The folder view does not display the first level field name.
In the Docuware folder view, the first column of the hierarchal result is labeled as "NAME" instead of the actual name of the field selected.

Als PDF archivierte Dateien herunterladen als PDF - PDF-Features gehen verloren
Moin,
derzeit ist es so (DW 6.11), dass wenn ich ein archiviertes PDF habe, dass ich herunterlade mit der Option "Als PDF herunterladen ohne Anmerkungen), dass mir dann PDF-Features wie z.B. das Lesezeichen verloren gehen.
am liebsten wäre es mir, wenn solche Features nicht verloren gingen.
Wenn das nicht umzusetzen geht, dann wäre mir die zweitliebste Option, wenn man schon ein PDF herunterläd, was ursprünglich als PDF archiviert wurde, dass man irgendwo eine Option hat "Force Original PDF" - die macht, dass dann gleich das originale PDF heruntergeladen wird.
Wenn ich MIT ANMERKUNGEN herunterlade wird das natürlich nicht gehen ohne…3 votes -
Crop print feature
I have clients that have plats stored (some of individual properties and others of whole neighborhoods or towns) and when they have customers come to obtain a plat drawing, the customer may want just a certain section and not the whole drawing.
So to prevent waste and remove several steps of using third party programs, I would like to see a crop and print feature add to the tools in the viewer. Not to edit the image but just to highlight a certain section of an image and print just that section.

einzelne Dokumente so wie es schon bei den Seiten eines Dokuments ist, per Direktsprung zu erreichen sind
Die Seite eines Dokuments im Viewer kann man direkt ansteuern, eine bestimmtes Dokument leider nicht. Das bedeutet, insbesondere wenn man genau weiß wo man hin will, ein ziemlich langes und unnötiges blättern über Dokumente weg die man eh schon kennt. Und da man leider auch nicht einfach wild los klicken kann und das Programm die dann nacheinander abarbeitet, sondern es immer Klick -> laden -> Klick -> laden geht, ist das bei sehr vielen Dokumenten von denen man nur die letzten bearbeiten möchte sehr nervig...

Make the highlighter tool like the one in Word or Google Docs.
The current highlighter tool covers up the word it is highlighting to much. Also it should not be a freestyle highlighter, but used like that in Word or Google Docs.

Stempel anbringen optimieren - Klicks vermeiden
bei Stempeln, die keine Information vom Anwender abfragen muss derzeit immer noch mit einem Klick das Anbringen bestätigt werden (6.7, bzw. auch neuer) - ABER warum kann das nicht übersprungen werden, wenn keine Informationen anzugeben sind??? - das sind viele Klicks, die unnötig sind in einer Abteilung, die Workflows bearbeiten.

Add a Send Request action icon to the Viewer Tools area
When opening a document in viewer only the option of using the "Send Request" feature without requiring a search result would be very beneficial. This would also allow a quick method from Explorer Client by selecting "Open in Viewer" and then performing a Send Request.

Allow the user to see differences in the document between versions
The users I'm working with need to see where are the differences between two versions of the same document. Would it be any way to implement something like the diff command ?

Direct Access to Files Within a Document
The current version of Docuware relies on PDF file structures but there are a great number of clients that have TIFF and DWTIFF images that are all each treated as a single clipped file in a Document. This creates a big problem for the users who wish to go directly to an image within a file with a large number of pages.
There are 2 solutions both of which I think need to be applied to Docuware as they both solve multiple problems.

show open files without documents in Explorer - accommodating structured file plans
At my institution we have a structure file plan/classification scheme that must be adhered to. Users like using the Explorer View to browse for their documents, and we've currently set it up so that the first folder layer is the file code, with the specific folders belonging to that category displaying "within" it. The issue is that open files with no electronic documents attached to them do not display to the user. We have a work-around by putting a temp file in each newly created folder. Please make these open folders with no documents in them visible!

Zentrales serverseitiges Drucken
Die Druckfunktion im Webclient erfolgt aktuell via PDF Download, was viel Zeit kostet. Sinnvoll wäre die Anlage von Druckfunktionen auf dem Docuware Server, hier werden dann die verfügbaren Drucker angelegt. Die Drucker sind dann in der Client Anwendung über ihre Bezeichnung auswählbar, ein Druck erfolgt zB. per Klick auf einen Button oder Auswahl des Druckers via Dropdown ausgelöst am Client, verarbeitet über den Server.

Apply version control to a document when annotations are added
When annotations are made to a document they are not saved back as version controlled. This can cause challenges when a business may need to produce original document for legal reasons but still maintain the latest document with annotations for other business purposes. This idea could also address other customer feedback/idea postings relating to the need to print/email documents with or without annotations.

User-name Watemarks when viewing sensitive documents
for the documents that are deemed sensitive and are not allowed to be printed, downloaded or shared in any matter, it would be nice to have also a watermark of the username that is viewing the document printed on the document itself such that, if leaked by using a phone or other capturing device, it can be retraced to the user.

Allow for higher level of zoom for document overview window
The maximum level of zoom currently available for the document overview window makes it practically useless when used with a larger monitor.

Split panes next to each other instead of one above other.
Is it possible to have split panes next to each other instead of one above the other? With a separate viewer there is a better view of the webbaskets, entries, lists etc.

Workflow-Historie in Viewer einblenden
Arbeitet man intensiv mit Workflows, so wäre es nützlich einen Viewer konfigurieren zu können, in dem eine separate Spalte erscheint, in der direkt die Workflow-Historie ersichtlich ist. (Ähnlich wie bei dem Viewer mit Indexdialog).
Z. B. aus Sicht der Buchhaltung wird zumindest bei uns bei fast jedem Dokument noch einmal die Workflow-Historie gecheckt.Vorteilhaft wäre es dann natürlich, wenn es nur eine Historie gibt und nicht unterschiedliche Reiter für die versch. Workflows, sondern eine Spalte in der die Schritte chronologisch geordnet werden und in den details die einzelnen Workflows mit Version ersichtlich werden.

Add the function "jump directly to the last document" in the Viewer in case of documents put together with a clip.
Lawyers have an awful amount of documents in their cases/lawsuit (sometimes more than 200) and they put them together with a clip. Nevertheless in the Viewer you can only jump from one after the other, which meas you have to make 200 clics until you see the last document.

Standardfarbe für Anmerkungen
Um Fehler zu vermeiden, ist es sinnvoll dass die Standardfarbe bei Anmerkungen z.B. auf rot gesetzt werden kann. Dies im Moment nicht über eine zentrale Konfiguration für alle bestehenden wie auch neuen Benutzer möglich

Verlinkungen in PDF-Dateien
Es wär super, wenn Verlinkungen in PDF-Dateien auch im Viewer klickbar wären. Im Moment ist es so, dass das PDF erst heruntergeladen werden muss, damit man die Verlinkung anklicken kann.
