1. Connect to Outlook - Auswahl welche Anlagen gespeichert werden

   Kunden bekommen oft Emails von Lieferanten wo gleich mehrere einzelne Aufträge mitgeschickt werden. Diese Attachments sind dann pro Projektnummer einzeln ab zu legen. Hierzu wäre es gut, wenn man in DW die Möglichkeit hätte aus zu wählen welches Attachment jetzt gespeichert werden sollte.

   Wir arbeiten derzeit nicht an dieser Funktionalität.
   Allerdings bietet Connect to Outlook und Connect to mail ab der DocuWare Version 7.3 die Möglichkeit Anhänge getrennt von einander abzulegen. Sie können damit eine Mail mit fünf Anhängen in sechs Dokumente in DocuWare aufteilen.

   Über einen Rechtsklick auf den Anhang in Outlook können ausserdem jeweils einzelne Anhänge abgelegt werden

2. Connect to Outlook - Einträge beibehalten

   Oft kommt es vor, dass mehrere E-Mails zu einem Thema abgelegt werden z.B. Schriftverkehr bezüglich eines Projekts oder Schriftverkehr DocuWare Tickets ;).
   Hier wäre es eine Zeitersparnis, wenn man die Einträge beibehalten könnte.

3. Connect to Outlook: Process Downloaded Attachments through an Import Configuration

   Often "standardised" documents are received in an email inbox. currently there is no seamless method to run these documents through a pre-configured import configuration to identify, split and autoindex the document. Currently Emails, Attachments and/or Emails+Attachments can only be stored in a Tray or Cabinet, thus missing the processing advantage.

   thank you very much for your input. We are going to discuss and evaluate this idea.

   Right now – even if it is not seamless – you can already use the DocuWare Import functionality if you drag and drop Attachments/E-Mails to an Import folder or use the “Store As” function from Outlook.

4. Connect to Outlook Mails aus öffentliche Ordner archivieren

   Mit Connect to Outlook sollte es auch möglich sein, öffentliche Ordner zu überwachen und deren Mails zu archivieren. So könnte man zentral verschiedene E-Mailadressen anlegen, deren Rechte verwalten und sicherstellen, dass auch alles archiviert wird. Für jede E-Mailadresse ein Postfach anlegen schein mir nicht sehr praktikabel

5. Allow drag and drop to Outlook e-mails for sending documents

   I get a lot of requests from users that would like the option to drag and drop documents from the DocuWare webclient (i.e. from a search result) directly into an Outlook e-mail.

   Currently, the only option is to right click and Send by E-mail. However this option creates a new, empty, e-mail and freezes up the whole Outlook client until the e-mail is sent. This renders our users unable to respond to document requests or to attach documents into ongoing conversations - which is the case most of the time when a document is needed.

   Thank you for your idea. 

   Right now, there is no possibility to change this behavior. DocuWare is using a system functionality from Windows to send an email. Outlook is blocking access to the main window when using this system functionality.

6. Outlook wird bei teilen per E-Mail gesperrt

   Wenn über die Funktion per E-Mail teilen ein oder mehrere Dokumente verschickt werden sollen, dann öffnet sich ein neues Mail Fenster (bei uns und den meisten Kunden Outlook). Leider blockiert dieses Fenster das komplette Outlook und es kann nichts anderes gemacht werden. Das sollte doch definitiv 2023 besser zu lösen sein?!

   Für einige unserer Kunden ist es ein kritisches Problem, da hier viele Dokumente verschickt werden müssen und der Umweg über Download und selber eine neue E-Mail erstellen einige Klicks mehr erforderlich macht als nötig.

   Die Ordnerüberwachung von Connect to Outlook sollte auch für freigegebenen Postfächer funktionieren.
   Die Funktion wird unnötig eingeschränkt, wenn es nur für das Haupt- bzw. Benutzerpostfach funktioniert.

8. Add an "Attach from DocuWare" button to the Outlook Ribbon

   In Connect to Outlook, there is no way to search for a document when replying to an e-mail. For example: If I receive an e-mail from a customer requesting a copy of their contract. I click “reply” to this e-mail but the only way to attach the contract is to have a Windows Explorer search tree establish. However, using the Windows Explorer tree view is dependent on me knowing exactly where the contract is located in the folder structure, or which version of the contract is the correct one.

   If I don’t know exactly where to find it in the Windows Explorer tree view then I need to search for the document. To locate the document I must open the web browser, find the document through the Docuware interface, download it to my desktop and then attach it from the desktop when I reply to the e-mail. This is cumbersome and time-consuming.

   It would be better if there were a way to search Docuware to attach a file when replying to an e-mail from within Outlook. Perhaps there is an “Attach from DocuWare” button added to the Outlook ribbon that would open a search dialog wherein one could enter the search criteria, locate a document and attach either the document itself (with or without annotation) or insert a link to the document (for internal replies).

   I appreciate your consideration.

9. Automatisches Indexieren und Ablegen mit Connect to Outlook - fehlende Regeln

   Ziel:
   
   Vollautomatische Ablage von per Mail versandte Bestellungen.

   Werkzeuge:
   Connect to Outlook: Ablage Konfiguration -> Speicherziel -> automatische Indexierung
   Outlook Ordner: Bestellungen gesendet Docuware -> automatische Ablage bei Inhalt

   Fehlende Funktion:
   Logisch definiertes Einlesen eines Teils einer Zeichenkette (Zeichen aus einer Auswahl, like Regex)

   Beispiel (Standardisierte Ablage per E-Mail versandter Bestellungen)

   Inhalt Outlook Betreffzeile:

   • Bestellung Nr. 368 / 4512068652 - EILT ! DANKE
   • Bestellung Nr. 368 / 4512068657

   Es fehlt die Möglichkeit auf Grund von einfachen Regeln / Parametern eine intelligente Lösung in der Ablage Konfiguration zum Beispiel nur die Bestellnummer (45120XXXXX) automatisch zu übernehmen.
   z.B.
   Indexwert für Bestellungen
   - nach „368 / “ 10 Stellen übernehmen, wenn die Zahl mit „4512“ beginnt

   Indexwert für Einkäufergruppe
   - nach „Bestellung Nr. “ 3 Stellen übernehmen

   Diese Funktion könnte ähnlich aufgebaut sein wie der „Rules Wizard“ in Outlook.

   Ablauf heute:

   Die per E-Mail versandten oder erhaltenden Vorgänge, werden durch eine Outlook Regel automatisch in einem der folgenden Outlook Ordner abgelegt:

   -Auftragsbestätigungen Docuware
   -Bestellungen gesendet Docuware
   -Bestellungen Material Inspection Report Docuware
   -Rechnungen Docuware
   -Serialnummern Docuware

   Im Beispiel Ablage der gesendeten Bestellungen werden die folgenden indexwerte automatisch ermittelt und eingetragen:
   - Empfänger aus E-Mail Empfänger
   - Datum aus E-Mail Datum
   - EK-Gruppe aus Festwert
   - Lieferant Name aus Docuware-Feld (Matchcode in DW Datenbank zum E-Mail Empfänger)
   - Kategorie aus Fester Wert: Bestellungen
   - Bestellnummer aus E-Mail Betreff

   Seit der DW Version 6.9 wird leider der Betreff Text aus der E-Mail automatisch auf Feldlänge gekürzt.
   „Bestellung Nr. 368 /“ , der wichtige Part „4512068657“ ist nicht mehr sichtbar und jetzt muss zusätzlich noch die Mail geöffnet werden, die Bestellnummer herauskopiert, Mail wieder geschlossen, Bestellnummer in das Indexwerte Feld kopiert und dann erst abgelegt werden…

   In der letzten DW Version habe ich nur den überflüssigen Betreff Text gelöscht und sofort abgelegt.

   Um effektiv standardisierte Abläufe zu Händeln, ist die vollautomatische Ablage von per E-Mail versandten Bestellungen in Connect to Outlook notwendig. Dafür bedarf es einfach zu erstellender intelligenter Regeln.

   Ziel:
   
   Vollautomatische Ablage von per Mail versandte Bestellungen.

10. Outlook Email Modern Component

    Please buid a Outlook Email component for Office365, so it works accross all devices. Outlook for windows, mac, ios, android web!

    Also, most IMPORTANT: ability to choose the attachments to store and in what order.

11. Connect 2 Outlook - Ability to open search in Outlook client instead of Outlook

    When using a search in Connect 2 Outlook, the list is opened in Outlook. If many results are shown, and the customer wants a better overview it could be nice to be able to open the search directly in the DocuWare Client so you have the viewer ability and a better overview.

13. Connect to Outlook: Able to Attach a Document from a Quick Search to an Email Reply

    Situation: You have an email from which you need to reply to and attach a Document From DocuWare.

    Suggestion: Rather than having to either download it or send it as a new document via the Quick Search, you should be able to pick the document and attach it directly to a specific email as an attachment. It would make it more efficient for people who use C2O and Outlook exclusively.

14. Ich schlage vor, dass Connect to Outlook nicht nur auf persönliche Kontakte zugreifen kann sondern auch auf öffentliche Ordner

    Bei Indexvervollständigen kann man zur Zeit nur auf Kontakte im persönlichen Kontakteverzeichnis zugreifen. Nutzt man jedoch Exchange und öffentliche Kontakteordner, ist eine Indexvervollständigung leider nicht automatisch möglich. Wäre aber hilfreich.

15. Connect to Outlook only stores attachments that are 1 level deep

    We often receive emails that are forwarded as attachments and those attached emails also have attachments on them. Connect to Outlook will only store the first level of attachments. We would like to see the ability to store multiple level of attachments.That way the forwarded email and also all attachments on that forwarded email are stored in Outlook.

16. Ability to select a shared/group mailbox for Connect to Outlook watched folder

    Right now, you can only configure the connection to your default mailbox. If you have a shared/group mailbox.. i.e AP mailbox, we would want the ability to select/create a watched folder within the group mailbox to track what items are pending to store.

    Bei E-Mail Ablage über Connect to Outlook sollen bei Ablage mit Option "Anhänge zuerst anzeigen" die Anhänge nach Größe sortierbar sein, und zwar der Größte zuerst. So könnte, annehmend der relevante Anhang ist die größte Datei, der relevante Anhang (das Dokument) zuerst angezeigt werden und häufig vorhandene Marketinggrafiken rückten in den Hintergrund.

18. Keep Entries or Store All for the Connect to Outlook Plugin

    When trying to store emails with a store dialog, there is no "Keep Entries" or "Store All" that functionality would be very useful when dealing with large amounts of email.

    Unfortunately we will not be able to deliver the function with 6.7 due to technical challenges and therefore had to be postponed

20. Connect to Outlook - Automatisch Smart Index ohne Ablagemaske

    Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn die Ablagen in Connect to Outlook so konfiguriert werden könnten, das der Smart Index automatisch hinterlegt ist und sich keine Ablagemaske mehr beim User öffnet.
    Vorteil: Der/ Die User müssen nur noch eine Aktion durchführen um Emails zu archivieren.
