   It is very important to create custom reports about users including role, profile, and group assignment, user permissions on each file cabinet. It is an added value in DocuWare administration for auditing purpose and PCI compliance.

3. I suggest to allow more colors for the stamps or web baskets

   I would like to have the option of choosing more colors when creating any of the following... stamps/web baskets/ file cabinets/ decisions on workflow manager. I have a couple of clients that have a bunch of file cabinets and different colors will make it a lot easier on the eyes.

4. User über die Administration aus dem System ausloggen

   Die Möglichkeit User zu sehen die eingeloggt sind (weiss das es den Punkt gibt, ist aber ziemlich gut versteckt) und auch für einzelne oder alle Anwender einen Logout erzwingen.

5. Add Security assertion markup language (SAML) Support

   To be able to integrate DocuWare in an architecture where SSO is implement with SALM V2 protocol , DocuWare needs to implement such protocol.

   This would be a major improvement for On Premise and also Cloud architecture to provide simple and standardize way for SSO service

   For instance the Azure Architecture supports SAML 2.0

   Thank you for your idea. We decided to support OpenID Connect, so we are not considering SAML at the moment. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.

   Export von Docuware Settings ist nur über interne XML möglich. Die Kunden haben keine Möglichkeit sich einen Überblick über die aktuelle config oder die Benutzer Berechtigungen zu verschaffen. Dies war in der Version 5.1b noch vorhanden wurde aber unverständlicherweise durch DW abgeschafft

13. Make improvements to Email Notification

    Email Notifications are extremely limited in what they can do and how they are scheduled. They are also not easy to understand and/or test. I recommend the following improvements.
    1. Allow groups and roles to be assigned to a notification. The whole point of AD synchs with a group is to reduce administration tasks but without the ability to assign groups/roles to notifications, then the admin has to assign users separately OR open a notification job to all users, which is not ideal.
    2. Create an ability for a notification to change a field after execution. This will allow users to verify that an email was sent, and/or trigger follow up tasks/notifications. I.e. if a "Status" field is updated to "Email Sent" and the doc hasn't been changed in over a day (DWModifyDate field is >=Today(-1)) then a follow up email notification is triggered.
    3. Improve the scheduling options. Right now you have two options: Immediately notify which typically sends one email for every document instance (which can be over-whelming) OR reoccurring which will accumulate triggered events and then send them all at the scheduled time even if the trigger condition has since been cleared. It seems that for a reoccurring job, triggered events should not accumulate but rather a query should occur at the scheduled time. Therefore notifications would be current at that moment.
    4. Email the actual docs. Currently you can include a link to the doc(s) or to a Task List but not the actual doc(s). This excludes an email notification from being used to notify non-DocuWare users. If you wish to send customers their recent invoices on a daily, weekly or monthly cycle, you will need to provide them with access to your DocuWare system which creates a setup and licensing load on the administrator. It also requires the customer to go through the process of connecting and downloading their invoices which they probably do not want to do.

15. Checksummen-Funktion bitte verbessern

    Um die Funktion nutzen zu können, dass Docuware "merkt", dass ein Dokument 'hinterrücks' verändert wurde, muss in der Administration ein Haken beim Archiv gesetzt werden. Vergisst man das/möchte erst später dieses Feature nutzen, hat man leider wenig Optionen:

    Leider ist es nicht möglich, mit einem Migrations- oder Index-Wiederherstellungs-Workflow für bereits abgelegten Dokumenten eine Prüfsumme hinzuzufügen. Die Prüfsummen werden ausschließlich bei der Ablage erstellt und auch von Anmerkungen nicht beeinflusst. Deshalb stellt die einzige (automatisierte) Option ein Synchronisations-Workflow, der alle Dokumente in ein komplett neues Archiv ablegt, dar.

    Das Erstellen dieser Prüfsummen im Nachhinein ist also mit sehr großem Aufwand verbunden.
    Meine Idee wäre es, wenn es entweder einen eigenen Workflow-Typ gibt, der diese Prüfsummen prüft und erstellt, falls nicht vorhanden oder in einen anderen Workflow-Typ mit einbaut - z.B. Index wiederherstellen, DB überschreibt Dokumentenheader

    Ein Reporting-Tool in diesem Umfeld der Checksummen wäre ebenfalls sehr wünschenswert.

    Die Tatsache, dass dieses Feature nicht standardmäßig eingeschaltet ist, sollte ggf. auch einmal überdacht werden, da dieser Button im Web-Client standardmäßig vorhanden ist.

16. Dokumentablage | SQL oder CSV Verbindungen bei "Text ersetzen" in "Indexieren"

    Bei der Funktion 'Text ersetzen' ist es nicht vorgesehen, die Ersetzungsliste dynamisch zu füllen.
    Nur während eine Konfiguration erstellt oder bearbeitet wird, werden die zu ersetzenden Werte aus einer CSV Datei mit dem aktuellen Stand eingelesen.

    Es wäre sinnvoll, wenn man auch dynamische Listen verwenden kann, da sich oft während der Laufzeit Werte, die ersetzt werden müssen, hinzufügen oder ändern.

    Der Aufwand, in jeder Konfiguration manuelle Anpassungen zu machen, ist enorm.
    Wir haben ca. 1-2 neue Werte am Tag bei inzwischen etwa aktiven 15 Konfigurationen, (wachsend).

17. Connect to Mail - .Zip verarbeiten

    Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn eine abgelegte Email (über Conncet to Mail), mit einer .ZIP im Anhang (mehrere Eingangsrechnungen), automatisch als Einzel .PDFs ablegen würde.

18. Web Client - Auto Abmelden

    In früheren Versionen gab es die Funktion, das die Client Lizenz nach Zeitraum "X" Inaktivität freigegeben wird. Dies bemängeln alle unsere Kunden nach Upgrade auf die aktuelle Version.

    ich würde es mir wünschen, wenn man nicht nur den Startpunkt beim Index-Wiederherstellen (z.B. Datenbank überschreibt XML-Header) definieren kann, sondern auch (gleichzeitig!) das Ende definieren kann.
    z.B. DocID zwischen X und Y

    zusätzlich hätte ich im LOGGING gern die Information wie viele Dokumente erfolgreich aktualisiert wurden - derzeit sieht man nur die Fehlerhaften

    Der Auslöser:
    Angeblich soll das XML-File VOR der Datenbank zur Suche herangezogen werden - Aussage DW-Support. Wir hatten auf DB-Ebene ein paar Einträge geändert - nun verweigert Docuware (6.8) das Dokument über die Suche zu finden, obwohl ich das als Admin finden müsste, weil genau dieser Wert in der DB steht. Gehe ich über einen Hyperlink mit did= 12345678, dann öffnet sich das gesuchte Dokument.

    Zu Wartungszwecken sollte vom Administrator ein Popup an den Webclient gesendet werden können, in dem eine Mitteilung wie eine Neustartankündigung zentral verteilt werden kann
