In Workflows nicht nur Start sondern auch Stoppkriterium definieren
Durch das definieren eine Stoppbedingung im Workflow sollte das Stoppen eines Workflows z.B. durch ein Indexwertereignis möglich sein.
Beispiel:
Wir steuern Logistikprozesse via Workflow. Hierbei ist das Quittieren einer Aufgabe / Übergabe ein notwendiger Schritt, um z.B. die Übergabe an den Kunden zu vermerken und diese Information verfügbar zu machen.
Parallel dazu wird hier häufig ein Dokument bereitgestellt, z.B. eine digitale Unterschrift oder eine Kopie eines Lieferscheins, die automatisch abgelegt und indiziert wird.
Ist das Dokument vorhanden, ist der manuelle Schritt der Bestätigung überflüssig und lästig, gerade bei einer hohen Anzahl von Vorgängen.

Allow attachments to be stored as different documents instead of clipped to the form. Example. I have a vendor application, and they attach multiple documents, have each attachment stored as it's own document with the data from the Form as index values.

Scrollen im Client-Viewer
es ist weiterhin nicht möglich, im Viewer durch die Dokumente zu scrollen, auch wenn das eine große Herausforderung darstellt. Das macht es schwer auf einem Webclient schnell von Seite zu kommen. Die Maus ist dabei eher ein Hindernis, wenn man schon mit "Touch-Technologie" arbeiten kann (Notebooks) um schnell auf eine bestimmte Seite vor/zurück zu kommen. Mobile sollte "als Vorbild dienen"...

Add "Assume Blank = 0" Option to Form Field Calculations
The new form field calculation is great, but I immediately ran into a snag implementing it on a PO form. I wanted to include line item totals for each line based on Quantity and Unit price fields filled in earlier, and then a PO Total field that adds together all line item totals.
The line item totals worked great. But the PO total doesn't fill in until every single line is filled in. Most POs this customer store only fill in the first one or two lines, so I can't create a PO Total field that's visible on the form.…

OCR has come great lengths in handwriting OCR but docuware is still 7+ years back, improvement would be greatly appreciated

full text search in older versions
In full text search add the option to search in older versions of a document. Business Case: release notes are monthly edited and changed. Customer wants to search full text in older release notes . Without creating copies of the notes.which is against versioning proposition of DW

Creating Work Environments
In the profile and settings, users can choose drawers, search masks, lists, etc., to display.
It would be useful, especially for users working across multiple business contexts, to have the ability to create work environments by grouping together the necessary masks based on the type of activity.
Each user could then personalize their work environments and select the one suitable for the task they need to perform.
It would also be nice if, upon logging in, DocuWare asks which work environment the user would like to work with and then opens the client with the associated masks.

Intelligent Indexing innerhalb des Archivs/Workflows ermöglichen
Dokumente können bereits direkt in ein Archiv abgelegt und auto. Workflows dazu gestartet werden.
Es wäre nun von Vorteil, wenn man im Workflow selbst Intelligent Indexing Masken hinterlegen könnte, um Dokumente (weiter) zu indexieren.Beispiel: Eine E-Mail inkl. Rechnung als Anhang wird auto. ins DocuWare-Archiv importiert. Der Rechnungsfreigabeprozess wird dadurch ebenfalls auto. gestartet. Da man die Ablagemaske "übersprungen" hat, fehlt das Intelligent Indexing und die Daten müssen manuell in die Indexfelder übertragen werden.

Dokumente über iPad (ios) änderbar
Nach durchgeführter Änderung wird das Dokument mit neuer Version in der Anwendung zurückgeschrieben und gespeichert.
Diese Funktion ist auf dem iPad (iOS) nicht möglich. Dort wird die Docuware Web-Version gestartet und versucht das PDF anzupassen. Wir sprechen hier nicht von „Anmerkungen“ hinzuzufügen.
Danke für eine Rückmeldung ob die beschriebene Funktion in der technischen Umgeben (iPad, iOs) möglich ist. Oder ist eine Entwicklung notwendig?2 votes -
Zugriff auf dwdocsize in Systemvariablen
Als Anwender hätte ich gerne Zugriff auf die Systemvariable dwdocsize. Dadurch müsste ich dieses Feld z. B. für eine Dublettenprüfung nicht erst als Indexfeld anlegen und per Autoindex füllen lassen.

Hidden some global variables in document workflow history
When working with a web service, sometimes it is necessary to obtain the credentials, user and authentication from another filecabinet with master data. If we are going to store these credentials in global variables, this appears in the document workflow history and, in some cases, should not be visible to all users, it must be hidden.
We propose that global variables can be managed so that they are displayed or not displayed in the document history.

New fonts to Merge Forms
New font choices should be added to the Merge Forms, or an ability to import fonts. The current font choices are not sufficient enough to serve all needs. For example, Calibri is a much-requested font option.

Restyling User Interface
It would be nice to have a complete restyling of the User Interface to have a more enjoyable "look and feel" and a modern User Experience.
In addition to the colors and icons, e.g., also to have a way where the U.I. is "self-configuring" by the user: the user, based on rights, may add buttons or icons (such as Micorsoft environment in Business Central) also for external functionalities (e.g. Mail, ERP, Company applications). This to have Docuware as main interface to your work.1 vote -
Externe können Web-Formular nur ausfüllen, wenn sie eine personenbezogene ID eingeben
Hallo DocuWare Team
folgendes Szenario wäre klasse, wenn dies via Web-Formular umgesetzt werden könnte:
Externe Personen, die keinen Zugriff auf DocuWare haben, sollen an einer Umfrage teilnehmen. Im Web-Formular dürfen allerdings nur Personen teilnehmen, die in einem vorgesehenen Textfeld eine individuelle Zeichkette eintippen (Per Brief wird der personenbezogende Code (ID) vorher an die Teilnehmer gesendet).
Nun wäre es klasse, wenn der Wert vor dem Absenden des Formulars auf Gültigkeit geprüft wird (also ob es den eingetragenen Wert in einer Datenbank gibt).

Dropdown-Spalten in Tabellen in Formularen filtern
Es sollte möglich sein in Tabellen in Web-Formularen, bei Dropdown-Spalten nach anderen Feldern zu filtern, so wie bei normalen Dropdown-Feldern in Webformularen auch.

Dokumente von DocuWare in andere Portale exportieren
Dokumente via D&D von DocuWare in anderen Portalen hochladen oder einen einfacheren Workaround schaffen als die Dateien immer zwischenspeichern zu müssen auf dem Laufwerk.

New archive type for data records
In DocuWare a lot of data-archives with only data-records e.g. supplier masterdata, purchase orders without a document.
For general overview when configuring and for use by users, it would be convenient to introduce a new archive type (e.g. with a different icon or search functionality).2 votes -
Tabellenspalte per Doppelklick anpassen
Ich als Anwender wünsche mir, dass ich Tabellenspalten per Doppelklick an die Breite der Einträge anpassen kann. Dadurch kann ich schnell die Tabellenspalten in der Breite anpassen und muss nicht manuell die Spalten kleiner oder größer ziehen. (Funktion wie in Excel).
