Servervariante des DWPrinters
Es sollte eine Möglichkeit geben den DocuWare Printer zentral am Server laufen zu lassen (ohne offene Session), so wie das auch beim TIFFMAKER möglich war.
Dann könnte man per Serverdienst Drucke erzeugen lassen, die über DocuWare Control automatisiert im Archiv abgelegt werden.96 votes -
Unterstützung von Mac OS X
Wünschenswert wäre eine native Unterstützung von Mac OS X.
Die Ausrichtung auf Web ist toll, allerdings wird ein vernünftiges Arbeiten nur mit den Desktop Apps (z.B. Edit & Send) und Connect to Outlook möglich.
Diese sind reine Windows Applikationen und schränken somit die Mac Umgebung auf reines Suchen ein.92 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee.

Automatically update the Desktop Apps
I have many users that don't always notice when they have pending Desktop Apps updates and end up putting in support tickets for issues the update would resolve. Can you provide an option at least for the updates to install automatically?
47 votesThank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

DocuWare Printer: Mehrere DocuWare Printer pro Client
Aufgrund verschiedener Druckerkonfigurationen sollte es möglich sein, mehrere DocuWare Printer pro Client installieren und konfigurieren zu können.
Szenario:
Aus der Branchensoftware X sollen alle Belege an einen physischen Drucker gesendet und gleichzeitig in den DocuWare Briefkorb abgelegt werden. Hierzu sollte aber nicht für jede Dokumentart eine Konfiguration erstellt werden müssen (wie es momentan der Fall ist), da der physische Drucker direkt hinter dem DocuWare Printer hinterlegt werden kann.

Give more print setting functionality to DocuWare Printer
DocuWare Printer prints in color by default. Many occasions a black print would be much better and also less costly in file size. Give us an option to control the color options in the default printer settings. We are having quality issues with DocuWare Printer compared to the old TiffMaker. We are also running into file size issues because documents are printing in color and they are too large to email if we want to distribute outside of DocuWare.

Have SmartConnect recognize apps by screen-scraping.
So many applications, especially the web-based packages that are so prevalent these days, don't change their window name as the user navigates through them. This is reducing the effectiveness of SmartConnect because it's growing more and more unable to recognize where/when to place buttons. If we could include a hot zone that it would look at, much like it does when auto-populating index fields, to help it decide when/where to show buttons that would maintain SmartConnects forward-compatibility.

Eine NOT Funktion bei der DocuWare Printer Konfiguration
Wir haben die Herausforderung, dass Ausgangsrechnungen je nach Empfänger anders behandelt werden müssen.
Also wenn auf der Rechnung "Empfänger 1" steht soll die Printer Konfiguration 1 verwendet werden. Bei allen anderen Empfängern soll die Konfiguration 2 verwendet werden.
Bedingung Identifizierung der Konfiguration 1:
Wenn auf dem Dokument Ausgangsrechnung steht UND Wenn
Empfänger 1 drauf steht.Bedingung Identifizierung der Konfiguration 2:
Wenn auf dem Dokument Ausgangsrechnung steht.Bei dieser Konstellation kommt die automatische Erkennung der Printer Konfiguration an seine Grenzen. Wenn jetzt eine Rechnung mit dem Empfänger 1 gedruckt wird, kommt die Meldung dass 2 Konfigurationen gefunden wurden. Es steht ja…

Reihenfolge der Ausdrucke beibehalten
Es soll sichergestellt werden, dass Druckaufträge nacheinander verarbeitet und an den physikalischen Drucker weitergeleitet werden. FIFO Prinzip!
Aktuell werden Ausdrucke durcheinander ins Archiv und am physikalischen Drucker gedruckt.25 votes -
Enhance "document splitting" in DW Import to allow splitting on multiple readoutareas when 1 "OR" the other changes, not just "AND"
I would like to be able to split a report based on multiple pieces of data, when either 1 or the other changes. For example, a document containing a batch or "purchase orders from the customer" that is sorted by "customer #" and then "customer purchase order". A customer may have sent in multiple POs in the batch. It is always possible that 2 different customers could send in the same purchase order number in the same batch.

Backward Compatibility
If you support multiple DW environments, you're bound to get caught in between versions of Cloud. Half your customers on the older version, half on the newer version, and whichever one you're working on will inevitably be the wrong version of Desktop Apps. Wouldn't it be great if the latest version was backward compatible? I think so.

Provide dark mode for all DocuWare client applications
Especially, if dark mode is activated in Windows 10 it would be really great to be able to switch all DocuWare client applications to dark mode as well.

Offline Synchronisation ausgewählter Ordner
Wie man es bereits aus Cloud-Diensten kennt, sollte es eine Möglichkeit der Offline-Synchronisation auch beim DocuWare Windows Explorer Client geben. (Sowohl bei der Cloud, als auch bei der on premise Lösung). Um diese Funktionalität zu haben, muss oft noch parallel mit z. B. One Drive gearbeitet werden.

Gruppierung nach Datum im Windows Explorer Client
Wir nutzen aus dem alten Windows Client die Baumansicht welche nach dem Ablagedatum gruppiert ist. Leider ist die Gruppierung nach Datum und Integer Werten im Windows Explorer Client nicht möglich. Dieses sollte aber recht leicht wieder zu implementieren sein.

DocuWare Printer weiter drucken
Der Anwender soll die Möglichkeit haben, selbst zu bestimmen, ob das Dokument weiter gedruckt werden soll oder nur im Archiv/Briefkorb landet.
Über eine Konfiguration ist dies nicht möglich, da es kein Unterscheidungskriterium für den Weiterdruck gibt.JEtzt muss also zweimal gedruckt werden (Beim Tiffmaker gab es dafür zwei verschiedene Druckkonfigurationen)

Allow to search across cabinets with Smart Connect
At the moment smart search is restricted to search in a single cabinet. Being the cabinet you select when you configure smart search. For us it would be great to press the Docuware button and to be able to search across multiple cabinets.

Add Driveletter to the DocuWare Explorer Client
If a driveletter could be assigned the DocuWare explorer client, shortcuts could be created and it would be showed as a normal drive, it would be easier for the customers and you could use scripting to transfer files and so on. It would not differ from a normal drive.

Clean Wipe Tool
Be great to have a clean wipe tool to help with upgrade/reinstallation problems due to corrupted installs on client machines. This can often be very time consuming when problems arise and be great to have a tool to fully do a clean uninstall of the Desktop Apps (remove all file locations and registry items).

Ein Export von PDFs nach Trennung und wahlweise mit oder ohne ZUGFeRD-Inhalt wäre hier aus unserer Sicht genauso interessant:
