Further restrict access to Restore documents in Trash Bin
Please add the ability to restrict access to the Restore button in the Trash Bin. The attached is where I would expect to find this control.
The following provides guidance when there is access to the Restore button, and to which documents the user may restore. I've summed it up like this, based upon File Cabinet permissions.
Those who are set as file cabinet Owner may see and Restore all deleted files.
A file cabinet User (who has delete permissions) may Restore only those documents they have deleted, this means that the Restore button exists.

Herunderladen von Dokumenten: Nicht in Unterverzeichnisse speichern (Auswahlmöglichkeit)
Beim Herunterladen von Dokumenten werden in den ZIP Dateien je Dokument ein Unterverzeichnis angelegt. Es wäre super, wenn alle Dateien in ein Verzeichnis angelegt werden, um diese weiterzuverarbeiten.
Wenn die Dateien z.B. an einen Steuerberater übertragen werden sollen müssen diese aus den Unterverzeichnissen herauskopiert werden, um weiterverarbeitet zu werden.10 votes -

Zur einfacheren Handhabung wünschen wir uns ein Vorschaufenster analog dem Windows-Explorer. Die Bitte wurde seitens diversen Kunden und Revisoren bei uns deponiert.

Bei einem Update den "DWSERVICES" wieder herausholen
Es wäre wirklich sehr schön, wenn wir oder der Kunde wieder alleine Entscheiden kann, wie der User der für das starten der Dienste benötigt wird, heißt. Bei einer Neuinstallation kann ich das ja noch verstehen, aber bei jeden Update, jedesmal den Namen ändern... Warum kann man den Namen nicht einfach auslesen?

Create data record with forms
I use forms for data entry all the time. I don't always need to store the document as long as I store the indexes. In forms it has the option of document format either letter or A4. Could data record be added to just store the indexes and not the form itself?

Add a possibility to share selected documents by a result list
It would be great to add a possibility to share selected documents. Example : if my result list contains 5 documents and i want to share 3 of them, i select them et and I get a link which creates a list of results with these 3 documents

Dateiname sollte eingentlich der Dokumentenname sein!!
Es sollte eigentlich so sein, dass der Dokumentenname (welcher man in der Kofnig auf ein bestehendens Feld setzen kann), auch automatisch der Dateiname in allen Anwendungen von DocuWare ist. Vor allem im Windows-Explorer-Client kommt es dadurch zu massieven beeinträchtigungen, da wenn man zB das Dokument demo.docx ablegt und nacher in demo_rev1.docx umbenennt, wird beim Öffnen immer noch der Name demo.docx angezeigt. Der Workaround mit speichern am Desktop und dann nochmals in die DW ziehen ist mühsam und absolut unnötig.

Every error message should be searchable. If I type a DW error message and don't get any results, I just do no understand that.

DW Dsesktop Dependencies need to be upgraded.
For DW Desktop to work properly, MS visual c++ redist 2010 needs to be installed.
This product is EoL and EoS from Microsoft years ago. This poses an security risk.
And larger companies escpesially, do not want to have old outdated components installed.9 votes -
Die OCR Erkennung bitte auch auf eingebettete Grafiken anwenden!
Man bekommt leider sehr viele PDF-Rechnungen, in denen das Briefpapier als Grafik hinterlegt ist. Die in den Grafiken wirklich sehr gut lesbaren Texte werden aktuell von der OCR nicht bearbeitet! Intelligent Indexing ist das nicht! Ich muss immer wieder abtippen, obwohl das gleiche Dokument einmal gedruckt und eingescannt ohne Probleme indexiert worden wäre! Bitte aktivieren Sie die Texterkennung in Grafiken innerhalb von PDF-Dateien! DANKE

Recycle Bin
Items we delete from DocuWare are archived, for this reason we do not need to keep items in the recycle bin for 30 days. We suggest to be able to amend the time period to keep or to activate or deactivate the functionality as it does take extra storage which we now have to manually sit an delete. A search option on the deleted items will also be handy to make it easy to restore a specific item.

Docuware cloud - add ablility to sort licenses by name
In Product Overview it would be nice to have the ability to sort the licenses by name or reorder the licenses so they are in alphabetical order. Currently it is hard to find licenses if you have more that 20.

Schreibschutz in Tabellenzeilen und Tabellspalten
Wir nutzen die Tabellenfunktion in der Rechnungsverarbeitung für eine Prüfung anhand von Kostenstellenbearbeitern. Der Bearbeiter wird nach Kostenstelle automatisch ermittelt. Es macht dabei Sinn, dass der Bearbeiter auch die Kostenstellen sieht für die er nicht zuständig ist, er aber dieselben in der Prüfung weder löschen noch verändern darf.
Dafür wäre es hilfreich, wenn in Tabellen a) Zeilen b) Spalten und c) Felder programmatisch gesperrt werden könnten im Workflow. Dabei wäre es sinnvoll wenn man bei den Feldrechten unterscheidet zwischen Hinzufügen, Ändern, Entfernen.

Table fields - Webhooks/Loops/API requests
DocuWare enabled table fields a few years back but never included a better work with table fields. For example there is no way to export table fields to external database without creating a data record from internal DW database. There also is not any solution to send the table field data through API request in workflow or webhooks.
Generally it would be nice to have the same possibility with table fields as with regular type fields.

Verlässliche Client-Nutzung auch unter macOS
Es wäre wunderbar, wenn man zumindest den DocuWare Client unabhängig des Betriebssystems verlässlich nutzen könnte.
Zum Beispiel ist es auf einem Apple MacBook kaum möglich normal durch Listen, oder Aufgaben mit vielen Dialogfeldern zu scrollen wenn man keine Maus anstecken kann/möchte.9 votes -

Integration with SharePoint Online
Many clients use Microsoft 365, formerly Office 365, including SharePoint Online. We have the requirement that documents processed in DocuWare workflows eventually be stored in SharePoint Online, to be accessed by non-DocuWare users. Storing to OneDrive may be an intermediate option.

In a workflow table field create a row for each item in a keyword field
I have a form with checkboxes that index in a keyword field. I would like to create a row in a table field for each of those keywords in a workflow. If I set up the default value to be the keyword field it puts all of them in one row. That isn't very helpful.

Wiedervorlagen als Client-Funktion (Out-Of-The-Box)
Ähnlich wie die Funktion "Anfrage senden" wünsche ich mir eine fest eingebaute Funktion für Wiedervorlagen mit folgenden Features:
- ein oder mehrere Empfänger
- Fälligkeit
- Entscheidung, ob ein User oder alle User die Aufgabe erledigen müssen
- Benachrichtigung per Mail ja/nein
- Ansicht zur Überwachung und Steuerung bereits zugeteilter WVL
- Ansicht für empfangene Wiedervorlagen
Warum keinen Workflow hierfür nutzen?
- Das bauen eines WVL-Workflows für mehrere Benutzer ist sehr komplex. Entsprechend viel Debugging ist erforderlich. Also eine sehr zeitintensive Angelegenheit.
- Als Überwachungsfunktion eignet sich leider nur die Controller-Funktion, mit der der Controller dann aber alle WVL-Aufgaben sieht, nicht nur die eigenen.9 votes
