I think this is a CSS property not allowing text to be selected. If so, it should be trivial to fix. If a user has permission to view the text, it is reasonable they should have permission to select it and copy it.

Maybe it is best not to have this in the direct search results, but should be made available in the Show Index Entries and Edit Index Entries pages.

You can do this with the Guest Account and URL Creator..

    A. In Admin tool, reate a user with stripped down rights (just enough to access the document) and give guest access to that user.
    B. Define parameters for the URL from URL Creator.

    A. Configure the user as the Guest Account user in Admin Tool:
    - go to <organization name> --> General
    - on the right, go to the Web Access section
    - set a Passphrase (can be used to encrypt the URL later on)
    - - This is NOT the limited user's password.
    - choose the limited user you created

    B. This is screen by screen in the URL Creator:
    - choose WebClient Integration URL.
    - put in the Passphrase you created for the guest user above. (not the user password)
    - choose Authentication.
    - choose Use Credentials, Username and Password (for the docuware user assigned to guest), and your dates valid range.
    - choose Download
    - enter the File Cabinet GUID and the DWDOCID for the file.
    - - you can see the File Cabinet GUID in the Admin Tool

Also, here is a link to better understand where to find ALL THE GUIDs:

That's all there is to it! Once you have done it a couple times, it is not daunting.
