Fehler-Wege im Workflow Designer ausblenden
Bei komplexen Workflows mit mehreren Bedingungen und Zuweisungen leidet die Übersichtlichkeit sobald man alle Fehlerwege mit einer Fehlersammlung verbindet.
Vor lauter roten Strichen sieht man das Wesentliche nicht mehr und gerade wenn man den Workflow selber nicht erstellt hat verliert man sich total darin.
Eine Möglichkeit die Fehlerwege auszublenden, wie bei den Zeitüberschreitungen, würde sehr viel bringen.

Einfachen Abgleich von zwei Dokumeten ermöglichen
Es sollte möglich sein einfach und komfortabel im DocuWare Workflow zwei Dokumente miteinander zu vergleichen.
Beispielsweise bei der Rechnungseingangsprüfung die entsprechenden Lieferanten-Dokumente (Auftragsbestätigung, Lieferschein, etc.)
Aktuell ist es so, dass in einer Workflow Aufgabe die relevanten Dokumente unter „Verknüpft“ für den Benutzer ersichtlich sind.
Klickt der Benutzer auf diese Dokumentenverknüpfung, öffnet sich eine Ergebnisliste. Wählt der Benutzer jetzt ein Dokument aus und öffnet dieses in „einem neuen Viewer Fenster“ und geht dann zurück auf den Tab vom Workflow, sieht der Benutzer im Workflow Tab nur einen weißen Viewer.
Wünschenswert wäre, dass der DocuWare Workflow den Fokus auf das Dokument behält,…

workflow copy objects in workflow.
you can copy workflow objects one at a time but that still requires me to attach them and get them on the right place. I would like to select a group of objects in workflow design at one time and copy them to another workflow.

Indexfeld-Tabelle im Workflow per Stempel auf Dokument anbringen
In DocuWare 7.2 ist es erfreulicherweise möglich, in einem Workflow eine Indexfeld-Tabelle zu füllen. Diese Tabelle muss aber unbedingt mit dem Workflowstempel auf dem Dokument angebracht werden (optional)!

Verarbeitung eingehender eMails im Workflow
Guten Tag,
es wäre gut, wenn DocuWare auch mit eingehenden Mails umgehen könnte, um z.B. einen Workflow fortzusetzen.
Szenario: In einem Rechnungsprüfungs-Workflow wird ein externer Bearbeiter ohne DocuWare-Login zur Prüfung ausgewählt. Dieser bekommt eine Mail mit PDF-Anhang des zu prüfenden Dokuments (Funktion bereits vorhanden) und sendet eine Antwort per Mail (z.B. OK / Abgelehnt). Die Antwort wird automatisch verarbeitet und der Workflow wird fortgesetzt.

Disable document lock for parallel task also for Cloud customer
In some processes, tasks can be assigned to different departments.
The problem is that many users cannot work on the same task at the same time.
This is frustrating if several users have tasks to perform and cannot do so because another user has the task selected but is not working on it.
Another example, a background workflow may need to update fields but cannot because the task is blocked by the user.
This problem has been solved for on premise systems.
I suggest making it possible for cloud customers as well.27 votes -

Wir möchten die Abwesenheit der Mitarbeiter aus einem externen System einlesen, um zu vermeiden, dass man die Abwesenheit in mehreren Anwendungen verwalten muss.

multiple fields in email notifications
We need to be able to select multiple field names in email notifications. even if it was as simple as a concatenation of 2 field names in the link, that would help a lot. better would be the option to use field names in the subject of the email, or as part of the text of the email, beyond just the link.

Calendar Invite for workflow
We have many workflows where the process is sending the date and time of an event in an automated e-mail through workflow manager using the date / time feature. It would be wonderful if we could have the option in workflow designer to generate a calendar invite.

Das Setzen von Abwesenheit für WF-Manager sollte durch Chefs möglich sein
Moin,
derzeit muss ein Admin im Funktionsprofil das Recht "Benutzerverwaltung" haben um die Abwesenheit anderer Mitarbeiter setzen zu können. Dafür wird meines Wissens nach zusätzlich die DW-Administration benötigt.
Dies ist ein hoher, administrativer Aufwand für die wenigen Admins, z.B. wenn Mitarbeiter erkranken.Wunsch wäre eine Abwesenheitsverwaltung (für WF-Manager) in der Web-Administration - gern auch als eigenes Recht in der Administration.
Noch wichtiger wäre eine Abhängigkeit von der Hirarchie - alle Chefs oberhalb von MA XY dürfen das - oder bis zu 5 Berechtigte darf sich ein Anwender aussuchen..24 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. add a configurable stamp activity to Workflow Designer
Add a specific activity in the Workflow Designer that places a configurable stamp. Give the designer the ability to pick the location of the stamp (either have DocuWare automatically place it, as it does now, or have the workflow creator input X and Y coords), and let the workflow creator pick the global variables or index fields or text for the stamp. We have several workflows that have a lot of fields in the decision tasks and the resulting stamp is huge and contains a lot of info that isn't required.

Erweiterung eMail-Objekt im Workflowmanager
Absendeadresse, CC und BCC im Mailobjekt des Workflowmanagers ergänzen.
Beim senden von eMails aus dem Workflowmanager ist es wichtig auch die Absendeadresse angeben zu können. Die Empfänger sollen erkennen können ob eine Rechnung aus dem Rechnungswesen/Buchhaltung kommt. Eine Zentrale Absendeadresse "DocuWare@xxx" landet zu leicht im Spamordner.

Assign workflow controllers via roles
Typically there are many different workflows where for example the Accounting users should be workflow controllers so that they can keep an eye on everyone's tasks. It would be very helpful to be able to assign a Role in to be the workflow controllers so that User Management becomes much easier with staff changes...

Associate different SMTP configurations to specific Workflows
Currently you can create multiple SMTP configurations to be used as the sender for workflow email notifications. Is a big mistake to not be able to associate this to different Workflows.
A good option could be selecting the SMTP configured account via a dropdown select box.20 votes -
Function to lock a fillable PDF in the workflow to prevent further modification
The overall process surrounding the question is a PO Form, which I’ve created in DocuWare. That form triggers an Approval workflow. In the workflow I also add line totals, overall total and the name of the final approver onto the fillable PDF document. Once the document is approved, the workflow sends the PO to the supplier. The problem is that at this moment the order is still fillable… I need that document to be a non-fillable PDF… Problem is that I can’t create the non-fillable PDF with the form as I then can’t add the line totals etc. to the…

Improve keyword string splitting mechanism
When you put a string inside a keyword field/variable, the system split the string in separate keyword entries at each space or comma in the string wich is simply horrible to handle.
You have a dirty workaround solution by putting your string in a text variable concatenated with quotes and then assign the text variable in the keyword field.
Plus, currently, if there is quotes inside the string itself (for example, french words and/or expressions are using quotes), your trick with the intermediate string variable doesn't work at all...

Über Workflow-Historie Workflow-Aufgabe in Controller-Funktion öffnen
Als Benutzer mit Controller-Funktion (z. B. Buchhaltung) kommt es oft vor, dass man Dokumente über das Archiv sucht und sich dann die Workflow-Historie anschaut. Hier kommt man oft an den Punkt, die Workflow-Aufgabe öffnen zu müssen um diese bearbeiten zu können.
Zurzeit muss man hierzu dann wieder die Controller-Funktion anwählen, den richtigen Workflow, die richtige Workflow-Version und die richtige Aufgabe wählen, was bei mehreren hundert oder mehreren tausend Aufgaben nicht ganz so einfach ist.Schön wäre es, wenn man (insofern man die entspr. Berechtigung besitzt) in der Historie auf einen Button drücken könnte und sich die Workflow-Aufgabe dann im Controller-View…

Kommentar- / Dokumentations- / Visualisierungsmöglichkeiten im Workflow
Es sollten für die Dokumentation, Übersichtlichkeit und Verständlichkeit eines Workflows folgende Funktionen eingebaut werden:
Info- / Kommentarfelder in Aktitivitäten
Es sollte in allen Aktivitäten ein neuer Tab namens Kommentar oder Info geben. Dort wird WF intern eine Info zu dieser Aktivität hinterlegt.
Sobald etwas hinterlegt wurde, soll neben dem Bearbeitungsstift und der Löschtonne ein Inforamtionssysmbol erscheinen, bei welchem mithilfe vom drüber hovern mit der Maus ein Pop-Up, in welchem die Info der Aktivität drin steht, aufgeht."Dokumentation" Reiter
Im linken Reiter, in welchem die Aktivitäten, Variablen und der Validierungsstatus stehen, sollte ein neue Gruppierung namens "Dokumentation" entstehen.

Select a sender when I send an e-mail through workflow activity
At the work flow when there is an activity with an e-mail, I can send the e-mail to differents addressee but if I want to change the sender or select the sender who have to send the e-mail it's impossible, isn't it, because always choose the sender from e-mail service, and as I see always have to be the same, so please how can I change the sender when I program to send an e-mail through activity from the workfrow.
