Expiration date for DocuWare Forms
When creating a form, have an option to set an expiration date after which the form will be deleted and not appear anymore in the Forms list of the web client. This can be useful for time-sensitive campaigns, such as RSVP'ing to an event or entering a contest.

Allow signatures on a prefilled form
I would like to be able to prefill forms with information and allow users to select the forms and obtain a signature using the signature control. For example, I want a dispatcher to fill out all of the delivery information onto a delivery ticket, which a driver will receive through DocuWare. Upon delivery, the driver can open the delivery ticket form and allow the recipient to apply their signature acknowledging delivery.

make merge form fields wrap text if needed
On certain documents, it would be helpful to be able to wrap text to fill a box. there may not be much side to side room to overlay the form data, but there can be top to bottom room.

Formularfunktion in Workflows nutzen
Aktuell werden Formulare als PDF in DocuWare abgelegt und können nach der Ablage nicht mehr bearbeitet werden.
Schön wäre es, wenn ein Formular als Formular in einem Workflow weiterverwendet werden könnte. Eine Abteilung füllt einen Teil des Formulars aus und legt es ab. Das startet einen Workflow, in dem weitere Felder im Formular von weiteren Mitarbeitern gefüllt werden können. Über ein bearbeitbares PDF kann so etwas mit dem Foxit Reader umgesetzt werden, ist aber sehr umständlich.4 votes -
forms on ipad
There should be an option to set forms to display in desktop view on mobile devices such as an iPad as a mobile view is to narrow for the screen size of a tablet.

Formatierung von Feldern in der mobilen Ansicht von Docuware Forms ermöglichen.
DocuWare Forms wird bei unseren Kunden immer beliebter. Gerade auch auf Tablets und Smartphones wird die Anwendung immer häufiger als Zusatznutzen empfunden.
Nun habe ich festgestellt, dass die Felder in der mobilen Ansicht immer nach der Reihenfolge der Anlage angezeigt werden. Muss ich also zwischendrin mal ein Feld nachträglich einfügen oder die Reihenfolge ändern, stimmt die Reihenfolge in der mobilen Ansicht nicht mehr.
Bei Formularen mit vielen Feldern ist das gelinde gesagt ungünstig, da das Feld dann aus dem Kontext gerissen ist.
Dies sollte mann auch in der mogilen Ansicht konfigurieren können.

Add location services to populate Forms in the field
Adding the ability to capture cell phone location on a Form so for use cases where you have remote users filling out forms they can 1) Not have to enter address 2) Be used as "proof" they were at the site.

Select a role as a select list for drop down lists in DocuWare Forms
I want to be able to populate a drop down list with users from a role, without having to create a select list that mirrors the role.

In den Formular Eigenschaften von DocuWare Forms wäre es sinnvoll wenn mabn nicht nur eine Hintergrundfarbe hinterlegen kann sondern auch ein Bild.
Des Weiteren wäre es zweckmäßig wenn man mindestens zwei Felder in einer Zeile platzieren könnte.
4 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Zwei Felder können bereits in einer Zeile platziert werden. Das Einfügen von Hintergrundbildern planen wir nicht für zukünftige Veröffentlichungen. Wenn die Nachfrage nach diesem Thema steigt, werden wir diese Idee eventuell wieder aufgreifen.

dropdowns
Customers are confused by the new 7.12 forms and how they handle dropdowns. Before, they could just type text into the field as soon as they tab into it, and it would start filtering. Now, the field doesn't respond to them typing until they press Enter. This isn't a massive adjustment, but they have many, many users on the form, so re-training users is causing them headaches.

Gesamtes Tabellenfeld als Pflichtfeld im Formular definieren
Hallo,
aktuell fehlt die Möglichkeit das Tabellenfeld im Formular als Pflichtfeld zu markieren.
Es wäre schön wenn dies ähnlich wie im Workflow Designer vorgenommen werden könnte.
Der Benutzer muss dann mindestens eine Zeile der Tabelle ausfüllen.3 votes -
Convert form attachments to PDF
We have a form that employees use to submit credit card receipts. The form itself does come into DocuWare as a PDF. The attachments are in whatever format the employee attached, and this can’t change as they could be many various formats. We are looking for the ability in DocuWare to convert the form attachments to PDF during the form submission process.

Zeilenlimit/-anzahl einer Tabelle anhand eines Formularfelds dynamisch bestimmen
Es wäre von Vorteil, wenn innerhalb eines Formulars, das Zeilenlimit bzw. dessen vorgegebene Zeilenanzahl an ein Formularfeld (Nummernfeld, Radio, Dropdown) geknüpft werden kann.
So könnte man bspw. bei einer (Reisekosten-) Abrechnung auto. die Anzahl der Tage (zuvor berechnet oder fest angegeben) als Zeilenlimit, feste Zeilenanzahl oder als Vorgabe (Tabellenanzahl weiterhin durch Benutzer anpassbar) für Tabellenfelder nutzen.3 votes -
Dataianhang direkt scannen
In Forms sollte es möglich sein. Im Feld Dataianhang direkt über die Kamerafunktion zu scannen.
Hier sind leider nur Bilder möglich (Diese werden dann nicht der Größe des Formulars in DocuWare angepasst).
Wir umgehen momentan Dieses Problem, indem wir über OneDrive scannen und dann über Datei anfügen uns die gewünschte PDF aus OneDrive abholen. Dann passt auch das Format zum Formular.
Ist leider etwas umständlich.
Wenn es hier über die Kamerafunktion direkt gehen würde währe dies wesentlich einfacher.3 votes -
Expand Field Behaviors to Allow for Requiring a Minimum/Maximum Number of Entries for Checkboxes
Currently, In DocuWare, there is no easy way to require users to select a minimum or maximum number of boxes in a checkbox field.
This would also be useful for the Table type.

Formulare in Briefkorb ablegen!
Es wäre ein wichtiger Schritt, die Möglichkeit anzubieten, die Formulare in Briefkörbe übermitteln zu können. Die Formulare kann man aktuell zu einem Ablage Dialog zuordnen (was ein Workflow auslöst). Es wird vielles vereinfachen, wenn die Formulare auch in einem Briefkorb gehen können und dann erst durch Mitarbeiter in einem Ablage Dialog indexiert werden kann.

Es wäre total hilfreich, wenn unter Formulare ein kleines Bild des Formulars zu sehen wäre.

Manuelle Eingabe bei Dropdown
Bei der Forms Komponente Dropdown (Auswahlliste) soll eine optionale Option hinzugefügt werden, dass neben der Werte der Auswahlliste auch manuell eingegebene Werte möglich sind.
Grund:
So kann man den Kunden den Komfort der Auswahlliste bereitstellen und gleichzeitig die Flexibilität eines Textfeldes geben.3 votes -

It would be very interesting to be able to associate a single-line or multi-line text field with a selection list. We might have the ability to make some great form.

Open DocuWare Webforms from DocuWare Mobile App
I have prospects and customers needing to open DW Webforms from the DW Mobile App. They need to fill out forms, with attached photos and signatures, in the field on mobile devices recording incidents, accidents, and inspection results.
Opening webforms (many different types of forms) directly in a mobile device browser is unmanageable.
Authentication and navigation when Logging onto the DW Web Client from a mobile device is confusing and greatly detracts from " APP " experience that today's workers expect.
Can we add a "FORMS" tab on the DW Mobile Client toolbar like the one on the Web Client.
