I suggest that Connect To Outlook allows users to choose what parts of the email to store witin the store dialog.
When storing an email, many users would prefer to be able to choose what part of the email to store. There are 3rd party add ons that allow this. It is frustrating for users when the logo from their email signatures are stored and is the first thing displayed in the viewer instead of the important PDF that was attached.
23 votesStarting in Version 6.8 we added the ability to strip images in email (by size and type). In 6.9 we added the ability to exclude all inline images. In the dialog you have the option to choose what is stored first, the email body or the attachments. Additionally, with Version 6.11 you will be able to store each attachment individually with separate store configurations.

Email date format in stored document when using connect to outlook
When you store an email using Connect to Outlook, the date format in the stored email document is in US format (MM/DD/YYYY), even though the customer is in UK. Could there be a setting that lets you change this date format?
Just to clarify, I am not talking about an index field. It is the date in the actual stored document (screenshot attached).

Support Office/Outlook 64bit for Connect To Outlook
Currently, only the 32bit version of Outlook is supported for Connect To Outlook.

x64-Version des Outlook-Add-In
Da viele meiner Kollegen mit einem x64 OS inzwischen auch ein x64 Office benutzen wäre es super, wenn es dafür auch ein x64 Outlook Add-In geben könnte, denn es wäre schon schwachsinnig extra dann überall ein x86 Outlook installieren.

Connect to Outlook / Connect to Mail öffentliche Ordner archivieren
DocuWare Connect to Outlook oder Connect to Mail sollte die Funktion unterstützen, öffentliche Ordner zu überwachen, z.B. einen Ordner "Rechnungseingang" mit der Adresse "Rechnungseingang@firma.com" um Mail-Rechnungen direkt in DocuWare zu archivieren und automatisch einen Workflow o.ä. zu starten.

Connect to Outlook: beim Ablegen mehrerer Attachments nicht ein PDF daraus machen sondern für jede Anlage ein eigenes Dokument

Connect to Outlook soll bei der Ablage den Ordnernamen auslesen können
DocuWare soll bei der Mail Archivierung den Ordnernamen mit als Index nutzen können. Damit wäre eine Ordnerüberwachung möglich deren Struktur durch den(die) Ordnernamen wesentlich Individueller wäre: Beispiel: Ein Bauunternehmen hat Öffentliche Ordner, jeder Ordner steht für ein Bauvorhaben, wenn nun die Mail-Archivierung drüber läuft habe ich nicht nur "Normale Mails" sondern habe diese gleich richtig in mein Archiv eingeordnet

"Automatisch anmelden" in Connect to Outlook standardmäßig deaktivieren
"Automatisch anmelden" in Connect to Outlook wurde mit Version 6.6 standardmäßig aktiviert, dies sollte aus folgenden Gründen geändert werden:
1.) Es werden DocuWare-Lizenzen von Benutzern bezogen, die DocuWare nur temporär verwenden
2.) Es gibt Benutzer die einen Outlook-Zugang, aber keinen DocuWare-.Zugang besitzen (zb. auf Terminalservern) - diese erhalten eine Fehlermeldung
3.) Benutzer sind nicht immer mit einem DocuWare-System verbunden und erhalten ebenfalls eine FehlermeldungWie die Funktion umgesetzt wird, ist aus meiner Sicht zweitrangig: ob in einer Konfigdatei, als Option in der Installationsroutine oder standardmäßig deaktiviert - wichtig ist, dass die Kunden sich nicht über unsinnige Fehlermeldungen beschweren!

Connect to Outlook sollte zwischen eingebetteten Bildern und Anhängen unterscheiden können
E-Mails enthalten häufig Bilder wie z.B. Firmen-Logos, die man nicht archivieren möchte. Eine Option, die eingebetteten Bilder nicht automatisch zum Anhang hinzuzufügen, würde hier helfen.

Allow Connect to Outlook to be configured to import from sub-folders
Connect to Outlook should have the ability to also read from folders below the source folder identified in the configuration. For example, an attorney has a client folder with sub-folders below the top level client folder. The sub-folders contain the emails associated with the various matters that they are working on for the client.

Add an option in Connect to Outlook that allows it to dynamically use the folder name in Outlook to populate an index field in the file cabinet.

Fortlaufende Nummerierung für Eingangsrechneungen per Mail über Connect To Outlook
Für Ablage von Eingangsrechnungen (z. Bsp.) im Anhang von E-Mails über Connect To Outlook würden wir uns eine automatische und fortlaufende Nummerierung in ein Indexfeld wünschen (siehe Paginierstempel), unsere Kunden vermissen so eine Funktion !!!
3 votesDies ist mit einer Vorbelegung mit einer automatischen Nummerierung in der Ablagemaske möglich. Dies wird allerdings über das Archiv eingerichtet und gilt demnach nicht nur für Dokumente aus Connect to Outlook.

Connect to Outlook: neue Option für getrenntes Ablegen von Mail und Anhang
Es wäre schön per Checkbox entscheiden zu können, ob Anhänge und Mail einzeln abgelegt werden (also nicht geklammert ins Archiv/den Basket)

Connect to Outlook - sollten die Option vorhanden sein, Bilder im Body der Mail nicht mit zu archivieren
Um unnötigen Datenmüül zu vermeiden, wäre es nützlich, wenn die Option bestünde, die Bilder im Body der E-Mail nicht mit zu archivieren.
Somit erhält man auch beim Drucken nicht übermäßig viele Seiten.1 voteVielen Dank für Ihren Beitrag.

Ability to store individual attachments when archiving from Outlook
Currently when archiving attachments with Connect to Outlook it clips multiple attachments together and stores as one. Would be nice to have an option to store each individually.

Bitte ermöglichen, dass man mit Connect to Outlook entscheiden kann, ob mit oder ohne Anhang abgelegt wird. Bisher ist das in der Konfiguration nicht möglich.

Connect to outlook destination be tray rather than cabinet
In connect to outlook, allow a tray to be a destination as well as a cabinet. Many times we need to make a quick change or comment before storing into a cabinet.
