Mark Manually Added Users Not to Delete Automatically
There is a way to automate the revoking of DocuWare group membership, based upon their AD Group Membership. Unfortunately the solution also deletes those manually created accounts, especially all our Administrative service accounts we've created that run our imports, and provide testing users.
What if it was possible to Auto-Delete Users, EXCEPT those you mark not to delete.

Create pop-out box when adding/editing a SQL query of a Data Source
Currently when adding/editing a SQL query of a Data Source (i.e. Select List) the field is locked and you can only see so much of a longer query

Add an audit tool to locate Jobs
Import jobs can run under multiple users on the server and/or on any workstation. Currently there's no way to find them without logging in on each machine with each user to find connections and jobs. I recommend adding a tool on the server to audit all jobs connecting its incoming Desktop App receipts like Imports.

Cloud- Remaining Storage Notifications
Ability to add a second person to receive automatic notifications when available cloud storage is low. (Recommendation from George Junior Republic.)

Verbesserung Index Cleaner
Der Index Cleaner sollte für jeden Benutzer zur Verfügung stehen, ohne dass dieser vollen Zugriff auf das ausgewählte Archive und Berechtigungen zum Löschen der Dokumente bekommt.

gesamtes Archiv (incl. letzter Ablageplatte) einfach auf Read-Only setzen
Es sollte möglich sein ein ganzes Archiv mit 2 Handgriffen auf "read only" setzen zu können. Derzeit kann ich in der DB-Verbindung ein Read-Only setzen und Platten (bis auf die letzte Platte) auf Read-Only setzen.
Reicht es die DB-Verbindung auf RO zu setzen, für das was ich vor habe?
Baue nämlich parallel gerade ein neues DW auf und weiß nicht, ob es ausreicht, nur die DB-Verbindung auf RO zu setzen. Wenn Leute dann noch im alten Archiv ablegen/ändern können, wäre das doof1 vote -
Allow use of SQL Queries to get a "Predefined" search term.
I would like to be able to use an SQL query to get the value for a predefined search field.
For instance, to be able to say that the Location field is locked to "SELECT LOCATION from dbo.USER_INFO where USERNAME = 'CURRENTUSERNAME'"
This would allow the predefined fields to be much more useful. The current set of five options is not very thorough, and not extensible at all. Being able to use those five predefined options in SQL queries would open up a much wider scope. Especially if they could be used in conjunction with the index data of the…

Es sollte möglich sein Dokumente zu drucken in einer Importkonfiguration
IN einer Printer Konfiguration ist es möglich ein Dokument auf einen echten Drucke rauszugeben, diese Funktion gibt es leider in der Importkonfiguration nicht, sollte es aber dringend. Ein ERP kann vielleicht PDFs exportieren, doch diese müssen dennoch teilweise gedruckt werden, das ist leider unmöglich, wäre aber soooo hilfreich

Make own reports regarding invoices awaiting approval
Would be good if there was a function where you could make your own reports with reference to invoices on hold within the DocuWare system.

I suggest improve the security
It could be a good idea improve the security access to web client adding a kind of captcha to avoid the brute force attack.

make annotations private so only the creator can modify or delete it
all the users that acces to a document can modify all annotations, it will be better to make possible to force only the creator to modify or delete his annotations

Revise QA Stamp
Reposition the word "By" on the QA stamp. The stamp would then read "Username, date/time, QA'd by user initials"

Add search criteria and SQL statements to search dialogs and/or result lists (similar to task lists)
Some of our clients have changed their company names over time.
When this happens, a new CustomerNumber is given in our database to them. It is required very often to search all the documents from one customer, including those indexed with the previous names (linked now by the Original Customer Number only).Users should find all of the required documents by typing the current or any Company name the customer has had.
This could be done by doing 2 things:
1. adding somewhere the SQL statements capability and

For dw administrators at least...
I remember they taught me there was some place where I can suggest things to be developed into features. Konvertierung vor der Dokumentenanzeige in ein PDF-Format
Zentrale Einstellmöglichkeit um z.B. alte Tiff-Formate in PDF zu konvertieren bevor sie an die nachgelagerte Anwendung bzw. einen Viewer übergeben werden.
(Es gibt Tiff-Formate die zukünftig nicht mehr im SAP-ECL-Viewer angezeigt werden können.)

branchenspezifische Grundkonfigurationen als XML-Datei zum download anbieten (Sales-Support..)
Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass wenn Docuware branchenspezifische Grundkonfigurationen als XML-Datei zum Download anbietet, dass man dann gewisse "Grund-Standards" schafft, (die den Konfigurationsaufwand verkleinern und uns Admins dichter an den "best practise" bringt. Peters Engineering ist da schon ein guter Ansatz, ich könnte mir aber vorstellen, dass man das auf z.B. Automobilbranche, Gesundheitswesen/Pflegewesen/QM/Buchhaltung erweitern könnte

Mehrere Archive per Request exportieren/importieren
Es sollte wieder möglich sein mehrere DocuWare Archive gleichzeitig per DW Request zu exportieren oder importieren.

We really nedd option to use the same importconfiguration on email attachments, because some customers receive the same document via email and via mail
