    Yes, you’re right. When you import MSG or EML files into DocuWare using Connect to Mail or Connect to Outlook, you often see only the email body in the viewer. Attachments appear as blue links, and you can’t open or scroll through them like other documents directly within DocuWare. This can be inconvenient, especially when you need to quickly check attachments without downloading them separately.

    To solve this issue, you can use Advik MSG Converter or EML Converter. It allows you to extract attachments from MSG and EML files during the conversion or import process. The software saves attachments as separate files, so they are no longer hidden or just linked inside the email body.

    Once extracted, you can import both the email and its attachments into DocuWare as individual but connected files. This way, users can easily open and view the attachments right from DocuWare—no need to download or use a mail client.
