Flag document if workflow has been stopped or errored
Workflow Controllers have the option to stop a workflow instance and, it may happen that a workflow errors and then stops. In both cases the document will retain the current document status and it may go unnoticed by the workflow users to find out that a task simply has disappeared from their list. It would be great to have an ability to catch these documents either in a List or in a system workflow which then sends tasks or email notifications to dedicated members of staff - who are not necessarily workflow controllers

Improve Testing and Add Unit Tests to Workflow
Allow us to create saved unit tests for the workflow system.
That way we can press a button to see if any modifications broke anything in the system.Also date manipulation is broken in the testing environment. Using VBA expressions to change a date, defaults the date to the year 0001 in testing but works fine in actual workflows.

It would be helpfull to be able to create personal notes in workflow designer. For example : I can note the last modification, leave a not on the WF for someone else...

Filterung von mehrspaltigen Auswahllisten über Workflow-Variablen
Die Filterung von mehrspaltigen Auswahllisten sollte auch über globale Workflow- und Index-Variablen möglich sein. Momentan ist das nur über Dialogfelder integriert.
Beispiel:
Es wird eine Mandantennummer als globale Variable mitgegeben, auf diese soll dann eine externe Auswahlliste gefiltert werden.5 votes -
Gesandte Anfragen bei Erledigung markieren
Wenn ich einen Ad-hoc Workflow mit Anfrage senden starte,
dann bekomme ich zwar eine E-Mail wenn die Anfrage von allen Benutzern erledigt wurde, aber ich sehe in meinem Reiter "Gesandte Anfragen" auf den ersten Blick nicht, dass etwas erledigt wurde.Ich würde vorschlagen, dass es hier auch einen Blase (rot/gelb) mit der Zahl der erledigten Anfragen gibt und/oder zumindest, dass der Eintrag der Anfrage Fett gedruckt dargestellt wird wenn die Anfrage erledigt wurde. So wie es auch bei eingehenden Anfragen ist.

Der WF-Manager sollte SQL-Update in externer Datenbank können
nicht nur das HOLEN von Daten zu einem Workflow sollte möglich sein, sondern auch das ERSTELLEN / ÄNDERN von Datensätzen in anderen Archiven / externen Datenbanken - am liebsten auch mit der Option das SQL-update query selber angeben zu können.
Hintergrund ist, dass wir für einen Bewerbungsprozess eine Statistik-Datenbank füllen wollen5 votes -
Hierarchie für "CC an Chef" im WF-Manager im Fall der Eskalation einführen
Wunsch ist bei Fälligkeit mit einfachen Mitteln eine E-Mail an den Chef zu schreiben, um ihn darüber zu informieren, dass Arbeit liegengeblieben ist. Das Gleiche bei Überfälligkeit.
Derzeit:
Nur im Falle einer Eskalation von Überfälligkeit ist derzeit eine Zeitüberschreitung möglich, womit man dann (umständlich) den Chef über die nicht erledigte Arbeit informieren könnte- nur leider hat dieser dann auch die Aufgabe, was hier ziemlich unflexibel ist.
An vielen Stellen fehlt mir im übrigen auch der Arithmetische Ausdruck, mit dem man vieles sehr dynamischer gestalten könnte.Man könnte es realisieren, indem man nach der Zuweisung zur Person und vor der Aufgabe…

allow for notifications to be sent on a timer as a group, rather than being sent individually
Every time a document gets assigned to a user a notification is sent to the user. Some users can end up getting hundreds of email notifications daily. Would be great if the notifications could be held and sent on a timer as a single email.

Ad-hoc WF-Aufgaben können derzeit nicht bearbeitet werden
in den aktuellen Docuware-Version (in 6.12 auf jeden Fall) ist es möglich, dass man "Anfrage senden" im Kontextmenü auswählt. Damit wird eine Ad-Hoc-Aufgabe erstellt, die dann jemandem zugewiesen bekommt. In unserem Fall war es die Aufforderung vom Chef die Indexwerte zu ändern - und da kommen wir zum Problem: Weder im Viewer noch im WF-Manager gibt es "Indexeinträge ändern" so umgesetzt, wie sonst - es ist maximal möglich die Werte zu LESEN aber nicht zu ändern. Der Trick von einer Aufgabenliste aus über eine "Dokumentenverknüpfung" (früher hieß das "Link") in eine reguläre Ergebnisliste zu kommen um dann Indexeinträge ändern zu…

Zeitpunkt über E-Mail-Benachrichtung im Workflow per Indexfeld
Es wurde bereits mehrmals erwähnt, dass man E-Mails in Workflows zeitgesteuert versenden können sollte. Jedoch nicht nur über Regeln wie 'täglich', 'monatlich', 'jährlich' oder an einem bestimmten fixen Datum, sondern es sollte auch die Möglichkeit geben, den E-Mail-Versand über ein Indexfeld zu starten.
Soll heißen, wir befüllen beim Archivieren ein Datumsfeld im Dokument, welches in der Zukunft liegt und an diesem Tag soll auch erst die E-Mail versendet werden und nicht bereits, wenn das Dokument abgelegt wird. D.h. das Indexfeld beinhaltet zwar auch einen festen Datumswert, aber in jedem Dokument ein anderes, dient sozusagen als Variable.Bislang konnten wir uns…

Fixed location option for workflow stamps
We have need to have approval stamps located in a particular location on the documents in the workflow. Being able to set a static location for a particular workflow task stamp would be nice.

Veränderte Versionsnummer als Auslöserbedingung im Workflow Manager
Es wäre von Vorteil, wenn man wieder das Systemfeld "Versionsnummer" im Workflow Manager als Auslöser Bedingung zur Verfügung steht.
Hintergedanke: Wenn eine neue Version eines Dokuments veröffentlicht wird, sollte automatisch eine Aktion z.B. Benachrichtigung der Gruppe/Rolle "XY" erfolgen.

Fortlaufende Nummernvergabe über WF
Im WFM wäre es hilfreich, wenn konfigurierbar wäre, dass wenn ein neues Dokument mit bestimmten Indexeinträgen abgelegt wird, eine fortlaufende Nummer in ein Indexfeld geschrieben wird.
Hierzu sollte es dann weiterhin möglich sein einen Anfangs- und Endwert festzulegen und zu bestimmen, was bei Erreichen des Endwertes getan werden soll (z. B. erneut ab Anfangswert vergeben).
Dies wäre z. B. eine sehr nützliche Funktion bei der Vergabe von Buchungsnummern für Eingangsrechnungen.
Wir haben dies derzeit über einen Trigger in der SQL-Datenbank.
Eleganter wäre es jedoch natürlich, wenn es eine solche Funktion direkt geben würde5 votes -
Email Notifications - File Cabinet vs Individual Users
Docuware admins should be able to set a single email notification template for a file cabinet. Currently, admins must create an email notification for each user in the cabinet, which requires a lot of administrative overhead.
Please allow the ability to set a notification template at the file cabinet level.

Allow the 'Create Data Record' option available in the web client to also be available in Workflow Manager
Allow the Assign Data activity to create data records in a file cabinet. Two use cases where this might be useful; the posting of GL records for invoices, where invoices are in one cabinet and GL records in another as a 1 to many relationship. And the prepopulating of index data for documents that may be added later, such as a PO for an Invoice or a Shipping Manifest or BoL.

Zeitstempel in der Workflow-Historie optional ausblenden
Beim Öffnen der Workflow-Historie wird derzeit immer ein Zeitstempel angezeigt, der angibt, zu welcher Zeit die Aktivität stattgefunden hat. Gerade für Bereiche wie den Öffentlichen Dienst (Stichwort: Datenschutz) wäre es hilfreich, diesen Zeitstempel über die Konfiguration unsichtbar machen zu können bzw. komplett zu deaktivieren.

Allow the copying (Ctrl+C or right click menu) of Workflow ID in Workflow manager for use in the URL creator
This would eliminate the need to open the database manager or key in that long number.
