Allow the ability to select mulitple pages from the viewer and e-mail them together
If we have several pages within a document, but only 3 of the pages need to be e-mailed to someone, you have to copy the document to the basket, un staple it, select only the pages you need and then it still puts them as individual pages in the e-mail. Adding the option to select multiple pages from the viewer and send would save several steps. Right now it only gives you the option to send the entire document

Implement an import jobs failure notification feature
Sometimes import jobs fail, particularly in a server environment where there is no way of knowing that they aren't running properly without hearing from a customer or explicitly checking on the jobs. Therefore, there might be times where documents aren't being imported for a much longer time than we would otherwise know. If there was some sort of notification that can be sent to an assigned email whenever an import job fails, it'd make it much more efficient with regards to troubleshooting that issue much nearer to the initial time of failure as opposed to down the line.

Es soll möglich sein, dass DocuWare automatisch die leerseiten entfernt. also genau so wie bei Scanner App soll es auch Möglich sein das die Import Konfiguration das automatisch macht.

Import jobs keep going or autorestart after failure
Whenever an import job fails for whatever reason, that job stops importing altogether and you have to manually go in there and restart the failed job. This is not ideal as I am not always able to connect with the customer right away to restart the jobs, so there might be a time period where users are not getting any documents imported. It would be great if the import job didn't stop when it failed and maybe somehow could send an email notification to the admin but still kept going. Or autorestart after a certain period, whatever makes the most…

Allow Import configurations to monitor not only folders but also webbaskets
This used to be functionality in Active Import. That allowed for building complex multi-step import configurations.

Split filename during import
A very handy feature to have would be able to split a filename into different index fields during import.
This feature already exists when reading content off a page as the "Cut out text" feature so I suggest adding when selecting the filename. I've run across import projects where there's a very structured file name (i.e. index1index2index3.PDF) and have the ability to split the filename into index fields would be very useful.

Process incoming documents from Connect To Mail with DocuWare Import
Our customer want split attached documents from e-mails automatically, they are testing both Connect To Mail and DocuWare Import, however, there is no way to process incoming documents from Connect To Mail with DocuWare Import.
As I see, a natural way to perform this is adding Document Trays like sources of an Import Configuration, another way is enabling DocuWare Import Configurations into Connect To Mail storing options.
Would be great have not to wait for next versión for this improvement, a hotfix would be great.

DocuWare Import Job zeitgesteuert
Ein DocuWare Import Job sollte eine Zeitsteuerung haben, damit man zeitintensive Jobs (Massenübernahme von PDF-Dateien) zu einem nicht kritischen Zeitpunkt in der Nacht durchführen kann.

DocuWare Import Service Needs Error Notification Capability
The DocuWare Import Service desperately needs some kind of email notification to alert administrators when documents are not going into the system. I have been having an issue lately (I am working with support on this) where documents coming in through the import service are erroring out with a 401 error. I have no way to know this is happening without manually checking the import history or my users telling me there is something missing. Admins need some way to know there are issues so they can be resolved in a timely manner. Unresolved issues lead to users losing confidence…

Allow us to schedule DocuWare Import jobs. I have customers who need import across a VPN only at night. Previously they were using the scheduling features of Active Import to do this, but DW Import does not have this feature.

Ablage von verschlüsselten E-Mails mit Signaturen/Anhängen über Connect to Mail
Aktuell können verschlüsselte E-Mails nicht von Connect to Mail verarbeitet werden. Die E-Mail verbleiben im Posteingang und die Abarbeitung der Konfiguration stoppt.
Da in Zukunft von einem erhöhtem Auftreten von verschlüsselten E-Mails zu rechnen ist, sollte hierfür eine Lösung gefunden werden. Überwachung eines Webbriefkorbs durch DW Import
Docuware import sollte die Funktion bekommen auch Webbriefkörbe zu überwachen.
Es gibt momentan keine Möglichkeit Dokumente von einem Webbriefkorb automatisch zu einem anderen zu importieren und dabei Auslese und Indexsierungen vorzunehmen, so wie es im Active Import möglich war. Weder im Uploadservice noch im DW Import wurde diese Funktion berücksichtigt.

Wir haben bei einigen unserer Business Kunden für die schnelle interne Kommunikation den Austausch der Dokumente auf Basis der Briefkörbe, im Windowsclient eingerichtet.Beispiel:

Failed Import Jobs to Document Tray - Nonsense!
In DocuWare 6.8 when I use the IMPORT component of Desktop Apps to run an 1000+ file import from a specified source directory, I don't have to worry if the entire job fails because they go to a subdirectory within my source directory named "Failed" by default. Therefore, it is easy to rerun that job. However, in DocuWare 6.9, failed job files by default go to a document tray. The absolute worst place to manage 1000s of files. WHY! Please either make it so you can select a document tray as a source for the import job, or bring back…

Allow multiple attachements in an E-Mail to be stored as seperate documents
When storing an E-Mail using CONNECT to Outlook, if the E-Mail has multiple attachments each attachment should be able to be stored as a separate document with a specific document type. Connect to outlook does not allow for this.

ConnectToOutlook ohne DesktopApps
Unser Kunde MediaBrands hatte in einer ESX-VMWare Umgebung enorme Performanceprobleme mit dem Desktop-Service. Der Kunde musste die Apps auf jede Client-Session ausrollen, weil jeder DocuWare-User die Mailarchivierung nutzen sollte, jedoch nicht die anderen Funktionen der App. Dies hat eine große Last im Cluster erzeugt, weil jeder Desktop-Service ca. 20% der zugewiesenen CPU im Leerlauf verbraucht hat. Hilfreich wäre daher eine Möglichkeit ConnectToOutlook auch ohne die Desktop-Apps verwenden zu können.

Dokumentenname beim Scannen eingeben
Es sollte bei den DocuWare Desktop Apps die Möglichkeit geben einen Dateinamen schon direkt in der Scannoberfläche eingeben zu können. Derzeit heißen die Dokumente immer "Scan - Standard-Briefkorb #001". Wenn man viele Dokumente nacheinander scannt sorgt dies allerdings dafür, dass man viele Dokumente mit dem gleichen Namen im Briefkorb vorfindet und sie erst wieder zuordnen muss.
Könnte man direkt nach dem Scannen für jedes Dokument einen Dateinamen eingeben und anschließend erst den "Hochladen"- Button drücken hätte man bedeutend mehr Ordnung im Briefkorb. Außerdem muss man dann den Namen in dem Feld mit der Eigenschaft "Dokumentenname" nicht noch beim Ablegen nacherfassen.6 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Einzelablage bei mehreren Attachements im Email.
Unser Kunde erhält in einem Email mehrere Rechnungen, die via C2Mail direkt ins Archiv abgelegt werden. Hier startet sofort der Workflow. Jedoch soll für jede Rechnung im Anhang ein eigener Workflow gestartet werden. Hier wäre eine Lösung ohne vorher über den Briefkorb zu gehen und zu trennen, wünschenswert. Wäre auch super, wenn dies auch für C2Outlook realisiert werden kann.

Extract Attachments of MSG and EML files during import
If you store a mail as msg or eml file outside of Connect to Mail or Connect to Outlook you just get the mail body in the viewer. Attachements are shown as blue links within the mail body. The internal viewer is not able to page through the attachments as with other multi-file documents.
I recommend that during the import process the attachments should be extracted and stored as additional files so that the user can view them from inside DocuWare rather than download and open it with the mail client.6 votes -
Import anhand Teile eines dynamischen Wertes
Es wäre gut, wenn man beim Docuware Importer nur Ausschnitte eines dynamischen Wertes übernehmen könnte, wie es beim Auslesen des Dokumentes möglich ist.
In unserem Fall geht es um Rechnungen, die im Dateinamen alle wichtigen Daten, wie Kundennummer, Rechnungsnummer, Rechnungsdatum, etc. enthalten.

"Nach dem Ablegen löschen" eigene Ordner anlegen
Wenn man "Nach dem Ablegen löschen" aktiviert, wäre es praktisch, für die E-mails, die in den "gelöschte Elemente" Ordner von Outlook geschoben werden, einen eigenen Ordner auswählen zu können.
