Synchronization of file cabinets should allow for at least one version difference
Synchronization used to allow a difference of at least one version. Now both on-premise and Cloud systems need to be on the same version. This greatly complicates matters because one cannot always upgrade on-premise systems to suit the Cloud upgrade calendar, least of all when a hardware change is required.

Be able to know the space of each file cabinet
Right now we can know the system space, but not the file cabinets space. If we want to know which is the biggest file cabinet, we should open a ticket with DocuWare Support.

Volltextsuche als Kriterium in einer Liste
Wenn ich eine Volltextsuche im WebClient starte dann kann ich die anschließende Ergebnisliste als Aufgabenliste speichern und hab somit eine Volltextsuche als Kriterium in einer Liste.
Bei den konfigurierten Listen in der WebKonfiguration ist es allerdings nicht möglich ein Volltext-Kriterium zu hinterlegen. Das wäre aber bei vielen Kunden von uns hilfreich.2 votes -

I suggest to translate to different languages, not only the web interface and the system entries, you could also add the name of the file cabinets and their fields.

Konfiguration der Feldnamen in den Dialogen
Wenn ich aktuell Felder im Archiv anlege und möchte den Datenbanknamen anders haben wie den Feldnamen (bspw. für einen Archivumzug) dann muss ich den Feldnamen beim anlegen so wie den Datenbanknamen eintragen. Anschließend ändere ich die Feldnamen (Anzeigenamen) aber wieder ab damit diese in den Dialogen richtig dargestellt werden. Jetzt ist es aber so, dass die Datenbanknamen als "Feldname im Dialog" eingetragen werden und diese kann ich noch nicht mal rauslöschen, weil das Feld sich autom. mit dem Vorwert füllt wenn ich es leere. Wenn ich jetzt doch den Feldnamen als Dialogfeldname haben möchte muss ich ihn also per Hand…

Add a feature to automatically update the xml files in file cabinet to match database changes
It would be very helpful if .xml files were kept in sync with the DocuWare index database automatically.
As it stands now, if there is database corruption that exists beyond the timeframe of database backups, any index edits can be lost.
This feature would also help future upgrades and data moves from having corrupt or missing index data. We recently discovered a file cabinet with database and xml issues. It was caused by some improper handling of past upgrades. The issues could have been minimized by syncing the xml files with the database.

Datumsfeld im Format MM.JJJ für Buchungsperioden
Es wäre wünschenswert ein Datenbankfeld (Datum) im Format MM.JJJJ zu haben, um beispielsweise eine Buchungsperiode im Format 06/2018 zu setzen und in der Suchemaske auch danach suchen zu können z.B. 01.-08.2018. Den Umweg über ein Textfeld mit Feldmaske lässt diese Suche nicht zu.Noch besser, Feldmasken lassen sich auch über Datumsfelder legen :)
2 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Im Augenblick konzentrieren wir uns auf andere Themen, deshalb planen wir diese Idee nicht für zukünftige Veröffentlichungen. Wenn die Nachfrage nach diesem Thema steigt, werden wir diese Idee eventuell wieder aufgreifen.

Have to get back ability to determine total number of documents in a file cabinet.
First the developers take away the ability to increase the number of documents in a result list. Now we can't even use 'Check FullText Status' to get a total amount of documents in a file cabinet.
Thankfully we only have 1 customer who uses DocuWare-Online, so at least we can query the database for most of our users.
When you migrate a customer to the cloud, there is no way to check to make sure if the file cabinets match when done.

Tool für XML-Archivstruktur Export / Import in höherer Version
ich möchte einen Kunden gänzlich neu aufbauen, da wir ein 5.1c nur über Zwischenschritte auf Version 6.11 bekommen. Nun gibt es ja einen Archiv-Struktur-Export in eine XML. Diese XML kann ich leider in 6.11 nicht importieren - es gibt eine Fehlermeldung Der Support sagt mir gerade: Es gibt nach wie vor nichts um das zu konvertieren.
Es ist auch leider nicht das erste Mal, dass ich dieses Problem habe.
Das sind bestimmt 2-3 Stunden Aufwand, das alles fehlerfrei neu zu konfigurieren. Ich wünsche mir daher ein Konvertierungs-Tool oder eine eingebaute Funktion, dass man auch von älteren DW-Versionen einen Archiv-Struktur-Export machen…2 votes -
Dokumentenvergleich bei Versionierung
Im Rahmen vom QM Anforderungen ist es oftmals gewünscht dass Änderungen zweier versionierter Dokumente visuell dargestellt werden können . Entweder Markierung wenn die beiden Dokumente in zwei Viewern angezeigt werden oder ähnlich des Versionsvergleichs bei MS Word.

An Index Field can be created so that document stored in the file cabinet can be automatically numbered e.g fin-001, fin-002, and next doc.
I want a situation whereby document given a unique id e.g fin-001, fin-002 should automatically store the next document as fin-003 when an index field is created for this purpose.
2 votesThis is partly added in version 6.10. You can add automatic numbering, but without the prefix “fin-”. This will be added in a later version.

Expose user-placed stamp coordinates to Workflow / Platform API
When a user manually places a stamp on a document, the position of that stamp can be semantically important.
A typical example is supplier invoice processing: a user places a stamp next to a specific invoice line to associate an internal article code with that exact line.
Currently, if a hidden stamp is used to collect a value and a workflow subsequently creates the final visible stamp through the DocuWare Platform API, the original position selected by the user cannot be retrieved or preserved.
The workflow/API can only use predefined coordinates or automatic placement. This breaks the visual relationship between…1 vote -
Request to Improve DocuWare Field Mask Validation to Detect and Reject Spaces
In the definition of DocuWare field masks, it is currently not possible to reject space characters.
According to the following community forum post, field masks are unable to properly evaluate or detect spaces.
We would like to request an enhancement to the DocuWare field mask definition so that it can include logic capable of detecting and validating inputs that contain spaces, such as half-width (ASCII) spaces.

Store Dialog - autofill single value
Add the Autofill single entry feature from Forms to Store Dialogs. It would be very useful to fill the vendor name field and the vendor number field auto fills from the select list if there is a single result.

Choose what to export as preconfigured solution
Having the possibility to choose which file cabinet/parts of the configuration we want to export as a DWBUC file. Right now, when we export, it's the whole configuration no choice.

Using admin define Stamps only
Using the docuware (www.docuware.com) ECM the admin define some Stamps intended to update indexes.
Can i prevent users from creating his own Stamps? and also using these personal stamps to update indexes ?
The users must only use the admin defined stamps, and not stamps defined by his own user into the configurations section.
I try to remove the Set Stamp option from a function profile, but the all the Stamps was affected even the ones expected to work (the user admin defined stamps).
