Docuware Cloud should enable reserve ip address ranges for private use as Azure already do it.

Printer PS in die Desktop-Apps integrieren
Es wäre bei manchen Systemen hilfreich, wenn der Printer PS in die Installation der Desktop-Apps integriert wäre.
Hier könnte man die Installation bei bekannten Problemen mit dem Standard DocuWare-Printer vereinfachen.3 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Leider ist die vollständige Integration der Installation des Printer PS Setups in unser Client Setup nicht möglich.

Dokumente nach dem Scannen zuschneiden
Da die Dokumentengröße sich zur Zeit auf die gängigen DIN-Formate beschränkt, wäre es wünschenswert die Scans im Nachgang beschneiden zu können. Alternativ wäre eine automatische Formaterkennung in der Desktop-App oder eine Möglichkeit eigene Formate einzugeben.

Verlauf zuletzt abgelegter Dokumente
Eine Verlaufsansicht der zuletzt abgelegten (z.B. 10) Dokumente soll helfen gleich wieder auf diese zugreifen zu können.
Viele Nutzer legen oft ein Dokument aus Ihrem Papierkorb ab und wollen von diesem dann den Link teilen. Hierzu müssen Sie dann dieses Dokument was eben abgelegt wurde, regulär über die Suche finden.

Erfassung und Auswertung von Postleitzahlen (mit Länderkennung)
Leider ist es in DW bisher nicht möglich, Postleitzahlen als solche zu erfassen und wieder auszuwerten. Bisher geht dies nur als Zahlenfeld - dann jedoch mit dem Problem, dass führende Nullen nicht erfasst werden können (Bsp.: Chemnitz - PLZ: 09111) oder als Textfeld - dann jedoch mit dem Problem, dass keine Postleitzahlenbereiche (Bsp.: 95440 - 95449) als Auswertungsmöglichkeit in der Suchfunktion bestehen. Hier wäre es von großem Vorteil, wenn man ein Postleitzahlenfeld erstellen könnte welches so gestaltet ist, dass man je nach Länderkennung auch das passende Postleitzahlenformat eintragen und auswerten kann.

Desktop Apps Verbindung per Script setzen
Es wäre vorteilhaft, die Verbindungseinstellungen automatisch scriptgesteuert zu verteilen. Insbesonders für Kunden, deren Angestellte zwar die Desktop Apps z.B. wegen Printer, bzw. Edit & Send verwenden, aber nicht direkt in DocuWare arbeiten, sondern diese nur über Integration nutzen.

Log which duplicate import configurations are found
When using automatic identification on Import/Printer/Scan configurations, sometimes a document may match multiple configurations, and rerouted to the default inbox. The log file mentions that "more than one configuration was found" but it doesn't tell us which ones it matches. Troubleshooting requires opening each configuration and checking the identification settings. This is very time consuming if there are many import configurations.

Office Vorlagen sollen sich beim Anklicken verhalten, wie man es bei Windows erwartet
Wenn Office Vorlagen in DW zur Verfügung gestellt werden, dann öffnet sich bei Bearbeiten nicht, wie sonst unter Windows, eine Kopie der Vorlage sondern die Vorlage selbst. In den seltensten Fällen ist es erwünscht, dass sich die Vorlage selbst zur Bearbeitung öffnet, vielmehr soll eine Kopie für ein neues Dokument erzeugt werden (Windows konformes Verhalten)

Automate DesktopApp default connection to PlatformRO
When deploying DWDesktopApp there is a script on the DW FAQ site called "DocuWareXXDesktopAppsSilent_Install.bat". This can be used to automate the deployment of DWDesktopApp. The problem is the portion that directs the creation of the default connection does not work with PlatformRO. You must manually log into your Read Only Platform site and use the "Connect Desktop Apps" option.
I would be great if customers who purchased RO and SmartConnect could automate the creation of the default connection to PlatformRO as well as have a visual representation in the DesktopApp that showed the app's connection was…

Ich hätte gern die Option in der DW-Printer-Konfiguration (zur Version 6.8 gefragt), dass ein Anwender auch die Möglichkeit hat im DW-Printer statisch eine CFG auswählen kann - mit optionaler fixer Vorbelegung neben dem bisherigen "-AUTOMATISCH-"
Wenn eine statische Fallback-CFG besser umzusetzen wäre, dann gern auch das (wählbar durch den Anwender)

Meldung beim Druck von PDF-Dateien mit dem DWPrinter
Beim Versuch, eine PDF-Datei mit dem DWPrinter zu drucken sollte eine Meldung erscheinen, daß PDF-Dateien vom DWPrinter nicht unterstützt werden. Hintergrund: Einige Kunden benutzen zur Ablage von vorhandenen oder neu erstellten Dateien den DWPrinter, was allerdings, wie bekannt, bei PDF-Dateien nicht funktioniert. Da kann diese Meldung als Hinweis dienen, damit der User hier die PDF-Dateien evtl. über den DWImport in DocuWare archiviert.

Nutzung des Explorer Clients (WEC) in publizierten Applikationen (Citrix)
Große Kunden nutzen neben dem Published Desktop unter Citrix auch publizierte Applikationen. Diese haben jeweils Zugriff auf einen Teil der Windows Explorer Funktionalitäten (öffnen, speichern unter usf.). Wenn man im publizierten Windows Explorer nun den Zugriff auf das Archiv über den DocuWare Windows Explorer Client nutzen will, kommt man bisher nicht weiter.

Allow Editing of Local Data Connector Connection Details Through the UI
According to KBA-35754, connection details cannot be edited and users must delete and recreate the connection.
However, the Local Data Connector UI allows users to edit and save connection details. This creates confusion because the documented behavior does not match the actual UI.
In a recent customer case, updating connection settings would have required reviewing nearly 100 workflows if the connection had to be recreated, resulting in significant administrative effort.
Our testing showed that editing connection details directly in the LDC UI worked successfully without issues.

Implement a switch in the installer that prevents the creation of the desktop icon
After every installation or update of the DocuWare Desktop Apps, a desktop shortcut is automatically created. Currently, there is no option to control whether this shortcut should be created or not.
In many environments, this shortcut is not needed at all. In our case, it causes confusion for end users, who often assume that the desktop icon is a direct access to the organization’s DocuWare cloud portal. As a result, users expect web access and become unsure when the application behavior does not match that expectation, generating unnecessary support tickets.

Smart Connect SSO (SingleSignOn)
Es wäre schön, wenn die Möglichkeit bei Smart Connect Konfigurationen, insbesondere Smart Search, bestehen würde, dass man einstellen kann, ob z.B. die Smart Search automatisch das SingleSignOn durchführen würde.
Wir haben nämlich den Fall, dass die User auf einem Terminalserver aus der Software Vias Kundenakten in DocuWare einsehen möchten, ansonsten wird das DocuWare kaum verwendet.
Weswegen ein automatisches SSO in Smart Search/Smart Connect, schön wäre, sodass die entsprechenden Listen direkt geladen werden.
Vielleicht kann man das Umsetzen, dass das man in den Konfigurationen von Smart Connect einstellen kann, z.B. über eine Checkbox.

Allow a workflow to work with multiple merge forms.
I have forms that complete multiple merge forms. Several of these forms have a name and I use a workflow to combine the first and last name to put the full name on the form. It would be nice if I could do this with 1 workflow rather than a separate workflow for each merge form.
