Optionales Entfernen des automatischen Vorschlages bei Datumsfeldern
Es sollte möglich sein, den automatischen Vorschlag, bzw. das automatische Füllen von Datumsfelden in Such- und Ablagemasken zu deaktivieren.

allow searching on the document type field that DocuWare already captures and displays
We love that wonderful icon that shows up on the left of result lists that indicates document type (ie. Word, PDF, Email, etc), but it would be great if there were a way to include that in a search dialog so if users want to filter to show only emails, for example, they can. I'm just telling them to sort the result list by doc type for now by clicking the column heading.

DocuWare Online: Backup bzw. Import/Exportmöglichkeit von Konfigurationen
Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn in DocuWare eingerichtete Konfigurationen über eine Export/Importoption zwischen Benutzern ausgetauscht bzw. gesichert werden könnte. Eine solche Möglichkeit ist bei modernen Programmen heute Standard, man vermisst sie jedoch derzeit schmerzlich bei DocuWare Online.

WebClient Einstellungen bei ReadOnly
Wir schlagen vor, das bei einem WebClient im ReadOnly Modus sich Benutzer auch persönliche Einstellungen einstellen können.
Problem ist, das bei einem WebClient im ReadOnly Modus der Benutzer nach der Anmeldung in der Menüleiste (in der er sich auch Abmelden kann) keine Funktion Einstellungen auswählen kann.
Dies bedeutet dass er weder Sprache, Suchmasken und Viewer Anzeige beeinflussen kann.
Dies ist aber gerade dann sin voll, wenn man den WebClient seinen Kunden nur zu Recherche zwecken zur Verfügung stellen möchte!6 votesDas gewünschte Verhalten wird mit Version 6.6 möglich.

Incorporate Linq and Regex classes from .NET in arithmetic expressions
This would solve so many problems like regex validation after storing the document or correcting text automatically. Also Linq is such a powerful API. If we could use something like FirstOrDefault() / All() / Distinct() and else. This would be such a great addition to Docuware, so many things could be done inside workflow without the need for external validation service.

In Formularen sind Tabellenfelder hilfreich, so dass bspw. Purchase Orders nicht je Zeile separat angelegt werden müssen, sonder mit mehreren Positionen.

Export Workflow "Dokumente aus Quellarchiv löschen" wieder einfügen
Bitte wieder die Funktion "Dokumente aus Quellarchiv löschen" im Export Workflow einfügen auch wenn man im Quellarchiv die Versionierung eingeschaltet hat.
Es ist nicht möglich über ein Export Workflow und dann über ein Löschworkflow sicherzustellen, das die Dokumente wirklich exportiert wurden.

Die Option steht zur Verfügung, wenn sowohl das Quell- als auch das Zielarchiv die Versionierung aktiviert haben und die Option “Versionen übertragen” aktiviert ist.

Add the ability to modify Functions of the Document History Dialog or Inherit from Result
We have a situation where we need to limit the options available in the right-click menu of the Document History dialog as you can do so with a Result View Dialog under the Functions section in the DW Administration (See Screenshot).
Originally, we anticipated that the Document History dialog would inherit the permissions and options, including which hidden functions from the Result View dialog the user has rights to or used to view the document history of the record (See Screen Shot).

Any chance that your login page could support a Federated Service option like ADFS?
I'm curious if Docuware could be configured to allow a Federated Service login such as ADFS, so that we could support multiple external clients without having to create them internal AD accounts

Release Notes erweitern um Funktionen die nicht mehr unterstützt werden
Es wäre sinnvoll vorab eine Liste mit Funktionen zu bekommen die nicht mehr enthalten sind. Leider kommt man erst bei Updates beim Kunden drauf das bestimmte Dinge nicht mehr funktionieren.

Simple Start up Template
Going in to using Docuware with zero experience, I would suggest give new clients a simple start up template to fill out. They could list Main File Cabinets needed (in outline format) and with those (also in outline format) the index headings they would like. Having filled those out would give a clear view of HOW the system would be set up, and prior to actual set up of the Stores, changes could be made. Not using the program at all prior to training, it's hard to visualize how it will work. The more the customer is familiar with the…

Allow edits to the web page
Currently on the v 6.7 web page there are three options for login, Docuware Account, Active Directory and guest. We only have a single organization so we do not use that filed and the user leaves it blank. The Windows Account page will not be used from the outside. The Guest account is disabled, as we only use the Docuware account option. I would recommend the following options be enabled:
1. If there is a single organization and that field will not be used, allow it to be disabled to avoid confusion on behalf of the end users.

Add possibility to fill TABLE field from WF, autoindex or Forms + filter INSIDE Table field
Currently there is no way of creating data record with Table field in it or even fill existing data containing Table field and fill that.
Example: invoice might have more than one order and approver usually takes a look at each oreder (or receipt) corresponding to that invoice. Simple table field with prefilled data would totally make sense.
As of now you can only fill Table field using one click / intelligent indexing or just manually typing stuff.

Smart Index - Make Functionality Similar to Document Processing Select Text Options
It would be very helpful if we were able to use the "after known character(s), before known character(s), between known character(s), between separator" options when configuring the Smart Index settings. These are available within Document Processing but for some reason when using Smart Index to OCR another screen there is no way to set the field values with this type of logic.
The other web based applications we have configured for the Smart Index may display headers and sections of data that vary in length, based upon each value. For example, our claims system always pulls up a "header" section…

CSV-Export und Import auf ANSI - Kodierung ermöglichen
Viele weiterverarbeitende Systeme arbeiten mit ANSI-Kodierung für CSV Dateien. Des Öfteren werden aufgrund der ANSI <-> UTF 8 Umwandlungen Sonderzeichen unschön escaped.

In DocuWare Online die Standard-Logs (wie bei on Premise) bei Erzeugung der DW Online Instanz angelegt werden.
In DW Online sollte es wie bei der on Premise Version die Standard Loggings (Logging Ziele, Logging Agenten) geben. Zumindest DWLOGAUTOIND, DWLOG_DELETE und DWOrgLog wären hilfreich.
Bei Autoindex Workflows werden in der DW Online z.Z. kein Logging-Ziel angezeigt, auch wenn man von Hand eins angelegt hat.

Gelöschte Dokumente wiederherstellen
Es sollte eine Möglichkeit geben, das der Administrator in der Lage ist von jedem Nutzer gelöschte Dokumente wiederherstellen zu können. Im Idealfall kann der Admin dann noch festlegen nach welcher Zeitspanne des löschens die Dokumente automatisch entgültig gelöscht werden.
3 votesDiese Funktion ist bereits heute mit einer Kombination aus Index-Filter und Löschen-Workflow möglich. Dabei kann der Benutzer / Administrator genau festlegen wie und wann ein Dokument endgültig gelöscht werden kann.
Es wird dabei ein eigenes Feld dafür verwendet, welches durch einen Eintrag ein Dokument zum Löschen markiert. Der Indexfilter blendet für alle Benutzer dieses Dokument aus, belässt es physikalisch aber im Archiv. Der Löschen-Workflow löscht das Dokument dann endgültig zu einem definierten Zeitpunkt.
