es wäre schön, wenn man einen Ad-hoc-Workflow ohne E-Mail-Benachrichtigung an andere Anwender übermitteln könnte - als Checkbox-Option je Empfänger wäre das toll.

Add TLS encryption to e-mails sent from workflows
If a workflow is set to send a receipt to the person uploading a document and the e-mail includes the uploaded document then it would be great is the e-mail was encrypted. The risk is that the e-mail will include personal information that requires encryption due to GDPR legislation.

Workflow Controller tasks in separate tabs, please
In DocuWare 7 the tasks which ran into an error (assigned to deleted user, or so) now pop up as tasks for the workflow controllers! That is really good, but it would be nice to have those tasks in a separate tab so that the controllers, who are usually rather busy users on the workflows (accounts payable team, etc) can easily differentiate between their normal tasks and the ones they have been assigned to because of their "Controller" role.

give workflow designers the ability to customize font styles in workflow tasks
It would be great if we could customize the font that displays Descriptions in workflow tasks. I'm using those to give users additional information so they can make the proper decision (eg. error messages or data validation messages like "DocuWare has detected a duplicate invoice with such-and-such information", etc) and it would make these much more effective if we could make the more critical pieces of information stand out a bit, either by making them boldface, a larger font size, or a different font colour.

Workflow-Überwachen mit Berechtigungen einschränken
Es wäre ideal, wenn es möglich wäre, die Workflow-Überwachenfunktion für jeden Controller einzeln einschränken zu können.
Anwendungsfall: Die Rechnungsprüfung wird pro standortweise strukturiert. Nun möchte man die Workflow-Überwachenfunktion den Rechnungsprüfungen freigeben, damit diese ihren Mandanten überwachen und steuern können, jedoch sollen sie nicht bei den restlichen Standorten/Mandanten eingreifen können. Somit wäre es ideal die sichtbaren Aufgaben auf bestimmte Mandanten/Indexwerte zu beschränken.

allow us to use different fonts or text colours
This is a fairly simple idea: allow us to use different fonts or text colours in the decision forms.
Use case: an invoice that's part of an AP approval workflow fails validation and we'd like the reason for the validation-failure to be in red text to draw the user's attention to it.

Improve connector lines
Connector lines are impossible to work with and make look logical. They move on their own to mess up the WF when any step is moved or removed. A great model for the designer would be the connector lines in Visio. Please improve the designer with useable, logical and clear connector line composition logic.
3 votesThank you for your idea. With the next generation of our Workflow Designer we will make sure this works far better. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

Enable horizontal scrolling in Workflow Designer
Scrolling mechanics natively supported in windows have evolved from vertical-only to include the horizontal dimension. Putting horizontal scrolling to use here would greatly help when working with large workflows -- just as much as vertical scrolling does. Whether using a touchpad with 2-finger drag, or a mouse with a tilt-wheel, navigation becomes much simpler, allowing the user to focus on the workflow itself rather than dragging the scrollbar back and forth.

Make Workflow Designer variables available in text area of stamp
WFD has a lot of ability to massage index field data that can be re-written to indices. It would be nice to get those values into text fields in WFD stamps. Currently the "Stamps include:" options are a limited number of unalterable data items. It would be great to include WF variables in additional text field(s).

Zuweisen an sollte auch bei paralleler Aufgabe über Formularfeld möglich sein
Bei einer "normalen" Aufgabe hat man die Möglichkeit, diese über ein Formularfeld zuzuweisen. Bei einer parallelen Aufgabe besteht diese Möglichkeit nicht.
Es sollte unserer Ansicht nach hier jedoch auch möglich sein. Somit könnte man z. B. die Aufgabe, die einem aktuell selbst zugeordnet ist, über ein Formularfeld einem anderen Mitarbeiter zuweisen.
In der bestehende Funktion des neu zuweisens sind derzeit in 6.9 die Namen nicht mehr alphabetisch sortiert und es besteht auch keine Suchmöglichkeit, was das Arbeiten hierin fast unmöglich macht.
Zudem gibt es bestimmt auch noch weitere Aufgabengebiete, in denen es nützlich wäre die eigene Aufgabe einer parallelen Aufgabe…

ich würde mir für den WF-Manager eine wesentlich höhere Flexibilität bei der Zuweisung von Variablen zu X wünschen - siehe Anhang

Freie Programmierung einer "Zeile" - gern auch in Verbindung mit WF-Manager
Derzeit würden wir für ein Kundenprojekt eine "frei programmierbare Zeile" gut gebrauchen können um z.B. dieses SQL-Query "antriggern" zu können:

count (bpname) as "Anzahl Positionen"FROM [dwdata].[dbo].[ARCHIV]

Add ability in DocuWare Tasks and WorkFlow to create a task without having a document already created.
Sometimes users need to be assigned a task to do a specific function such as create documents. Currently, a user would need to create a document to request a new task to create a new document. Once the task has been submitted and workflow started the original "request" document is not needed or useful.
Adding the ability to Create a task that includes data fields that are customizable by administrators and for specific users to see would solve many issues. I envision that there would be a button under tasks that would say Create a task and based on the…
3 votesYou can accomplish this currently by creating a database entry from a document tray. Just unselect all documents and the store button will be a “Create database entry” button. Then enter index entries that would trigger a workflow. The workflow will just start like with a document and you have the possibility to add a document at any later time.

Allow more complex conditions for email notification triggers
We would like to be able to generate triggers based on conditions that contain a combination of AND and OR such as the following:
Status = "Needs approval" AND
Department = "Accounting" OR Department = "Billing"One solution would be to have the ability to reference a task list to obtain the conditions for the email trigger since many times there is a related task list and the task lists allow for more complex conditions.

Improve Layout Preservation During Workflow Migration
When workflows created in the Desktop Apps version of Workflow Designer are migrated to the Web Workflow Designer, the layout and positioning of activities, branches, and connections can become significantly distorted.
This issue is particularly noticeable in complex workflows and can result in the following challenges:
- Activity positions are substantially altered after migration.
- The overall flow becomes difficult to follow due to reduced visual clarity.
- The original design intent and process structure are harder to understand.
- Considerable effort is required to manually reorganize the layout after migration.

Workflow Aktivität Webservice Tabellen posten
Es sollte möglich sein in der Webservice Aktivität im Workflow auch Tabellen posten zu können. Dies ist notwendig, damit die volle Funktion genutzt werden kann. Ansonsten muss immer eine Middleware programmiert werden (eigentlich unverschämt, dass das aktuell der offizielle Vorschlag von DocuWare ist).

Konfiguration Files und Form values Webservice Aktivität im WorkflowDesigner
Im Workflow Designer können unter der Webservice Aktivität bei Nutzung die Files bzw. Form values nicht angepasst werden. Der Body kann kaum beeinflusst werden. Dies sollte dringend verbessert werden, da sonst sehr viele Webservices gar nicht angesprochen werden können.

Update cloud URL of web service when efd file is imported
When importing a workflow into another DocuWare Cloud environment, web service components still reference the original cloud URL.
Currently, each web service within the workflow has to be reviewed and updated manually after import, which is time-consuming and error-prone.
It would be very helpful if the cloud URL of web service components could be automatically updated (or mapped) during the workflow import process, or at least if there were an option to update them in bulk.
This would significantly improve maintainability and reduce manual effort, especially for partners and customer success teams managing multiple environments.
