create a pause or wait function in workflow.
When something causes a lot of documents to start a workflow that send a mail message at the same time the mail server starts rejecting connections. This notably happens with pay stub notifications sent to employees that their pay stub is available. I can get around this by creating several workflows and start the workflow based alphabetically by the employees name but it would be nice if I could just set one workflow to pause a certain number of seconds before continuing based on the employee name.

add option in activity "send an email": join pdf with annotation
Hello,
We'd like to send email with annotation (we created a stamp with a bitmap signature ).

Genehmigungsworkflows
Wir würden DocuWare gerne für verschiedene Workflows nutzen. Das ist allerdings in der derzeitigen Umgebung unseres Wissenstandes nach nicht so ohne weiteres möglich. Es wäre super, wenn es einfach eine Möglichkeit geben würde, ein Dokument zu nehmen, dieses an eine definierte Anzahl von Genehmigern zu schicken, wobei diese dann entweder parallel oder auf Basis einer Reihenfolge genehmigen. Vielleicht könnte man sich mal an der Software Docusign orientieren, die eine solche Lösung nur halt ohne Archivierung bietet.
Ein solches Tool würde den Nutzungsrahmen von DocuWare für uns nochmal deutlich erweitern.1 voteVielen Dank für Ihren Beitrag. Diese Funktionalität ist mit DocuWare Workflow Manager verfügbar.

I suggest that you provide the ability to change and save the wording in the Subject and Text fields of the Send Request Command.
Have the ability to allow users to save wording in the Subject and text fields on the Send Request command. This can will give some rationalization for user/groups and flexibility to there responsibilities.

Massapproval
Mass approval or Massengenehmigung im Workflow erwünscht. Wenn eine Reihe von Dokumente zur Genehmigung anstehen und diese ausreichend bekannt sind, wäre eine Massengenehmigung erwünscht.

Aufgabe senden - Link per mail
Wenn ich eine zugewiesene Aufgabe an jemand anderen weiterleite, bekommt dieser nicht mehr den Link zur Aufgabe zugeschickt.
Dies war bei Version 6.11 noch möglich.
Bei Version 7 leider nicht.

Include Link to Task when Reassigning Workflow Item
As a manager in a company with a lot of workflow process I often reassign workflow tasks to my delegates in the web client by using the right click option to "Reassign Task". I really like that this option by default automatically sends an email to my delegate, however that email does not contain a link to the item. For my delegates it would be very useful if the reminder email could include a link to the workflow task that I am reassigning to them.

Workflows: Changes to Workflow creates new list tab
We have workflow lifecycle that runs for about 6 or more months, if there is a problem with the workflow, we correct it, then it creates a new workflow version, leaving the "faulty" workflows in the flawed workflow,
it would be nice to migrate these workflows into the corrected workflow, the other issue it creates same named tabs for each version with active workflows, now we have 6 versions, 6 tabs in the user tasks and no way to distinguish the workflow version, also the user is not able to stop workflow and the workflow docid is not visible at…1 voteThank you for your contribution.

Message Task
Within the Webclient, in the viewer, Create a means where you could send a message with the document link to another docuware user with a short message, almost like a mini user definable workflow as Task. This is not a formalised workflow as in the case of the workflow designer, these are one off type workflows.

Allow external data DB connection
From 6.10 we are able to connect DocuWare to an external DB using Select list and Autoindex but not from Workflow. Could be very interesting also faster for the process if we can change data at the moment.

Select List only in Stamps
In 6.9 the ability to limit entries to Select List only in Stamps was taken away. For example, if you have an Assign To stamp, you cannot limit entries in the stamp to only usernames. Users can now type whatever they like in the Assign To field in the stamp. This could lead to Invoices assigned to 'John' instead of 'JSmith'. This would lead to Invoices dropping out of the workflow.

In Workflow Designer could you please make so you can move the Form Fields up or down
When creating Tasks, under decisions and the Forms Tab, there currently is no way to move the fields up or down to put them in a different order. This creates issues if later someone wants to add new fields but put them in a specific order you would have to delete them all and start fresh.

Advanced sorting in workflow
simple sorting functionality is not working in the task windows - this makes processing extremely difficult.

In der Anzeige der Aufgabenliste sollte es möglich sein, weitere Felder aus dem Archiv anzuzeigen
Bei einer großen Anzahl von Aufgaben im Workflow wäre es wünschenswert in der Aufgabenliste weitere Felder aus dem Archiv anzeigen zu können. Damit könnten die einzelnen Aufgaben besser identifiziert werden - man braucht nicht jede Aufgabe zu öffnen um die priorisierte Aufgabe zu finden

Im Workflow-Manager mit Externen Daten andere Felder füllen bei "Daten zuweisen"
ich vermisse im WF-Manager die Möglichkeit einem Dokument Metadaten zuweisen zu könnten, ohne dass der Anwender diese Daten manuell eingeben muss, weil diese klar sind - ein Art sofortiger Autoindex mittels SQL-Query also.(Oder Index vervollständigen).
Konkreter: Ich wünsche mir "Externe Daten "als zusätzlichen Menüpunkt als Datenquelle bei "Daten zuweisen"1 voteDiese Funktion wird mit 6.7 möglich!

Im Workflow Manager die Möglichkeit besteht Felder zu leeren
Im WF Manager (6.6) innerhalb einer Entscheidung habe ich bei den Zuweisungen keine Möglichkeit gefunden einem Feld den festen Eintrag <leer> zuzuweisen - es wird als Fehler dargestellt.
Die Option "Feld leeren" anstelle "fester Eintrag" würde ich mir wünschen, wenn schon leere Feldzuweisungen nicht erlaubt sind und ein Leerzeichen wollte ich in den Feldern nicht stehen haben, ehr ein "NULL", wenn man in die DB sieht - ggf. kann aber auch ein "" gewollt sein - vielleicht geht ja beides.1 voteVielen Dank für Ihren Beitrag.
