Hide boolean operators in WEB Client
Make the possibility to hide boolean operators in Search dialog in WEB Client. Now settings made in DW Administration affecting only the DW Windows Client. This feature will ensure that anybody wouldn't hack your hidden fixed value entered into search dialog. Now all defined search dialogs you can workaround by changing the boolean expression into OR mode.

Changing boolean operators in a Search dialog was only possible in Windows Client and Web Client v.1. Both are now discontinued. This is anyway not possible in Web Client v.2 (DW 6.5+).On the other side, our advice is security to always be ensured using Profiles instead, as Dialogs can not be 100% secure way of denying access to documents.

Zweizeilige Ergebnisse in der Ergebnissliste (DW ab 6.5)
Bis zur Version 6.5 gab es den Resultlist-Designer, womit auch zweizeilige Ergebnisse gestaltet werden können. Dies war nützlich wenn Indexfelder mit viel Text (wie Bemerkungen) direkt in der Ergebnisliste angezeigt werden musste. (Siehe beigelegten Screenshot)
Durch den Entfall des Designers stellt jedes Ergebnis eine Zeile dar, und die Tabelle benötigt viel mehr Platz und die User müssen mehr Scrollen, dadurch geht leider der Überblick verloren...
Wird es wieder einen Designer oder eine gleichwertige Funktion geben?

Searching Multiple File Cabinets at Once with Business Server License
This functionality is available with Professional and Enterprise but not Business. It used to be available in Business with the thick client but it has since been removed. The only option is to upgrade the client from Business to Professional but this is expensive for a small client using Business. We recently upgraded a client on Business and they are very upset that the functionality was taken away.

Automatically populate numeric range fields
In my organisation we search for purchase invoices by entering a 'from' and 'to' range of their document numbers. When moving from the 'from' field to the 'to' field in DocuWare 5.1b the 'to' field would automatically update to the same number as the 'from' field. This happened whether there was already data in the 'to' field, but only if the 'to' field was selected (if it was not selected then it would retain whatever data was in there). Now that we have upgraded to the latest version of DocuWare this happens only if the 'to' field is blank. If…

Allow for the same value to be searched in multiple fields
Allow for a value e.g. 'Bob Jones' to be searched in multiple fields. Essentially its an OR statement in SQL. Support said that would be a stellar idea to allow for versatile search options. We know we can search multiple cabinets, but to search for multiple fields within a cabinet would be great!

Allow A Data Connection to Excel
It would be beneficial to be able to connect directly to DocuWare from excel for real time data reporting.

Select list only fields in SEARCH DIALOG
The support say that searching with a field that have select list only and allow new entries unchecked will work. There should be possible to configure search dialogs to not return the result if the select list is not choosen.

Demora demasiado tiempo para realizar busqueda de datos
Solicito de su apoyo para que me indiquen, a quien me puedo dirigir o en que FORO ayuda con la configuración de una migración que hice del sistema DOCUWARE. La problemática que tengo es que migre el sistema de Docuware de un servidor Físico a uno virtual, todo funciona correctamente, sin embargo, los 60 usuarios que tengo tardan demasiado en loguearse, vía web, y en consultar los documentos y demás procesos en el sistema

Zeilenbreite in den Suchergebnissen verkleinern
Seit Version 6.10 ist die Zeilenbreite in den Suchergebnissen viel größer als in den Vorgängerversionen. Man erkennt viel weniger Suchergebnisse, obwohl die Schriftart genauso klein wie vorher ist. Die Breite soll über CSS konfigurierbar sein!

Warum gibt es beim Standard-Suchdialog Kreditoren keinen Fund, wenn man bei HARALD SUSDORF nur den SUSDORF eingibt. Reicht so nicht.

I suggest that you make a system to where you can get a list of all documents ever recieved.
A system to where you can download the master data base of each Archive data system where it will be a list of all the documents that have been entered into that archive list.

When looking at search results, if I widen a column, the text should automatically adjust to fill the space.

Eingabeverhalten der Suchfelder an alten Client anpassen.
Es ist sehr störend bei numerischen Indexen im 2. Feld nochmals den Wert einzutragen, gesucht werden meist konkrete Belegnummern.
Bei Datumsangaben funktioniert zwar der Shortcut "x". Nach Drücken der Tabulatortaste landet man im Monat des VON Feldes und nicht im BIS Feld.
Beim Scrollen der Ergebnisliste und Auswahl eines Dok's durch Enter wechselt der Focus auf den Viewer-Teil. Erst ein Mausklick bringt den Focus auf die Ergebnisliste zurück.1 vote -
Suchfeld: Einstellmöglichkeit, nur ein Suchfeld zu nutzen.
Wir müssen eine Kundennummer zwei mal in zwei Felder eingeben, bis man ein Ergebnis hat. Diese Eingabe von zweimal dem selben Kriterium verlangsamt die Suche!

1 voteEMPTY() would probably useful in this scenario. Maybe this search parameter is not commonly known.
