Hide boolean operators in WEB Client
Make the possibility to hide boolean operators in Search dialog in WEB Client. Now settings made in DW Administration affecting only the DW Windows Client. This feature will ensure that anybody wouldn't hack your hidden fixed value entered into search dialog. Now all defined search dialogs you can workaround by changing the boolean expression into OR mode.

Changing boolean operators in a Search dialog was only possible in Windows Client and Web Client v.1. Both are now discontinued. This is anyway not possible in Web Client v.2 (DW 6.5+).On the other side, our advice is security to always be ensured using Profiles instead, as Dialogs can not be 100% secure way of denying access to documents.

Java API für Platform Services
Bisher gibt es eine JAPI für den Zugriff über die Web Services und die GAPI auf DocuWare. Nachdem die GAPI ab nächstem Jahr wohl nicht mehr angeboten wird, wird es auch die JAPI nicht mehr geben.
Aus diesem Grund schlage ich vor, dass analog zur .NET-API für die Platform Services auch eine Java-API geschaffen wird.

Show old versions button has disappeared
In version 6.11 users can display out of date and current versions in the same results list by clicking on "Show old versions" button. This button doesn't existe anymore in DocuWare 7 and 7.1, it is replaced by contextual menu (righ click > Version overview) but it is not exactly the same. This new feature displays versions in a separate result list which is not possible to cutomize. Moreover, this Version Overview shows only versions of one document, it is not possible to search for several documents' version at the same time

Bring Forcing Upper Case in index field back
When the cloud was updated to 6.12, all the cabinets quit enforcing the forced upper case indexes rule available before 6.12. I can't speak for other customers but this is (was) a critical part of how our workflows worked, and the interactions between Docuware and our other systems.

Allow Client/Admin to Modify the Color of the Task List or Result List Title Bar
It would be beneficial to allow the clients or admins to modify the color of the task list/result list title bar in the web client. Currently through the designer, it only allows you to modify the header bar colors.
This is very helpful when clients have many different task lists/result lists pinned. I posted an image of a client with multiple task lists for an example of the area I am referring to and why color modifications would help easily identify task lists.

Allow for filename to overwrite 'keep entries' setting.
When 'Keep Entries' is selected within Store Dialog the index field which is configured as filename should be allowed to be populated with new document filename while other fields keep previous entries.
Even better, it should be allowed within the store dialog to select which fields are to 'keep entries' and which are not.11 votesThank you for your idea, Josef. I am sorry but this feature will not be implemented in the near future.

Ordner im Briefkorb
Anlage von Ordnern im Briefkorb, um mehere Dokumente zu "sammeln" für eine bessere Übersicht. Wie eine Explorer Dateistruktur oder Outlook Unterordner, in der man auch veschiedene Dokumente in Unterordner legt.

Outlook wird bei versenden aus einem Archiv gesperrt
Wenn man aus DocuWare heraus ein Dokument versenden will (Briefkuvert-Symbol), dann wird Outlook blockiert und man kann nur noch diese E-Mail bearbeiten und versenden. Das Problem wird von der MAPI-Schnittstelle ausgelöst. Interessanterweise tritt dieses Problem nicht auf, wenn man eine Datei mit dem Parameter "/a" übergibt (Outlook.exe /a). Es wäre ein Erleichterung, wenn dies "eingebaut" werden könnte.
Die gegenwärtig einzige funktionierende Lösung das Dokument zuerst herunterzuladen und dann anzuhängen ist zu aufwendig und umständlich.
Einen anderen E-Mail Client zu verwenden ist nicht möglich. Ersten wechseln wir gerade von Lotus Notes zu Outlook und zweitens sind dies E-Mail-Client Vorgaben konzern- und…10 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Leider ist es nicht möglich Ihren Vorschlag umzusetzen. Mit der verwendeten MAPI-Schnittstelle sprechen wir den Mail-Client an, der auf dem System als Standard eingetragen ist.

10 votesAfter reviewing this use case we have determined that this type of behavior would have a non-desirable impact in organizations which have lots of configurations, where administrators do no wish to see all configurations. We have added to our product roadmap a new idea for improved deletion of users – we have planned a feature to allow the administrator to delete all or take ownership of all configurations owned by a user when deleting that user.

Zweizeilige Ergebnisse in der Ergebnissliste (DW ab 6.5)
Bis zur Version 6.5 gab es den Resultlist-Designer, womit auch zweizeilige Ergebnisse gestaltet werden können. Dies war nützlich wenn Indexfelder mit viel Text (wie Bemerkungen) direkt in der Ergebnisliste angezeigt werden musste. (Siehe beigelegten Screenshot)
Durch den Entfall des Designers stellt jedes Ergebnis eine Zeile dar, und die Tabelle benötigt viel mehr Platz und die User müssen mehr Scrollen, dadurch geht leider der Überblick verloren...
Wird es wieder einen Designer oder eine gleichwertige Funktion geben?

Numerische Felder im WebClient auch ohne Formatierung/Tausendertrennzeichen konfiguriert werden können
Die Trennzeichen verwirren manchmal, zB bei Akten oder Belegnummern

10 votesVielen Dank für Ihren Vorschlag, Herr Stübinger. Hierzu gibt es einen Workaround indem Sie hierfür ein Textfeld und eine Feldmaske, welche nur Zahlen erlaubt, verwenden. Man kann dann lediglich nicht “von”…“bis” suchen. Make it possible to use In-Memory tables in MS-SQL Server
In the future(in our DocuWare now) it would be very helpful for the performance when DocuWare supports In-Memory tables for MS-SQL Server to grow up the speed an performance!
Microsoft says the performance for OLTP operations increase up to 30 to 40 times.

In memory tables are normally used for temporary data. DocuWare does not rely on temporary data much.

CREATE INDEX COVERSHEET
When you have storage rights on a cabinet you can click on the store dialog to "CREATE INDEX COVERSHEET" this will open up the store dialog, you enter your index data, and select PRINT the software creates a cover page with a 3D Barcode that the upload service can automatically import and file away.

Stempel sollten sich nach dem Setzen, vor dem Speichern des Dokumentes noch verschieben lassen.

Dokument senden mit automatisch eingefügter Signatur
Beim Senden von Dokumenten aus DocuWare heraus öffnet DocuWare zwar eine E-Mail allerdings wird die Signatur nicht automatisch eingefügt.
Wenn man im Outlook aber eine E-Mail erstellt, dann ist die Singatur autom. mit drin.
Wenn das Outlook-bedingt ist, dann ist mir klar das DocuWare keinen Einfluss darauf hat, aber wenn es eine Möglichkeit gibt das noch mit einzustellen, wäre es ganz hilfreich8 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Outlook erlaubt leider nicht, die Signatur einzufügen. -
Ausgewählten Usern das Löschrecht für den Webbriefkorb nehmen
Es kommt öfters vor, dass User das Recht haben sollen, Dokumente ins Archiv abzulegen, die eigentliche Prüfung des Dokumentes soll aber erst im Workflow erfolgen.

With DW Printer, we lost the capacity to add a back printing (exist with tiffmaker)
In tiffmaker, it was possible to add a back printing on every page.

You should be able to generate an email notification for a document being stored in a Tray instead of just a file cabinet.
