  1. Versionierung anbieten bei Ablage aus dem Briefkorb durch ziehen auf ein Dokument

    Beim Ziehen eines Dokuments aus dem Briefkorb auf ein archiviertes Dokument in der Ergebnisliste wird momentan Klammern oder Ablegen angeboten. Hier wäre vielleicht eine weitere Funktion (neue Version ablegen) hilfreich, die die Versionierung übernimmt. Das gezogene Dokument wird automatisch die neue aktuelle Version, das im Archiv bestehende Dokument wird eine ältere Version.

  2. Versioning - Replace document

    An option 'Replace Document' using with Versioning should be interesting. Actually, versioning allows to modify index entries and modify or attach documents to the original one, but not to replace (delete) the original one.

    This is usefull for versioning when a new document becomes the latest needed documents.

    This is done by lot of competitors

  3. Allow users to edit after checking out/checking in a document

    Allow users to edit after checking out/checking in a document. Version control should be able to be manual and automatic not limited

  4. Separate the Check Out/Check In and Set As Current Version Rights For File Cabinet Profiles

    Currently the Check Out/Check In and the Set as Current Version rights are bundled together as the "Check Out" right under the File Cabinet Profiles.

    These should be considered as separate rights as we should be able to give users the right to Edit and the ability to set previous versions to current versions without giving the users right to Check Out a document.

  5. Versioning with drag / drop from a tray

    It would be convenient to make a rise of revision of a document by dragging the new version from the tray on the document involved (in the same way to attach a document with paperclip).

  6. Anmerkungen mit Index / System Feldern (Versionierung)

    Wir würden gerne auf die Dokumente eine Anmerkung aufbringen, die Werte aus dem Indexfeldern enthält.

    Beispiel - Dokuware Versionierung:
    Wir würden die Version, die DocuWare automatisch vergibt (=Systemfeld) auf das Dokument anzeigen und beim Drucken mit ausdrucken wollen.
