mit dem Workflow abgebildet werden.
2 votesMit Version 7.9 kann man im Workflow die DocuWare eigene REST-API nutzen.
Von dort lassen sich auch Datensätze erstellen.

Beschriftungen von Tabellen (Datenbankfelder) in Dialogen anpassbar.
In Dialogen sollten die Beschriftungen/Anzeigenamen von Tabellen (Datenbankfelder) sprachlich angepasst werden können analog zu den übrigen Datenbankfeldern.

When working in Workflow Designer, it would be nice to be able to open 2 workflows at a time.
Sometimes i need to reference another workflow that i have created and it would be easier if i were able to open them side by side instead of having to go back and forth between the 2.

Workflow - Selecting multiple task to assign a new user
When a new user replace an old one, changing all the assignement of running task can only be done one by one.
It could be good that the Workflow controler can change all the task of running job to a new user by a mulitple selection in WebViewer or a specific menu in Designer.2 votesThank you for your contribution. Your idea has been made available with version 7.1.

Im Workflowmanager ist bei einer Neuzuweisung einer Aktivität
die Auswahlliste der Mitarbeiter nicht sortiert, bzw. kann auch nicht per Tastatureingabe gesucht werden.Dies ist unbedingt notwendig.

Allow workflow global variables in SQL query to retreive external data.
I'm not sure if this is a formatting issue, a bug, or simply unavailable but when building a "where clause" in a workflow for assigning data from external data, I select a workflow global variable as the comparison but it always returns null.
Example: ENTRYTYPE="PROJECT" and PROJECTNAME=GV_gProject
However, if I simply replace "GV_gProject" with the actual hard coded string, the result is correct, so it the query is correct but the GV is not being placed into the query it would seem.
Because the wizard provides access to the global variables, this should function.
For the time being…

Improve use of Workflow System Variables
1) Create a workflow in Workflow Designer.
2) Specify a trigger (it doesn’t matter what it is).
3) Insert an ASSIGN TO activity and assign the task to user ID "A".
4) Insert an ASSIGN DATA activity and set a file cabinet index field to the Workflow System Variable “Assigned to”.
The index field should now contain the user ID "A" assigned in step 3. However, the index field is empty.
5) Insert a TASK activity. In the Decisions tab, Assign to sub-tab, assign the next user to "B".
6) Insert an ASSIGN DATA activity and set the same file…2 votesThis should be somewhat solved with version 6.9. Both issues (after step 4 and after step 7) could not be reproduced by me. We know, that CurrentUser has some drawbacks, but some customers use it like it is and if we change the behavior, it will break their workflows. Recommendation for getting the user of the currently opened task is to use the variable “TaskUser” which is new with version 6.9.

The "assign to" allows to use variable only for one user
The "assign to" allows to use variable only for one user.
If you want to assign tasks dynamically to multiple users or role, you need to use a task but it is not practical.
To dispatch tasks in the beginning of a workflow we do not want a task for doing that.
We should use "assign to" with variable more complexe like 'role' or 'keyword' like in the task

Die Email durch eine Variable bzw Indexfeld verschicken
Der DWPrinter liest das Datum und Email-Adresse aus einem Formular aus und legt das Dokument danach in das Archiv. Danach startet der Workflow der überprüft wann das Dokument ein gewisses Datum erreicht hat, wenn dieses Datum erreicht ist sollte eine Email an die Adresse die vorher ausgelesen wurde verschickt werden.

Multiple selection for select list in Workflow Manager
In many cases user should be able to select more than one entry from a select list. For example multiple order numbers. These numbers will not be used for assignment, they just have to be stamped to the document. For use cases like this, we need to be able to select multiple entries in a normal select list.

Workflow stamps: restore support for 6 pt font size in the Web Workflow Designer
In the new Web Workflow Designer, the minimum selectable font size for workflow stamps is 8 pt.
This is a regression compared with existing workflow configurations, where smaller font sizes such as 6 pt are supported and rendered correctly.
We have verified that:
an exported workflow containing fontSize: 6 can be imported successfully;
the Web Workflow Designer accepts the workflow;
the workflow stamp is rendered correctly at 6 pt;
however, the UI itself does not allow selecting 6 pt when editing the stamp settings, because the minimum selectable value is 8 pt.This is particularly problematic for workflow stamps containing…

Es wäre prima, wenn man über eine Autoindex Konfiguration auch Systemfelder als Quelle verwenden könnte.

Multiple/Bulk Invoice Approval
We just ugraded Docuware where tables are added to show GL Code, Cost Center, Amount per line item for each invoice. Old version Docuware allowed Approvers to select multiple/bulk invoices to be approved at once.
We need the same functionality to the newly upgraded version of docuware.
1 voteThere has nothing changed for the functionality, if the tasks are the same and can be approved together. Only if the different documents are in different tasks or need different input each, then you cannot approve them together.

Summe berechnen in Tabellenfeldern abschalten
Bei den Ablagedialogen kann man für Tabellenfelder das Berechnen der Summe abschalten. Nutzt man dieselben Tabellenfelder in einem Workflow, so kann man hier die Summe nicht abschalten. Das ist inkonsequent und führt bei Mengenangaben, nicht zu summierenden Einzelbeträgen etc. zu einer unschönen Darstellung.

Möglichkeit einen automatischen Refresh in den Workflow Tasks einzurichten
Wenn ein User im Webclient einen Task bekommt sollte es eine Möglichkeit geben, dass es für den User ersichtlich ist, dass er/sie einen neuen Task bekommen hat (ohne die Seite neu zu laden)

Wenn ein Benutzer eine Aufgabe zugewiesen bekommt, während der Web Client geöffnet ist, ändert sich die Anzeige der offenen Aufgaben von gelb auf rot. Falls der Benutzer vorher keine Aufgabe hatte, dann erscheint direkt eine rote Benachrichtigung.

Übernahme/Übergabe von Table Fields innerhalb eines Workflows
Es gibt dazu zwei Ideen:
- Über ein DW Hilfsarchiv legt sich der Kunde eine KONTIERUNGSVORLAGE an. Solche Vorlagen haben u.a. als DB-Feld ein TableField mit etlichen Datenfeldern (Kostenstelle, Gegenkonto, Objektnummer, Abgrenzung ja/nein usw...)
Im Rahmen eines Rechnungsprüfungsprozesses kann der User innerhalb einer Aufgabe nun eine Kontierungsvorlage auswählen.
Der Workflow schaut daraufhin ins Hilfsarchiv und zieht sich von dort aus sämtliche TableField Daten und schreibt diese ins TableField der Rechnung.- Abgleich mit Bestellungen innerhalb einer Aufgabe Wenn z.B. die eigene Ausgangsbestellung schon im Archiv vorliegt und die Positionen in einem TableField erfasst wurden, wäre es toll, wenn man nun innerhalb einer…

Add a 'filter' view to the workflow task list (or a second level of grouping for tasks)
This idea was sent to my by a customer: It would be great if we could have 2 level of organization for the task. If you had a primary name and a secondary name DW could display all tasks with the primary name in one tab and when you click on it, you would have a drop down of all secondary names.
