Task List: Assign a certain result list per task, per workflow, for workflow controllers.
Result lists are useful. Having multiple result lists is a necessary feature which exists for good reason. However, all users of all task lists have the same result list configuration. Whichever result list is picked as "Default" is used for every task list system-wide.
Example: Accounting users (especially workflow controllers) should be able to have different options available compared to approvers.
This also goes for the "edit index entries" dialog of the result list. Even if an approver has (and needs) permissions to edit certain fields for workflow tasks, we do not want to present this as an option when…

Workflow starten via Menü-Punkt
Derzeit starten die Workflows z.B. bei Ablage oder Indexänderung. Schön wäre es, wenn man als User die Möglichkeit hätte, bei einem bereits archivierten Dokument z.B. über das Kontextmenü einen Workflow zu starten.
Hintergrund: Indexänderungen über den Dialog sind aufwendig für einen Standard-User und ein Stempel als Trigger ist unschön, da man ggf. keinen Stempel auf dem Dokument haben möchte.
Man muss im Workflow Designer einstellen können, welcher Workflow darüber gestartet werden darf. Und diese Workflows sollten dann im Kontextmenü beim User auswählbar sein.

Workflow Elemente verschieben
Wäre Super wenn, man zum Beispiel alle Elemente des Workflows schnappen könnte, und woanders hinziehen könnte. Dies dient zur besseren Übersicht.

Enterprise Server needs to allow for different Workflow Engine URL based on local web server.
Customer has a main office location (A) and a secondary location (B). Each has there own DocuWare Workflow engine instance.
When an email notification from the workflow engine on B is emailed it uses a URL for site A, site A also uses a URL for A.
A needs workflow URL's for A
B needs workflow URL's for BCause: A & B are different domains and users of B do not have access to A through the company network.

Trigger / Start a workflow after updating a table type field
Use case: A table field must be completed by users (by modifying the index) to validate a document.
A workflow is used to check if the table is complete.
The problem is that there is no possibility today to start/ Trigger a workflow based on the update of a table field.

Workflow-Designer Aufgabe - Kopieren von Entscheidungen
Es wäre schon wenn die Entscheidungen einer Aufgabe kopiert werden können.
Beispiel:
Es gibt in einer Aufgabe die Entscheidung "Freigeben" und eine "Freigeben mit Zweitprüfer"
Beide sind erstmal fast identisch, nur das bei der zweiten noch ein weiterer User angegeben werden muss.Dann würde ich gerne nur einmal alle Auswahlmöglichkeiten in der Entscheidung konfigurieren müssen. Dann einmal diese Entscheidung kopieren und für den Zweitprüfer erweitern können.

Download activity in workflow. Similar to emailing the document
We need a new activity in the workflow designer. The ability to download a file to a UNC path or FTP site, in original format, PDF with or without annotation.
Example: After DocuWare has processed, and users have approved it in a workflow, the document needs to be saved externally to be ingested into another system. common for lawyers and court systems, also banking applications.10 votes -
Verküpfte Dokumente auch bei "Anfrage senden" darstellen
Wird eine Anfrage via "Anfrage senden" an einen Benutzer versendet und dieser öffnet aus der E-Mail heraus den Link, sieht dieser Benutzer keine "verknüpften" Dokumente.
Dies wäre aber sehr hilfreich, wenn beispielsweise für eine einfache Ja / Nein Entscheidung, die Projektmappe mit verknüpften Dokumenten, benötigt wird.
Laut dem DocuWare Support handelt es sich hierbei um einen Produktwunsch und um keinen Fehler.

Provide this option in Workflow to auto open or not the next record
Create a setting allowing any user to enable/disable whether the next invoice in the approval task list automatically pops open when you are completed with your 1st one.
This is currently an option for Stamps, but not for Workflow. Why not? In the configuration of Stamps, it is possible to select when the next record is opened, or when the current document is closed. It is assumed in Workflow that the next record should be automatically opened.

Integrate DocuWare's Out of Office setting with Exchange
It would make the jobs of both users and workflow controllers easier if the Out of Office setting in DocuWare could match a user's Out of Office settings in Exchange/Outlook

Es wäre von Vorteil, wenn man in einem Workflow an ein Dokument ein zusätzliches Dokument anhängen könnte.
Beispiel 1: Rechnung zur Prüfung (Bewirtung)
Nun sollte man die Möglichkeit haben, um ein Bewirtungsbeleg (Nennung: Teilnehmer, Grund, etc.) anhängen zu können, um den Vorgang vervollständigen zu können.Beispiel 2: Rechnung zur Prüfung (Schlungsteilnahme)

Bei "Aufgabe neu zuweisen" wäre ein Suchfeld/Suchfilter für Mailempfängernamen sinnvoll (analog Anfrage senden)
Bei "Aufgabe neu zuweisen" wäre ein Suchfeld/Suchfilter für Mailempfängernamen sinnvoll (analog Anfrage senden). Derzeit muss aus der kompletten AD-Liste von mehreren 100 Usern durch Scrollen der Kontakt mühsam gesucht werden.

merge layers in a workflow
add an option to be able to merge layers as part of a workflow so I don't have to create a task for someone to manually click the 'merge layers' button.

Add the ability to run workflows on web baskets
Since web baskets are technically cabinets in the background, I'd like the ability to run workflows on them. For example, I'd like to run a deletion workflow at the end of each week on some of the baskets to purge the remaining documents that users didn't delete when they were finished.

Manual Adjustment of Connector Lines in Web Workflow Designer
In the current Web Workflow Designer, connector lines between activities are automatically routed. However, users cannot manually adjust the shape of these lines, such as bend points, curves, or routing paths.
This limitation makes it difficult to maintain clear and readable workflows,
especially in complex scenarios where multiple activities and connections overlap.It would be highly beneficial to allow users to manually adjust connector lines (e.g., moving bend points or customizing routing paths), or provide an option to switch between automatic and manual routing.

Zeilenumbrüche innerhalb der Beschreibung bei Workflowaufgaben
Es sollte möglich sein, einen Zeilenumbruch innerhalb der Workflow Aufgabe bei den Dialogfeldern "Beschreibung"->"Vordefinierter Eintrag"->"Text" einzufügen. Anstatt das für jede Information ein eigenes Dialogfeld benötigt wird, könnte man alles in eins zusammenfügen, was den Aufwand reduzieren würde.

Vorherige Workflow-Aktivität wieder öffnen wenn Dokumentverknüpfung geschlossen wird
Wird aktuell aus einer Workflow-Aktivität eine Dokumentverknüpfung aufgerufen (bspw. Projektmappe), öffnet sich ein weiterer Reiter unter "Aufgaben".
Wird der Reiter mit der Dokumentenverknüpfung geschlossen, öffnet sich immer die Workflow Aufgabenliste des in der Reihe letzten Workflows.Es wäre von Vorteil, wenn beim Schließen der Dokumentverknüpfung wieder die letzte Workflow-Aktivität geöffnet wird. So muss bei vielen Workflow-Instanzen nicht erneut gesucht werden.

Allow search inside workflow designer.
Allow search of keywords inside designer. It is very difficult to find where you may need to make changes to steps, dialogs or assignments in the workflow designer. This is especially true in large workflows. You should have the ability to search the entire workflow canvas for terms to easily isolate and change activities. Additionally, it would be useful to have a code view or code export to allow for better debugging and visibility into the workflow activity without having to use the GUI for all development.

Allow clipping and copying from the WF_TASKLIST_LINK tasklist view
When opening DocuWare full webpage view, there is a possibility of clipping (or copying to a different location) files to the tasks. See first screenshot.
When opening DocuWare "truncated view" (the one which we can generate through
[WF_TASKLIST_LINK]in a workflow task cube's notifications tab or through DocuWare URL Creator) there is no such possibility. See second screenshot.This makes for some very awkward conversations with clients, since DocuWare's feature list changes because of the mode of accessing the task list.

Mehr Farben für Workflow-Entscheidung / Stempel - Gelb nicht verwendbar
Um gerade bei komplexen Workflows durch unterschiedliche Farbwahl für unterschiedliche Entscheidungen einen besseren Überblick behalten zu können, die entstandenen Stempel aber auch lesen zu können, gäbe es aus unserer Sicht mehrere hilfreiche Anpassungen:
1. Bei weiterer Verwendung der Farbe Gelb müsste der Farbton für den Stempel insofern angepasst werden, dass sich dieser von einem weißen Hintergrund lesbar abhebt. Im derzeitigen Ton ist die Farbe für uns nicht verwendbar.
2. Unabhängig von 1. wäre es gerade innerhalb des Workflow-Designers eine große Hilfe, wenn ein oder zwei weitere Farben zur Verfügung stünden.9 votes
