Attempts to Logon by Inactive Accounts Notify Administrator
If an User Account is disabled by unchecking the Active checkbox, and the user attempts to logon to DocuWare, the user now gets a message that their account is inactive. We want the Administrator to be notified of the logon attempt.

Print the user authorisations directly from DW.
Please add a function to print the user authorisations directly from DW. A requirement from auditors is to get that print directly from the application. As a SOX company were are audited every 3 months on authorisations set up. Auditors always ask to get that list directly from our applications

Benutzersynchronisation aus der Kombination von zwei Active Directory Gruppen Active – Waiting
Es sollte bei der Benutzersynchronisation möglich sein, Benutzer nur dann zu synchronisieren, wenn Sie in zwei (oder mehreren) konkreten Active Directory-Gruppen sind.
Szenario: Es gibt eine Active Directory - Gruppe Niederlassungsleiter und eine Gruppe München. Nur wenn ein Benutzer in beiden Gruppen enthalten ist, soll dieser in die DocuWare Gruppe "Niederlassungsleiter München" importiert werden. Falls der Benutzer nur in einer der beiden Gruppen ist, soll keine Synchronisation erfolgen.
Dadurch müsste der Kunde nicht unnötig viele Active Directory-Gruppen anlegen (in diesem Fall eine Niederlassungsleiter-Gruppe pro Niederlassung).

Add ability for the DW admin to log off users.
More frequently we are receiving support calls from clients unable to login because a license is not available. Sometimes it's because users closed their browser and failed to Log Out of DW first. Other times, because a generic login is used and they are not sure who is actually logged in. In the DW administration tool you can see who is still logged in, but it would be helpful to be able to click their username and force a logout and immediately close the session from that same screen. Thank you for your consideration.

ausgewählte Auswahllisten von Benutzern bearbeiten
Momentan kann ich einem Benutzer im DW-Administrationstool die Berechtigungen zum bearbeiten von Auswahllisten geben.
Dies ist jedoch soweit verheerend, da die Berechtigung nicht auf eine Auswahlliste speziell verwiesen werden kann.Fallbeispiel:
Ich möchte, dass in unserem Vertragsarchiv die Auswahlliste nach der Vertragsnummer mit der Firma etc. verknüpft und validiert in der Ablagemaske erscheint. Jedoch sollen ausgewählte Benutzer (Finanzbuchhaltung) diese Auswahlliste erweitern dürfen. Wenn diese Abteilung nun die Berechtigung Auswahllisten zu bearbeiten erhält, sieht sie auch alle anderen Auswahllisten in der Konfiguration und kann diese ändern.Dies sollte so nicht sein.

Product Overview should be accessible for some users
It would be good to be able to allow certain users to have access to "Product Overview" in the Configuration so that they can reassign user licenses and check the capacity of the system etc. without having to be a full system admin.

Separate File Cabinet Creation Permission under functional profile
Once the user added to "Owner" file cabinet profile to manage file cabinet Dialog, Database fields, and permission, the user needs to have "File Cabinets" permission under functional profile.

DocuWare Cloud - Auswahl der zu installierenden DocuWare Desktop Apps pro Benutzer
Bei der DocuWare Cloud Version sollte es möglich sein, als Administrator festzulegen, welcher Benutzer welche DocuWare Desktop Apps installieren darf.
So verursacht beispielsweise die Installation vom DocuWare Local Data Connector Probleme mit Fremdsoftware. Die Installation dieser App, sollte nicht an betreffenden Clients möglich sein.

Allow adhoc input for the AD Attribute I want to Synchronize with the User Sync Tool
In the Cloud Active Directory Sync tool there are only two choices for what attribute to sync to DW for the user name: sAMAccountName and userPrincipalName and they are hard coded into the tool.
I suggest that the attribute be a fill in box that allows me to select the attribute that I want to sync much like the on premise one does. I have accounts that use the employeeID attribute to be their DW username so that a filter can be set up for them to only see their document when they log in.

Anmeldung mit alternativen Microsoft Windows-Konto
Guten Tag,
es wäre hilfreich, wenn man sich bei der Anmeldemaske nicht nur mit seinem eigenen, sondern auch einem alternativen Windows-Konto anmelden kann.Szenario: Es gibt einen PC, der in der Domäne ist und auf dem immer der gleiche Benutzer angemeldet ist.
Bei den Webanwendungen hingegen muss ich jeder Benutzer mit seinem eigenen ActiveDirectory-Account anmelden.
Eine Anmeldung mit dem DocuWare-Login ist allerdings leider keine Alternative.

Umgehung jeglicher Anmeldefenster bei URL-Integration und Windows-Authentifizierung
Bei Verwendung der URL-Integration aus einer Drittanwendung heraus kommt es bei Verwendung der Windows-Authentifizierung beim Kunden zuweilen vor, dass das DocuWare-Anmeldefenster erscheint, dort ggf. erst Windows-Anmeldung eingestellt und das Häkchen "Angemeldet bleiben" gesetzt werden muss. Unser Kunde wünscht sich, dass dies nicht stattfindet und sich stattdessen sofort der Webclient öffnet.

Add a feature
Add a feature to the DocuWare Administration to block access to the DocuWare system with the .NET API for particular users. Any user who has an account on DocuWare system can get access with API. I would like to have a possibility to block it.

Anzeige von tatsächlichen Zugriffsberechtigungen eines Dokuments
Derzeit ist es für einen User nicht ersichtlich, welche Benutzer tatsächlich Zugriff auf ein bestimmtes Dokument haben. Das ist sehr intransparent und gerade bei sensiblen Dokumenten kritisch.
Im Moment kann eine Prüfung nur manuell durch einen Administrator über die Auswertung der Indexprofile/Rollen/Benutzer-Zuordnung durchgeführt werden.
Schön wäre eine Funktion ‚tatsächliche Zugriffsberechtigungen anzeigen‘ z.B. im Kontextmenü mit der man eine Liste der Benutzernamen angezeigt bekäme, die aktuell aufgrund der bestehenden Indexprofile Zugriff auf das jeweilige Dokument haben. Das wäre sehr transparent und jeder User könnte sofort überprüfen, dass tatsächlich nur die Benutzer Zugriff auf das Dokument haben, denen es auch gestattet sein…

Nutzer incl. Briefkorb über AD (Active Directory) löschen
Bei der Synchronisation mit dem einem AD sollte es optional möglich sein, den Nutzer und seinen Briefkorb zu löschen, wenn der entsprechende Nutzer aus dem Active Directory entfernt wird.

Allow Windows login to specify user
Currently Windows Login only automatically logs you in as whatever account you're currently signed into the Windows session with. It would be great to also allow an option to specify a different windows user. This would be highly beneficial for IT admins who need to jump from account to account, like admin or SA accounts vs personal accounts.

E-Mail Benachrichtigung bei Passwort Änderung
Wenn ein User sein Passwort ändert, dann soll eine E-Mail an den Admin versandt, dass der User sein Passwort geändert hat.

Aktivierung der Abwesenheit ab eingetragenenm Datum
Es wäre gut, wenn die "tatsächliche" Abwesenheit ab eingetragenem Datum (im Feld "von") und nicht schon zum Zeitpunkt des Setzens des Hakens aktiviert wird (Mein Profil -> Abwesenheitseinstellungen).
Es ist irreführend, da hier noch die Datumsfelder mit angegeben werden)2 votes -

Add a Request Support button to the WebClient GUI that a user can use to log a query that will notify the system defined Docuware Administrators - ie Request for Support, or Issue Report

Allow restrictions of access to the Cloud from some workstations and/or only work hours
A prospect would like to restrict Cloud access to their personnel to only be allowed from their internal network or specifically authorized outside workstations. Is this possible? They do not want to use VPN to connect externally to their internal network and then to the Cloud. Are specific hours of operation available? Any suggestions will be welcome.
