1. add columns to workflow designer.

   When workflow designer opens there is a tab for overview. That tab has a page with columns consisting of File cabinet, Name, Creation date, Versions, Active instances, and Published. Adding columns for applies to form and merge form would be very helpful. I have an enrollment form that completes 14 merge forms. I recently updated it to use table fields and use my workflow to fill in tables that used to be completed by individual fields in the form. A quick look to see workflows associated with that form would have been very helpful to see what needed updating. I attached two pictures for a better idea of what I am talking about.

2. Das Intervall des Desktop Services sollte durch eine Einstellung konfigurierbar sein

   Aktuell wird der Job etwa alle zwei Sekunden ausgeführt und initialisiert jedes Mal den Datenbanktreiber neu. Das hat zur Folge, dass ein entsprechend hoher Aufwand entsteht, der sich in CPU-Last und außerordentlich vielen Events im ProcessMonitor äußert.
   Wir beobachten mit dem ProcessMonitor sobald die DocuWare Desktop Apps unter Windows installiert sind, respektive die DocuWare.Desktop.exe und DocuWare.DesktopService.exe laufen, innerhalb von fünf Minuten etwa 900.000 Events mehr im Gegensatz zu einem Windows ohne DocuWare Desktop Apps. Für dieses Verhalten dieser beiden Prozesse ist keine aktive Nutzung der DocuWare Desktop Apps erforderlich.

3. Automatic identification import job failed to selected inbox

   Use 1 named account for DocuWare Desktop Connection in file server. Got different projects using automatic identification document processing import job, when failed, it will transfer to this 1 named account default inbox.
   Which is undesirable when different group of people involve different projects.

   Should have an option to choose which inbox whenever automatic identification failed.

5. Man sollte aus der Suche heraus gleich in den "normalen" Bearbeitungsstatus gelangen können.

   Wenn man z.b. einen Anruf bekommt, eine bestimmte Rechnung sucht und findet, kann man nicht weiter bearbeiten. Man muss dann wieder in seine Aufgaben und dort die Rechnung suchen und kann dort erst "Ablehnen", "Freigeben" oder was auch immer.

6. DWForms: Verwenden von mehreren Vorlagen und Auswahl Formular anhand Filter

   Zurzeit bilden wir dynamische Bestellungen in Forms mit einem Formular ab, dadurch kommt es jedoch zu verschiedenen Problemen, zum Beispiel bei der Berechnung des Gesamtpreises da hier ja alle Felder für die Berechnung gefüllt sein müssen und das in unserem dynamischen Formular nicht der Fall ist, funktioniert die Berechnung nicht.

7. Instant execution of a scheduled workflow

   A possibility to execute a scheduled workflow instantly. This could be an option in the Workflow Designer. It is not very optimal when you have to reschedule a workflow again and again when testing the workflow functionality. Apart from testing, the instant execution button would be beneficial in many other cases as well.

9. Add more DW printers for the source applications to choose amoung

   1. Users cannot now choose what local printer the hardcopy will goto.

   2. Sometimes they just want to store the doc into DW without generating paper printouts.

   3: Screenshots can be saved also.

10. Datumsindexfeld im Windows Explorer Client

    Datumsindexfeld im Windows Explorer Client wird zwar in Ansicht richtig sortiert, aber bei Filtern wird es nur nach Buchstaben sortiert. In Filter sollte Datumfeld auch nach Datum sortiert werden. Es ist deutlich leichter für Benutzer in Filter die getroffene Datum zu selektieren.

11. DocuWare Cloud Desktop Apps has to support install on AWS EC2 environment.

    Currently, Desktop Apps is not supported for AWS EC2 environment.

    As our customers, they need to prepare a Client PC for folder monitoring. As a customer's IT policy in their company, a terminal PC that always starts cannot install on company.
    They want to have a PC for that in a cloud such as AWS outside the company.

12. Change Log Collector, it should collect all current log files

    Currently when I open a support case with DocuWare I am always asked to add log files. I do not always remember where they are. It is troublesome to always have to navigate and select the correct log files.
    The Log Collector provided by DocuWare only collects files from DocuWare Desktop Apps. Wouldn't it be possible to collect all logfiles within the last 24 hours?
    Sometimes I have issues with Local Data Connector, sometimes I have problems with Auto-Index. I would like to have one way how I can provide all relevant information to DocuWare support.
    It would be great if Log Collector could do all the work for all processes and modules.

13. Option to control email notifications generated by Directory User Synchronization

    Every time the Directory User Synchronization Desktop App creates a new User it will send an email to the user, requesting the user to set a DocuWare password.

    Several problems with the current behavior:
    The Tool does not contain any warning that this email is sent to the user.
    When using Active Directoy Single Sing On, there is no need for the user to even set this password.
    When running a test and a production system, there is no way to know which system the mail is from.
    The email is sent in the server operating system language, which generates issues in multi-language environments.

    Enhancement requests:
    Add an option to disable these emails completely.
    Supply a way to modify the subject of the email, for example to add the environment name (Test / Production).
    Add a way to handle multi-language environments.

    Using the old LDAP Sync in DocuWare Administration is not a solution, as it will not generate the per user baskets, as the new tool does.

    Every time the Directory User Synchronization Desktop App creates a new User it will send an email to the user, requesting the user to set a DocuWare password.

14. DWCould: Vorabinformation über DocuWare Desktop Apps Updates

    Bei Kunden welche z.B. Citrix einsetzen ist ein zyklisches Silent DocuWare Desktop App Update oft nicht möglich.

    Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn der Kunde und der DocuWare Partner vor einem Update, welches eine Komponente der DocuWare Desktop Apps betrifft, eine Information erhalten würde. Diese sollte Zeitpunkt vom Update, betreffende DocuWare Desktop App Komponenten und eine Updatebeschreibung beinhalten.

15. Preview Windows capability in WEC

    For documents stored on a local machine, users are able to preview the document by hitting the 'View' option in File Explorer and then selecting 'Preview plane'. Once a document is selected, a preview is displayed, which allows the user to now have to open the document to read it.

    This would be a nice feature for WEC if users didn't have to:
    1) Download and open the file
    2) Open the file in Web Viewer

    Thank you for your idea. Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.

18. Perform identification on every page scanned to dynamically select different processing configurations.

    Improve batch scanning functionality to allow different configurations to be identified without having to perform different scan jobs. We have multiple automatic identification configurations working fantastic but still have to perform each separate configuration as an entirely different scan. We already have these identifying perfectly each time we scan without selecting a configuration. Scan config 1 with multiple separators and index that entire batch at once. Then without changing any scan settings send config 2 batch through and it identifies and splits and index correctly. Why can we not mix the batches together and when it encounters identification page/config 1 use that config, then when it sees identification page/config 2 use that one. It doesn't make sense that we have to perform entirely separate scans and identification is only performed on the first encountered identifier.

19. WEC - Sofortige Verbindung gleich nach dem Öffnen

    Da der WEC keinen auto-refresh nutzt muss das erste Synchronisieren der Daten leider von Hand geschehen. Dies ist der erste Klick auf den WEC.

    Die Verbindung sollte automatisch gleich nach dem Öffnen des WEC aufgebaut werden, ohne zuerst darauf klicken zu müssen.
