Add overwrite feature to Intelligent Indexing.
If a user has to manually correct a field that Intelligent Indexing got wrong, Intelligent Indexing than starts entering the manually typed value on many subsequent documents.
We need the ability to have an override feature like in a tax software program.
Currently users have to go ahead and store the document with erroneous index values, then remember to go back and fix them later.

Verify and remove the check digit on barcode
it would be helpful that in the barcode reading configuration there is the possibility to remove the barcode check digit.

"Mehrere Indexbegriffe ändern" ignoriert die Abhängigkeitsprüfung ab Version 7
wir haben viele voneinander abhängige Kombinationsfelder in DW. Ab DW 7 durch "Mehrere Indexbegriffe ändern" wird die Abhängigkeit nicht mehr geprüft. Das ist sehr gefärlich und kann viele Daten Konflikt und inkonsistenz Daten verursachen.
Idee ist: die Abhängigkeitsprüfung läuft am hintergrund wie bei alte Version 6.x. Die Veränderung wird trotzdem akzeptiert obwohl die Abhängligkeitsprüfung Fehler entdeckt. Aber eine Meldung oder Protokoll wird mindestens generiert (oder an Admin geschickt), so dass die Admin die Daten Konflikt kontrollieren kann.

Invoice date
Only the invoice date from intelligent indexing should be processed not the created on date. It has taken up a lot of my time going in and changing this for almost everything when our system crashed.

Improve Field Masks for Correction Replacement
Similar to other requests to automatically insert dashes for SSNs, the United States uses Vehicle Identificaiton Number (VIN). The VIN is composed of 17 characters (digits and capital letters) that act as a unique identifier for the vehicle. The VIN does not include the letters O (o), I (i), and Q (q) (to avoid confusion with numerals 0, 1, and 9). We would like any O (letter) to be dynamically set to 0 (numeral), I (letter) to be set to 1 (numeral), and Q/q (letter) to be set to 9 (numeral).

Company name change or mergers
If a company merges or completely changes its name have some sort of notification pop up when you search for what no longer exists and tells you it was changed.

Modify index entries directly within result list
It would save some clicks if you can modify index entries of a document directly within the result list, instead of hitting right click > change index entries.
Similar to renaming a file in the document trays via key "F2".1 vote -
Indexing Pulls More Than Needed
When storing a document into a cabinet using Web Client, the user is not able to highlight text from the document if the text is spread over two lines. The behaviour of the indexing is that it grabs the entire text on both lines rather than the required words.

remove default select lists from dates and other fields
Select lists make no sense on some fields. Dates, decimals, integers, etc. These fields may have some uses for select lists but the majority of the time I end up removing the default select list.
It would be good to turn off the default select list for fields that do not have the need the majority of the time they are used.

Enable Flagging for stored files
It would be very helpful to be able to Flag stored files.For example, We store files (Jobs) by Job number. If there was a way to Flag a specific job that has special needs so that upon any future inquiries on this Job , it would immediately be apparent that it needs special handling. This could be part of the indexing process. Also any files added to a stored Job that has been flagged already would prompt a Popup that would warn the user that the specific Job being added to, demands special handling. Similar to the Popup that appears…

Indexierung anhand externen Daten vervollständigen
Es wäre hilfreich, wenn die Funktion "Indexierung vervollständigen" auch auf externe Daten zugreifen könnte.
Bspw. man gibt in der Indexierung eine Kundennummern an.
Bei der Funktion Indexierung vervollständigen wird dann nicht das zuletzt abgelegte Dokument herangezogen, sondern Stammdaten aus dem ERP-System (per Datenbankzugriff).1 vote -
CHECK DATES FOR SIGNATURES
I would like that you improve the programm with an option to check the dates of the signatures.
For example, if you made a signature in a date, that I could check the signatures between, for example, two dates.
For example, for the "contabilized signature", it can be useful to know the month where one invoice have been contabilized, and informed to the administration.

Intellignet index recognize negative numbers with parenthesis
I would like to suggest that Intelligent Indexing and point and click indexing recognize number with in parenthesis as negative numbers.

Multiple custom names for document types
Let's say a customer has multiple departmens that speaks different languages. They have each seperate file cabinets. Now it would be very usefull to be able to use multiple custom document type names, instead of the pre-defined ones.

Extension Administrator for 6.10
Prior to 6.10 there was a Power Tool called the Extension Administrator. This has been removed (probably because of GAPI). It would be nice to have a similar power tool for 6.10+.

Zeitgesteuerte Änderung von Indexeinträgen auf Dokumentebene
Bei archivierten Dokumente bräuchte ich die Möglichkeit, einzelne Indexbegriffe eines einzelnen Dokuments automatisch zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt zu ändern, beispielsweise um ein Dokument von "valid" auf "invalid" zu setzen.
Da es sich für einzelne Dokumente nicht lohnt, einen Autoindexworkflow aufzusetzen, wäre die Einstellmöglichkeit auf Dokumentebene prima.1 voteVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Im Augenblick konzentrieren wir uns auf andere Themen, deshalb planen wir diese Idee nicht für zukünftige Veröffentlichungen. Wenn die Nachfrage nach diesem Thema steigt, werden wir diese Idee eventuell wieder aufgreifen.

Camera Metadata for indexing
Access Windows meta information during indexing files in the Document Tray or in Import Configurations. Many files contain native data that can be valuable in the documents index, ex., for photos, timestamps, camera Id and etc. - this would be an advance equivalent to point and shoot for the operator and a huge enhancement to Import

Änderungsrechte bisher erforderlich in Ergebnisliste bei inaktiven Feldern vom Typ Notiz oder Stichwort
Es ist etwas schwer zu beschreiben, da auch der DW-Support lange brauchte, um dieses Problem nachzuvollziehen.
In Version 6.2 hat es noch funktioniert, in Version 6.7 funktioniert es leider nicht mehr.Und zwar haben wir Archivprofile mit Indexfilter, mit dessen Hilfe wir abhängig von den Indexbegriffen das Änderungsrecht auf einige Felder erteilen. Das Schreibrecht ist generell nicht gegeben. In der Infobox ist der Haken gesetzt "Bearbeitung ermöglichen" (aber auch ohne diesen Haken ist das Verhalten identisch).
Unsere Stichwortfelder oder unser Notizfeld ist für viele Benutzer wegen dem fehlenden Änderungsrecht nicht editierbar, demnach wird es in der Infobox ausgegraut. Möchte ich…1 vote -
Indexfelder zurücksetzen
Bei Ablage von Dokumenten per Platform SDK muss man Indexfelder als leer übergeben können. Ebenso brauchen wir unbedingt die Möglichkeiten einmal gesetzte Indexfelder per Update wieder auf leer "zurücksetzen" zu können. Letzteres lässt sich im Augenblick nur für String-Felder realisieren. Int, Decimal und DateTime-Felder können einmal gesetzt nicht wieder zurückgesetzt werden. Das ist zur Korrektur unbedingt notwendig!

Add scripting for field values on Import and Smart Connect
Please add the ability to enhance extracted (OCR) data from documents during Import, Smart Connect and Printer. Having the ability to massage the data read (replace l with 1, z with 2, etc...) with vbscript or javascript would greatly enhance functionality.
