1. With DW Printer, we lost the capacity to add a back printing (exist with tiffmaker)

   In tiffmaker, it was possible to add a back printing on every page.
   We lost this functionnality in the dw printer model or dw import.

   You can setup a form or letterhead in DocuWare Printer and in Import Configurations. You can find this functionality on the “Form/Letterhead” tab.

   This is already possible for Docuware Scan within Desktop Apps.
   If there are additional information why the existing implementation is not sufficient, the request will be re-evaluated again

4. Hintergrundsuche mit Smart Connect

   Wenn z.B. im ERP System eine Maske geöffnet wird, in der der Smart Connect Button vorhanden ist, wäre es sehr nützlich, daß die Suche im Hintergrund bereits ausgeführt wird. Der Button wird bei einem Treffer farblich eingefärbt. Der User kann dadurch sofort erkennen, ob es zu diesem Vorgang Dokumente in Docuware gibt oder nicht.

   Leider kann diese Funktion die Gesamtperformance eines DocuWare Systems detulich beeinflussen. Es werden sehr viele Suchvorgänge gestartet, auch wenn der Benutzer vielleicht gar kein Dokument aufrufen möchte. Wir haben uns deshlab im Moment dagegen entschieden.

5. Fix the editing issue for people trying to work from home

   Getting tired of having issues working from home. When I try to edit a document, it asks me to install the app that I have already. This happens often for us. Fix it instead of us having to connect to online support. If I look in "Services" DW is running.

7. ein Snippingtool eingebaut wird

   ähnlich wie das Snipping Tool oder die Möglichkeit von Screenshots in MS OneNote wäre es denkbar auch Screenshots direkt in den Briefkorb zu senden.

   Im Moment plannen wir dies nicht ein. Sie können allerdings bei vielen Snippingtools einen Ordner definieren, in den die Screenshots abgespeichert werden. Wenn Sie diesen Ordner mit DocuWare Import überwachen, werden die Screenshots automatisch in den Briefkorb importiert.

   Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn man in der Konfiguration von Smart Connect auch URL-Integrationen hinterlegen könnte z. B. Aufgabenlisten.

9. Probleme DocuWare 6.7 Massenverarbeitung

   Guten Tag Fa. DocuWare

   Wir sind auf die Docuware Version 6.7 umgestiegen.
   Dabei sind mir einige Punkte aufgefallen, die eine Massenverarbeitung von Dokumenten mit den Webmodulen zur Zeit unmöglich machen.
   Ich habe die Punkte mal in einer Word-Datei zusamengefasst.

10. Auto clip reports through Docuware Printer

    My customer has a report that prints out as 15 separate documents. They would like to have it auto stapled or clipped before storing into a cabinet.

    Thanks for your idea. Printing ONE print job is automatically creating ONE document unless specified differently.

    Or are these different print jobs?

11. Smart Connect over RDP and Citrix

    Currently using Smart Connect locally to capture data through RDP or Citrix is not supported. It would be a great help if at least the OCR technology was supported for it. I ran into an issue today where Smart Connect would not read text out of text boxes within Windows applications, including the admin tool login screen for example. Some customers use certain applications through RDP or citrix and would rather run desktop locally since sharing the DocuWare Printer driver isn't supported through citrix and import folders would have to be on the citrix server as well, or they would need to allocate double the amount of licenses for desktop users.

    The technology used for Smart Connect is not working with RDP or Citrix. Only local displayed windows can be used.

12. Konfiguration von Ersatzrechtecken/feldern für Printer

    In Recognition war es möglich Ersatzrechtecke zu ziehen. Es konnten mehrere Felder gezogen werden, welche nacheinander durchsucht wurden, falls der Wert in den vorherigen Feldern nicht gefunden wurde. Dies sollte im Printer auch möglich sein.

13. Correct page formatting when printing a web page through DW Printer

    When trying to print a web page to DW Printer through a web browser, we get different results depending on the browser that was used to print from.

    Attaching a word document with screenshots illustrating the results of a DW Print job printed through Internet Explorer (where the text was garbled) and Fire Fox (where the text appeared normally). We were advised that the rendering is done by the browser, and not the DW Printer.

    Can the print results be more consistent, regardless of the browser that is rendering?

    Dies sollte bereits genau so funktionieren. Falls dies bei Ihnen nicht so sein sollte, wenden Sie sich bite an nseren Support.

15. Indexcleaner

    Der Indexcleaner funktioniert nicht korrekt.
    Durch falsch eingegebene Firmennamen unsererseits ist die Datenbank teilweise fehlerhaft. Sucht man eine Firma erschient die gleiche u.a. auch falsch geschriebene auch in der Auswahl: z.B.: Maier GmbH & Co. KG (wäre richtig), es erschient noch: Mayer GmbH & Co. KG, Maier GmbH&Co. KG ....
    Da ich keine teure Datenbankbereinigung über den Dienstleister in Anspruch nehmen möchte und das Tool ja extra dafür konzipiert wurde, möchte ich die doppelten und fehlerhaften Namen löschen- eigentlich sehr einfach mit dem Indexcleaner, das Tool an sich ist nämlich super- zumindest in der Theorie- praktisch funktioniert es einfach nicht. Auch nach dem sich unser Dienstleister mit Docuware in Verbindung gesetzt hat haben wir nach vielen Stunden keine Lösung, nur die Aussage dass man hier auch nichts mehr machen kann..
    Zur Erläuterung: Es werden auch nicht pauschal gar keine doppelten Namen erkannt sondern einige einfach nicht... Obwohl sie als falsche in der Historie erscheinen..
    Hier wissen wohl auch die Techniker von Docuware nicht mehr weiter..

17. Die Spracheinstellungen des WebClients sollten auch in die DesktopApps übernommen werden, da diese ja "aus DocuWare" aufgerufen werden

    Im Web Client kann die Sprache für die Oberfläche ausgewählt werden. Ruft man dann die Desktop Apps auf gilt die Spracheinstellung des Rechners und nicht die von Docuware.

    Dies sollte konsistent bleiben!
