Im Workflow Designer wäre es hilfreich, wenn man bei aktiven und wartenden Instanzen den aktuellen Zustand sehen könnte.
- In welchem Knoten / Aktivität befindet sich die Instanz momentan.
- Welche Werte haben die globalen Variablen.

Automatische Wiederherstellung von Datenbankverbindungen in importierten Workflows
Beim Import vorkonfigurierter Lösungen über den LocalData Connector sollten Workflows bestehende Datenbankverbindungen automatisch erkennen, sofern die Datenquellen identische Namen und Strukturen besitzen. Aktuell ist das nicht möglich, da die Workflows im Hintergrund nicht mit den Tabellennamen, sondern mit GUIDs arbeiten. Dadurch werden beim Import keine Verknüpfungen zu den vorhandenen Datenquellen hergestellt, auch wenn diese strukturell identisch sind.
In der Praxis bedeutet das, dass sämtliche Workflow-Zuordnungen manuell neu verbunden werden müssen – ein erheblicher zeitlicher und organisatorischer Aufwand, insbesondere bei umfangreichen Lösungen mit vielen Datenquellen.
Eine Funktion zur automatischen oder halbautomatischen Wiederherstellung der Verbindungen beim Import würde diesen Prozess deutlich vereinfachen.…

Request to Enable User Selection by Full Name in Workflow Task User Lists
Currently, in the user list displayed on workflow tasks, only the logged-in user can be selected. We would like to request a feature that allows users to be selected based on their full name, combining First Name and Last Name. This would improve usability and clarity when assigning tasks within workflows.

In DW gibt es beim Workflow-Designer (egal ob das alte oder das neue, welches noch kommt), durch veröffentlichen eine neue Version zu erstellen.
Diesen kann man gegebenenfalls wiederherstellen.
Allerding sind diese Versionen kaum auseinander zu halten.
Daher mein Vorschlag, dass beim Veröffentlichen eines Workflows ein Textfeld ausgefüllt wird, in dem man Beschreiben kann, was in dieser Version geändert wurde.
So ähnlich wie man es unter git kennt.Von der Umsätzung wäre es auch nicht viel.
In der Datenbank gäbe es dazu ein Feld mehr und im Workflowdesigner müsste beim Veröffentlichen ein Textfeld abgefragt werden.2 votes -
Workflow Designer : please improve the font selection dialog of the stamps.
We are having trouble with stamping characters out of frame when using an unsupported font from the font selection dialog in the task's stamp settings.
This is because the font selection dialog in DocuWare’s workflow designer (especially when configuring stamps in tasks) seems to displays all fonts installed on your operating system.
We hope you can improve this function by either changing the list of fonts so that only supported fonts can be chosen, or by increasing the types of fonts supported.2 votes -
Filtern von Workflow-Aufgaben über Datumswerte mit Zeitangabe
Wenn man eine Suche ausführt und in der Ergebnisliste ein Datumsfeld mit Zeitangabe hat, kann man die Ergebnisliste nach Datum und Zeit filtern. Das geht in der Workflow-Aufgabenliste leider nicht. Hier kann man bspw. im "Erhalten am" Feld nur nach einem Datum Filtern obwohl die Zeitangabe mit dabei stehen würde. Bitte die Filter-Funktion hier um die Zeitangabe erweitern!

Diese „KI-fähige“ Darstellung würde es ermöglichen, den Workflow als strukturierten Code auszugeben, der direkt mit externen KI-Systemen verarbeitet werden kann – z. B. zur automatisierten Dokumentation, Analyse oder Anpassung durch generative KI.
Durch die Integration dieser Funktion könnte man Workflows schneller verstehen, effizienter dokumentieren und gezielt weiterentwickeln – mit Unterstützung moderner KI-Tools wie ChatGPT & Co.

CSV Export Aufgabenlisten mit Filter
Es wäre sehr nützlich wenn beim CSV Export aus Aufgabenlisten auch der Filter greifen würde.
Beispiel:
Im Rechnungs-Workflow hat man mehrere Aktivitäten (Freigabe, Buchung, Zahlung, usw.).
Ich filtere nach Aktivität "Zahlung", exportiere die CSV und kann mir Summen für die Überweisungen ziehen.2 votes -
Allow Sorting when pulling data to tablefield
When pulling rows into a table field using the adopt all rows in a fixed order, you should be able to set an order using an order by clause in the sql statement. Examples includes po lines items where you should be able to pull in the details order by the po line number.

Tabellenfeld schreibgeschützt darstellen und weitere Einträge erlauben.
Es wäre gut wenn ein bereits beschriebenes Feld, in einer Tabelle im Workflow, gegen weiteres Beschreiben bzw. Ändern gesperrt werden könnte. Wenn ich für das Tabellenfeld schreibgeschützt auswähle, kann leider kein Eintrag mehr hinzugefügt werden.

Introduce a Brief Course on the Business Use Cases of Workflow
The LMS provides several courses for DSC's on the components of DocuWare Workflow and in fact a pre-requisite for the course is a DSC certification. It would be ideal that a short business course is designed for DSAs to aid them with understanding several business uses of workflow and mention them during their engagements with prospects. The business uses of workflow are indeed embedded in the various case studies listed on the DocuWare website . it would be ideal to so as to say extract such cases and centralize them. Such data would surely be appreciated for competitive advantage and…

Arithmetic Expression Table Column aggregation
In DW Version 7.10, only Sum(), Count() and Avg() are supported for aggregation of table field columns.
For me, that is currently sufficient. However, in several cases I need to create a Sum of the absolute values in a column, but Math.Abs() is only supported for single values and not for a column.Example:
ColumnAmount:
10,00
-3,00Sum(ColumnAmount) now returns 7. However, the result I need is 13.
Please provide Math.Abs() and/or similar functions for table column aggregation.

Workflow Aufgaben - Auswahlliste bearbeiten mit Link - wie bei der Ablage aus dem Briefkorb
Wenn in den Workflow-Entscheidungen einzelne Textfelder mit Auswahllisten belegt sind, sollte es möglich sein diese Auswahlliste zu bearbeiten. Die Idee ist hier das ganze wie bei der Ablage aus dem Briefkorb zu gestalten. Ein Link (Auswahlliste bearbeiten) erscheint im im Textfeld in der Aufgabe und der Benutzer gelangt auf die Auswahlliste in der Konfiguration.

Ability to use Roles instead of hard-coded user names in workflow designer's tasks validation
In workflow task validation (data input validation condition) use of Roles should be added currently (V7.5) only hard-coded user names can be specified so if the user needs to be removed or added (because employees change), it creates a new version of workflow and that causes issue because the change is only effective for new documents and not effective for the existing ones.

Add the ability to restore deleted Workflow Tasks
Without knowing we stopped workflows for employees that are no longer here. Tired of getting emails that wont deliver. We didnt realize this would stop the flow for all users. It would be nice if when a workflow is stopped that it is moved to the recycle bin where we can restore

Allow the workflow designer to change retry attempts for individual workflows.
KBA-36354 explains
How to change the count of retry attempts of failed tasks. There are 2 problems with this. First, it isn't an option in the cloud and second, it is system-wide. I have been creating workflows as a workaround to fill in table fields in merge forms. I could do all of the error checking to see if a row is in a table before filling in the document but it is time-consuming tedious work that is unnecessary because the workflow manager has error checking.
