WebService XML/JSON BUG
The Web version of the Workflow Designer returns the Results of the GET Document in XML Format, and cannot be used to map Data to Variables. The same Functions in the Desktop version of Workflow Designer Get Document, Returns the results in JSON and they can be mapped to variables. Can this feature please be Fixed? Thanks!

Issue with "localwebservice" Value in Version 7.11
During the installation of DocuWare version 7.11, we encountered an issue related to the dwmachine.config file located in C:\ProgramData\DocuWare\ServerConfig.
Specifically, the value of the localwebservice field is automatically modified to an incorrect value during the upgrade process. This change causes certain critical functionalities to stop working after the installation is complete.
We kindly request that you investigate and address this behavior in future updates to ensure the correct value is either retained or automatically set during the installation process.I already opened a ticket but your support team replied to use the uservoice forum.

Ich wende mich im Forum bzgl. des Sachverhalts mit der Vorkontierung, Übergabe und Vorerfassung von Rechnungen von, die unter der Nummer des FIBU-Hauptobjekts (in unserer Organisation – 50000) eingegangen sind, und diese sollten an die Unter-Objekte (von 50001 bis 50044 soweit) weiterverteilt und weiterbearbeitet werden. Die Filter aus den Aufgaben wurden entfernt und dann funktioniert die Verteilung wunschgemäß. Meine Frage an Sie wäre: könnten die angesprochenen Filter nur für eine bestimmte Objekt-Gruppe ausgeschaltet/entfernt (in unserem Fall die Objekte von der 50000-Reihe) bleiben, und für die anderen Objektgruppen wieder eingeschaltet werden?

Option to remove the "reset password" link when the notification license prevents it from working
The reset password link on the Web client login page appears to be sending a message to the user to reset their password but isn't working because we don't have the "Notification License" according to DocuWare Support. I recommend providing the ability to remove this link in the next version to prevent confusion and failed password reset attempts for users having password and login issues.

Edit a stored zip file
Please restore the ability to edit a stored zip file. We lost this functionality in going from v7.1 to v7.5. Now we get a "file type is not supported error".

There was no change between the mentioned versions. But be aware, that zip-files can only be edited with a third-party applications like 7-zip. Using the default Windows Explorer will not work and has never worked before.

face-to-face signature with DocuSign
In validateID you have the face-to-face signature integrated on the tablet, but we need the "embedded signing" method to be programmed in the DocuSign API for face-to-face signature, now it only allows remote signatures.

Is there any program or DocuWare application that can convert Tiff files to PDF in large batches while in DocuWare?
We have a large number of Tiff Files that take up a lot of server space as well as take up time to convert on a file by file basis. Is there an application or way we can do this on a larger scale over time through DocuWare?

Wenn man in einem Stichwortfeld den Verlauf eines Dokumentes durch die verschiedenen Etappen einer Aufgabe tracken möchte und dabei die Uhrzeit hinterlegen will, wird diese nur in UTC hinterlegt. Dabei ist es hilfreich, auf die bereits in den Einstellungen hinterlegten Zeitzonen & Sommer/Winterzeit zurückzugreifen bzw. die Umrechnung könnte automatisch erfolgen
1 voteVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Leider können wir diese Idee aufgrund mehrerer Faktoren derzeit nicht für eine künftige Version vorsehen. Ein Stichwortfeld enthält reinen Text, eine Erkennung und Umrechnung von Datum und Zeit ist dabei nicht möglich.
Wenn die Aufgaben mit dem Workflow Manager gesteuert werden, gibt es eine übersichtliche Historie, in der diese Informationen angepasst an Ihre Zeitzone angezeigt werden. -
Make white pages in the DocuWare Viewer appear white
Make pages that should be white in appearance, show that way in the DocuWare Viewer. Seems a lot of pages show as a dingy gray.

Cloud Desktop App Updates
Desktop App minor updates are currently delivered automatically when they are released. This occurs quite frequently, about once a week. These frequent client updates represent a high IT overhead for proper release cycles and needs to be refactored for a longer cadence.

From version 7.5 on the update for the Desktop Apps does not need admin privileges anymore, so all users can update the Apps by themselves at any time. -
bulk import
Rather than using Desktop Client Import Tool to get new docs in, can we bulk upload the docs to the FTP folder to avoid the slow processing times?
Wehave to import 50,000 documents and it is taking weeks to bulk import.

Chris2 votesSure you can upload to the FTP folder, but you cannot do any document recognition by this. The slow processing comes mainly because the Desktop Import does text recognition and already stores the files with index entries to a file cabinet.

Having again the possibility of recovery data from the images located in Docuware disks
In previous versions of Docuware, we have a good tool to recover data from disks, very useful when the database had a problem. Why did this functionality disappear?

The ability or option for Branding to be passed through to URL integration created Search dialogs
Today its not possible with 7.2 to implement branding on pages where only the Search Dialog window is being created via the URL Integration Links without a login.

Löschen der Aufgaben die als "gelöscht" eingespeichert sind
Die Aufgaben die schon bearbeitet worden sind und damit als "gelöscht" dort stehen, bleiben einfach anstatt richtig gelöscht zu werden. Dadurch steht oben immer eine hohe Anzahl von Aufgaben obwohl es keine aktiven Aufgaben mehr sind.

Dokumente in die Zwischenablage kopieren
Dokumente aus einer Suche, evtl. auch eine Mehrzahl davon per Multiselect, sollten in die Zwischenablage kopierbar sein, damit sie in weiteren Anwendungen (Outlook, Word, etc.) zur weiteren Bearbeitung eingefügt werden können.
Die aktuell verfügbaren Methoden lassen zu wünschen übrig:
- "Herunterladen" erzeugt eine Datei im Dateisystem, die dann 1) gefunden und 2) dann in die Zwischenablage kopiert werden muss. Das ist umständlich und bricht den Arbeitsfluss. Ohne Dateizugriff (z.B. Citrix Seamless Windows) ist das gar nicht möglich.
- "Herunterladen" von mehreren Dokumenten fügt noch den Zwischenschritt ein, eine ZIP-Datei entpacken zu müssen.
- "Senden per Mail" benutzt die Windows MAPI-Schnittstelle, bei der Outlook…

A required fields in store dialog affect documnet processing
When I adding required fields in store dialog and then go to document processing I see the notification that configuration will not work properly. Like this:
"This configuration will not work due to the following errors. Do you want to save it nevertheless?• The following fields must not remain empty • Contract Type"Below the list of required fields from store dialog
