Smart Connect
Within Smart Connect I need to be able to use it with a Crystal Report Viewer in SAGE. The Invoice number is in a field called Posting Comments. If the user clicks on the field I need to be able to pull the invoice number between the :'s. The editor icon is grayed out. It looks like I should be able to do it!
This is important because the Docuware Sales Pitch to Accounting showed several instances of searching by invoice number. The CFO made the decision to purchase based on that ability.2 votes -
Add possibility to exclude pictures in mail
It would be helpful if there was a possibility, in connect to mail, to exclude images in the corpse on the email, like signature images, that are automatically stored attached to the mail

Zu erkennende Barcodetypen sollten bei Importkonfiguration direkt auswählbar sein
Bei der Erstellung von Importkonfigurationen sollte es bei der Barcodeerkennung direkt eine Möglichkeit geben mehrere Barcodetypen die erkannt werden sollen auszuwählen bzw. nicht gewollte Barcodes abzuwählen
2 votesIn einer Import-Konfiguration kann ausgewählt werden, welcher Barcode Typ erkannt werden soll. Allerdings geht das jeweils nur mit einem Barcode.

DocuWare-Anbindung an Datev
Ich benötige eine Schnittstelle, über die Indexdaten an ein externes Programm wie z.B. Datev übergeben werden können.
Beispiel: Eingangsrechnungen -> Indexdaten wie Firma, Belegnummer, usw

Allow more than two buttons for smart connect keystroke combinations
When using smart connect it is only possible to use two keys (eg. SHIFT-P) for one configuration.
Using many smart connect configurations (or using other programs that need keystroke combinations) may cause problems finding keystroke combinations that are still available.The easiest way to solve the problem would be adding a third key , eg. SHIFT-ALT-P.

Verbindungseinstellungen für Desktop-Apps
Es sollte möglich sein, den Anmeldename in den Verbindungseinstellungen ändern zu können mit dem Ziel, dass man sich nicht automatisch mit dem Windows-Anmeldename anmeldet oder alternative weitere Verbindungen erstellen zu können, die man z.B. für die Anmeldung im Explorer-Client auswählen kann.
Alternativ wäre die Wiederherstellung der Möglichkeit zur Auswahl der Anmeldung als Docuware-Nutzer oder mit Windows-Anmeldung wie bis Version 6.5 hilfreich.2 votesAlternative Verbindungen können weiterhin über den Web Client hinzugefügt werden.

Dropdown-Felder selbständig erweiterbar sind
Wir führen über DocuWare unser Bewerbermanagement. Das System wurde vor 5 Jahren aufgesetzt und muss novelliert werden. Feldinhalte die als Dropdown-Felder hinterlegt sind, sind in der Auswahl nicht erweiterbar. Das macht das System zu starr und derzeit nahezu unverwendbar für unsere Zwecke.

Add ability to point data exports to multiple file locations.
We have multiple data exports running. It would be easier to manage if I could have the exports go to different folders to keep the reports separated by report type. It is currently limited to one folder.

Select an "Export Configuration", choose an "Output Location" and schedule the export.
The do the same for the next "Export configuration".

Docuware Import should be available as a windows service
We do not allow service accounts to login to our servers (for security purposes) so having to run Docuware Import as an application is very annoying since every time the user logs out the job stops. Everything that needs to run constantly in an "enterprise-grade' application should not be run as a windows user.

Ich schlage vor, dass Sie Ihre Software so programmieren, dass sie sauber läuft und durchgehend benutzt werden kann.
Es ist schade, dass die Nutzung dieser teuren Software immer wieder wegen irgend welcher seltsamen Fehlermeldungen erschwert wird.

Print Documents in FIFO Method
Today when documents are printed with DocuWare Printer, there will be instances where a large document is printed first follow by some small documents. The small ones will make to the tray first before the large ones, even if the large one was printed first. If you are dealing with critical documents where the sequence is very important, the current printing method breaks the sequence.
We want to be able to have an option in DocuWare printer where we can configure such method. The method FIFO (first-in/first-out). This way the ones that were printed first will get to the tray…
1 voteDue to having the best performance, the documents are processed in parallel. After all documents are processed, the order in the basket will be the same as they were printed before. Even if a smaller document overtakes the bigger one during the process, the bigger one will be presented in the end in the document tray before the smaller one. This was done in version 6.7. Pdf-Dokumente mit Acrobat bearbeiten und wieder zurückspeichern
Dokumente (ausschließlich Pdf) sollen im Adobe Acrobat zur Bearbeitung und Kommentierung geöffnet werden können. Aus Acrobat heraus sollen sie wieder in Docuware zurückgespeichert werden können (mit oder ohne Versionierung, je nach Einstellung des Archivs). Eine Anbindung wie sie zum Beispiel Dropbox bietet.
1 voteDies ist mit DocuWare möglich. Entweder nutzen Sie den Windows Explorer Client (ab Version 6.8) und öffnen die PDF Datei direkt mit Adobe Acrobat oder wählen im Web Client “Bearbeiten” aus dem Kontextmenü.

Docuware Printer soll Offline Drucke zwischenspeichern
Der Docuware Printer verliert Druckjobs, wenn die Internetverbindung gestört wird, z.B. beim Arbeiten im Zug oder beim vorschnellen Abschalten eines Notebooks. Hier sollte der Printer den Druckjob so lange vorhalten, bis er sicher abgeliefert ist.
1 voteSeit der Version 6.9 kann der DocuWare Printer (und auch Scanner und Import) kleine Unterbrechungen der Netzwerkverbindung überstehen und das Dokument verzögert im DocuWare System ablegen.
Sollte die Unterbrechung länger dauern, wird in der Historie des Desktop Fensters eine entsprechende Meldung angezeigt und der Benutzer kann die Ablage manuell nochmals starten.

Docuware Drucker im Außendienst verliert Jobs
Wir benutzen die Docuware Drucker im Aussendienst für die Übergabe von Servicebelegen. Fährt ein Techniker sein Notebook zu schnell herunter, so ist der Druckjob einfach nicht ausgeführt und wird auch nicht nachgeholt. Die fehlerlose Übertragung ist damit nicht sichergestellt. Jobs sollten bis zur einwandfreien Übertragung gespeichert bleiben im Spooler so wie bei anderen Druckertreibern auch.

Create GUI For Enabling Desktop Logging
When on phone support with Docuware technicians often need to enable logging for the Desktop Apps. Some technicians are faster than others but takes around 10-20 minutes as the technician does a backup and changes the many.config files in notepad necessary to enable logging. Additionally they fight with UAC which protects files in Program Files. Additional time is then taken to revert the desktop apps to not log. It's very time consuming for the technician and customer for something that could be as simple as checking some boxes and specifying a path in a GUI. Please consider adding this functionality…

create either a toggle or double click feature for seperating documents
instead of having to " right click, separate here" create either a button you can toggle on and off at the top that allows you to single or double click where you want to separate. or just make any double click "separate here"

I would be great to have the option to filter and search by name in the Docuware Printer Templates menu.
