  1. Ability to Export List of Users from Administration

    Many of our customers have requested the ability to export the list of users from DocuWare (to CSV) with their assigned permissions (Roles, Groups, Profiles, File Cabinet profiles)

  2. Connect to Mail must not clip different PDFs attached to email

    1. If an email is sent with different PDFs attached is because the PDFs are different documents.
    2. If the PDFs are different documents they should be individually archived
    3. When C2Mail clips them all (with no other option) a lot of human effort is required in order to archive those PDFs separately.
    4. This functionality kills the effectiveness of automatic storage given by C2Mail.
    5. If nothing else, please provide a checkbox so that the user may decide by himself whether he wants the clipping or not.

  3. Add in a feature that allows you to export and import specific configuration settings.

    As a Docuware DSC it would be extremely helpful to be able to export and import settings and configurations such as Import configurations, predefined workflows, stamps, Docuware Printer configs, and web baskets.

    Countless hours have been wasted recreating these things for customers or waiting on access to a customer server. Adding this feature would eliminate that because we could import backup configurations and/or build them in house and then transfer them to the customers server via an import process.

    I understand that a lot of these setting are currently grabbed in a System Settings Backup, however, most of the time…

  4. Hotfix Installation vereinfachen

    Wäre es nicht erstrebenswert die Hotfixe zu automatisieren, dass das "lästige" und fehleranfällige Kopieren von A nach B entfällt und automatisch die zu überschreibenden Dlls weggesichert werden?

    Vielleicht sogar mit einer einfachen Setup-Routine, welche auch gleich die Dienste stoppt und wieder startet startet?

    Ab DocuWare Version 7 wird es einen neuen Weg der Hotfix Installation geben:

    Sobald es einen Hotfix gibt, wird es ein neues komplettes DocuWare Installationspaket geben in dem alle Fixes enthalten sind. Mit diesen kann über die gewohnte Setup-Routine der Hotfix eingespielt werden.

    Bei einer Neuinstallation werden somit mit dem aktuellsten DocuWare Setuppaket ebenfalls alle Hotfixes enthalten sein.

  5. Include time, not just date, when automatically populating email metadata

    The date is of limited value in an organization with lots of emails (almost everyone?). Search results can list many emails with the same date and subject, and half of them may have the same sender / receiver. To find the latest email, all must be opened and viewed. Any mail client will sort by time and be easier to use than DocuWare.

  6. Add time settings to auto refresh option of lists

    Add the option to lists to refresh at certain intervals. Not having this option has a big speed impact and results in document selection jumps during refresh.

  7. Allow Adminstrator to over ride a lock out

    Rather than have the user be locked for X number of minutes, the administrator should be able to unlock a user, once the Admin has identified the user. As it stands now, a user can be locked out for up to 60 minutes and the Admin cannot do anything to remedy the situation.

    Within the DocuWare Administration, it is possible to unlock a user, but it is very hard to find.

    Select the user in the DocuWare Administration and open the context menu. If the user is locked, the context menu contains an entry “Unlock”.

  8. Ability to track user login to system/organization

    There is no easy way to track when a user accesses a DocuWare system. Having a option in a system\organization logging agent, or a new section to track user access to the system would be very helpful.

  11. Stichwort Tabelle statt Stichwort Feld

    Es wäre sehr hilfreich wenn man eine Art von Tabelle als Index hinterlegen könnte. In vielen Workflows, z.B. einem Eingangsrechnungsworkflow, müssen hinter die Dokumente mehrere Beträge oder Einträge gelegt werden. So muss z.B. ein Gesamtbetrag in kleinere Teilbeträge und auf Kostenstellen / Kostenarten aufgeteilt werden.
    Momentan lässt sich dies nur über mehrere Stichwortfelder und nicht sonderlich sauber darstellen.
    Für die Stichwort Tabelle sollte es dieselben Möglichkeiten pro Reihe wie für normale Felder geben, also Auswahllisten oder als Pflichtfeld definieren.

  12. DocuWare Lizenzmodell – für mehrere Endgeräte optimieren

    Immer mehr Kunden wünschen sich eine Anpassung vom DocuWare Lizenzmodell. Viele User benutzen DocuWare auf mehreren Endgeräten (PC-Geschäft, PC-Home-Office, Laptop, iPhone, iPad, Windows 8 Tab, etc.) Aktuell ist häufig ein Login bei einem anderen Gerät nicht möglich, weil keine freie named Lizenz für diesen Benutzer mehr vorhanden ist.

    Vorschlag: Nach der korrekten Eingabe von Benutzernamen und Kennwort, soll eine Abfrage erscheinen, ob die aktuell gesperrte named Lizenz „übernommen“ werden soll. Durch die „Übernahme“ soll ein die gesperrte Lizenz freigeben werden und dem aktuell genutzten Endgerät zugeordnet werden. Somit kann ein Benutzer beliebig viele Endgeräte benutzten und ein Login ist immer…

  14. Allow a copy paste with hotkey from smartconnect

    As the smartConnect configuration might be sometimes a bit tricky, due to different screensizes, I think it would be nice to be able to overlight a text in an application, and then use a hotkey to read it and use it in a search dialog.

    Hello Mr. Tassy,
    have you tried the “Current selection” option in Smart Connect?

    When you define your search you can add a “dynamic entry” to your Indexfield. There you can select “Currentselection”.

    With this function you will be able to search for the string that is selected in the application.
    Is this what you need?

  15. Bei DocuWare Online sollte vor dem Erreichen der max. Speicherkapazität eine Mail versendet werden.

    Es sollte konfigurierbar sein, welche User diese Mail bekommen. Bisher muss das Kontingent noch manuell überwacht werden.

  16. Stempelinformationen in der Datenbank

    Stempelinformationen in die Datenbank
    Es wäre sehr gut, wenn die Stempelinformationen auch in die Datenbank mitübernommen würden.
    Im Moment sind diese nur in der Headerxml zu finden.

    So werden bei einem Indexwiederherstellungworkflow z.B. keine Stempelbilder übertragen.

  17. Are able to automatically create baskets when a new user is synced from AD

    When using AD to sync users it would be really handy if you could choose to automatically create a Web Basket for these users.

    Currently you have to create all the users and then go and create the web baskets separately. This is ok when you are first configuring the system but later down the line it becomes an issue when the sync is on a schedule as you have no idea who does/doesn't have a basket.

  18. Local CND als Fallback vorsehen

    Seit Hotfix 8 zu DocuWare 6.6 wird eine Web-Settings-Datei ausgeliefert, in der "UseLocalCDN" auf "false" gesetzt wurde. Es geht hierbei um die Entscheidung, ob der eigene Platform Application Host oder das Google Content Delivery Netzwerk genutzt werden soll, um die für den HTML5-Client erforderlichen JavaScript Bibliotheken auszuliefern. Es ist dringend ein Offline-Fallback auf die Bibliotheken im eigenen System vorzusehen, damit die Webclient bei Nicht-Verfügbarkeit der Google-Verbindung nicht unbenutzbar wird.

  19. Zeitsteuerung Autoindex DW 7.0

    Mit Docuware 7 lässt sich der Startzeitpunkt der Autoindexjobs nur noch auf volle Stunden einstellen. Das sollte wieder flexibel sein. Sonst laufen viele auf stündlich eingestellte Jobs alle gleichzeitig.

  20. Need ability to record license activity history

    Would like to have a way to see license activity history.

    It is more like an audit trail report where for a specific period of time, I can view the licenses that were in use, with their respective length of time and usernames.
