LDAP-Synchronisation: Mehrere verschiedene Benutzernamen ignorieren
Bei der Benutzersynchronisierung über LDAP (Active Directory) sollte es möglich sein, eine Liste von Benutzernamen zu hinterlegen, welche grundsätzlich ignoriert werden.

Be able to suppress "Please Complete My Profile" bubble without filling all fields
in 6.11, users now see "Please Complete My Profile" every time they log in. Please add a way for the admin to remove this pop up. The user shouldn't be forced to add their name, email and salutation if they do not want to.

Benutzer löschen
Wenn man einen Benutzer aus der Administration löschen will und dieser einen Briefkorb zugewiesen hat, kann man dieses Briefkorb nicht löschen, sondern muss man entweder sich es selber zuweisen oder mit dem Benutzer einloggen und es löschen.
Jedoch wenn man sich diese Briefkörbe zuweist, kann man diese - meines Wissens - nicht eindeutig markieren. Das führt zu einem hohen Aufwand die einzelnen Briefkörbe zu finden und zu löschen. Oft findet man diese Briefkörbe auch nicht mehr, wenn es zu viele geworden sind.5 votes -
Restriction on FTP via Central Gateway Settings
With the Central Gateway Settings in Docuware.
We can declare IP address which can access to the platform.
It works for Docuware webapplication, but not for FTP. Even if i declare authorize IP.
Anyone can still access to the FTP.

Fehlermeldung - Archiv durch anderen Benutzer gesperrt
In den letzten Versionen kommt es immer häufiger bei der Konfiguration zu der lästigen Fehlermeldung beim speichern eines Archivs, dass das Archiv durch einen anderen Benutzer gesperrt sei.
Die Meldung kommt auch wenn man allein im System ist!
Man passt Listen in Dialogen an, geht jedes einzelne Feld durch, passt Reihenfolgen an und möchte final speichern -> und bekommt diese Fehlermeldung als Quittung. Arbeit der letzten halben Stunde für umsonst.
Bitte dringend beheben oder AutoSave einführen.

Fehlernachricht für normale, nicht technische Benutzer ausrichten.
Einige Fehlernachrichten sind für normale Benutzer zu technisch und führen zu Unsicherheit. Die Nachrichten sollten beginnen mit einen einfach verständlichen Text, gefolgt von den technischen Informationen.
Beispiel:
Ein Benutzer legt ein Dokument ab. Es wird aber nicht abgelegt, weil es wo anders noch geöffnet ist.
Die Meldung an den Benutzer sollte nun sein:
"Das Dokument xy kann nicht abgelegt werden, da es noch von xy verwendet wird und nicht geperrt werden kann."Im Moment wird der Benutzer mit dieser Nachricht verwirrt.
"Das Dokument xy kann nicht gesperrt werden, weil es bereits in einer anderen Session verwendet wird."Der Benutzer ist…

Interface paginée de gestion d'utilisateurs / Groupes / Rôles
lorsque l'installation contient un nombre extrêmement important d'utilisateurs (supérieur à 40k), ainsi qu'un nombre très important de groupes et rôles, il est difficile de manager cette partie.
Est-il possible d'optimiser cette gestion utilisateurs / groupes / rôles par de la paginations par exemple ?4 votes -

Add the ability (as an admin) to assume the identity of any user to test permissions & functionality without having to sign in as that user.
While configuring new features, or troubleshooting existing ones, it would be helpful to assume the identity of a user to test and debug different features, such as routes through a workflow, etc. For obvious security and auditing purposes, rather than tasks being logged as that user, it could read something like "Admin as UserName" in the logs.

JWT for login through API
For a server to server connection through API it is necessary to use a cookie at the moment and send the credentials as arguments.
We would like to have the option to use a JWT to login instead of a cookie. The cookie lasts for only 28 days and then the whole authentication process has to start again. Which means we have to send the username and password as arguments to the server on a monthly basis.

Separate File Cabinet Creation Permission under functional profile
Once the user added to "Owner" file cabinet profile to manage file cabinet Dialog, Database fields, and permission, the user needs to have "File Cabinets" permission under functional profile.

DocuWare Cloud - Auswahl der zu installierenden DocuWare Desktop Apps pro Benutzer
Bei der DocuWare Cloud Version sollte es möglich sein, als Administrator festzulegen, welcher Benutzer welche DocuWare Desktop Apps installieren darf.
So verursacht beispielsweise die Installation vom DocuWare Local Data Connector Probleme mit Fremdsoftware. Die Installation dieser App, sollte nicht an betreffenden Clients möglich sein.

Allow Windows login to specify user
Currently Windows Login only automatically logs you in as whatever account you're currently signed into the Windows session with. It would be great to also allow an option to specify a different windows user. This would be highly beneficial for IT admins who need to jump from account to account, like admin or SA accounts vs personal accounts.

Passwords should not be repeated in in the last 12, 60 day cycles.
A user should not be able to alternate between the same two passwords.

Benutzerabhägige Selects z.B. bei Auswahllisten (CURRENTUSER)
Bei Indexprofilen und Aufgabenlisten hat man die Möglichkeit bei den SQL Statements mit CURRENTUSER zu arbeiten. Wenn diese Möglichkeit auch z.B. bei den Auswahllisten möglich wären, könnte man die Konfiguration erheblich vereinfachen. Gerade in Hinblick auf benutzerabhängige Berechtigungen .

Benutzersynchronisation ab 7.12 verbessern/erweitern
Mit der neuen Benutzersynchronisierung (Benutzerbereitstellung über App-Registrierung) fehlen elementare Optionen:
- Es wird automatisch eine Mail an die synchronisierten User geschickt, diese Entscheidung muss meiner Meinung nach auf DocuWare Seite liegen und nicht pauschal erfolgen!
- Es wird immer ein Userbezogener Briefkorb angelegt, der dann auch noch pauschal INBOX heißt. Auch diese Entscheidung muss meiner Meinung nach auf DocuWare Seite konfiguriert werden können.Macht der IT-Dienstleister oder die IT des Kunden einen Fehler und synchronisiert das komplette AD, haben wir die Umgebung erstmal vollgemüllt und müssen alles manuell löschen. There are some situations, like if there is a guest user account or if there are certain security requirements for users, where restricting access to change usernames, passwords, tool visibility, etc. could be helpful.

Standardverbindung der einzelnen Benutzer in Administration/Konfiguration anzeigen
Es wäre von Vorteil, wenn die aktiven DocuWare Desktop Apps Standardverbindungen der einzelnen Benutzer in der Administration/Konfiguration eingesehen werden können.
In der DocuWare Administration können mehrere Webverbindungen hinterlegt werden. Aktuell kann nicht ohne zutun des jeweiligen Benutzers herausgefunden werden, welche Standardverbindung für die Desktop Apps verwendet wird.
Plant man eine Umstellung der Webverbindungen, ist dies derzeit mit einem gewissen (Support-) Aufwand verbunden.Durch eine Übersicht könnte man in Voraus gezielt die Benutzer ansprechen, welche bspw. noch die alte Webverbindung nutzen bzw. es wäre leichter einzuschätzen, wie viel Supportaufwand nach einer Umstellung kommt.
