1. Allow changing real file name during Copy To

   Currently, if I have a document that I might use as a template for a new document and I perform a "Copy To" operation, the base file name will remain the same. This makes it impossible to edit two resulting documents side by side in an editor such as Word or Excel because their base filename is identical.

   Either the file should be opened as the "File Name" index, or the option to change the file name during "Copy To" needs to allow the base file name to be specified.

   Currently, the cumbersome workaround is to download the document, rename the document, then store it again, filling out the index fields that may only need a couple of minor changes.

2. Intelligent Indexing Datumsformat fest hinterlegen

   Wir haben den Kundenwunsch das Datumsformat für die Erkennung fest auf DD.MM.YYY einzustellen. Bei englischsprachigen Belegen wird sehr häufig das Datumsformat MM.DD.YYYY erkannt, der Kunde hat jedoch keine Belege mit diesem Datumsformat und dadurch unnötigen Mehraufwand.

3. Make it possible to rename values in keyword fields

   In the Windows client a user could go to the Info box and select a keyword value and rename it very easily. In the Web client a user must delete and recreate a value. This can be very difficult if there are several keyword values associated to the field and they have several characters.

4. Intelligent Indexing - Probleme der einfachen Deutung des Status bei Farbblindheit

   Wir sind derzeit in der Umsetzung eines Projektes und uns wurde durch den ASP mitgeteilt das die Fähnchen-Variante der Darstellung für Farbenblinde nicht optimal ist und jedes mal mit der Maus auf das Fähnchen keine optimale Lösung darstellt.
   Wie wäre es, die Symbolik anzupassen in Form von "rotem X" - "gelbes Quadrat" und "grünem Haken"?!

   Das würde sowohl die farbige Darstellung als auch die symbolische Darstellung für die Anwender, auch mit Einschränkungen in der Wahrnehmung, Verwendbar und Verständlich machen.

5. Have field filled with substring or concatenation of other field

   Hello,
   It could be nice if we can extract a substring of a field to fill another field. I.E.: Invoice has a date as an index. Have the possibility to create 2 index (year and month) for extracting the year and the month. This two new fields could be use in the Windows Explorer view to group invoice by year and month for example.
   It could be substring or the concactenation of several fields.

   Es wäre sehr praktisch, wenn man in Stichwortfeldern aussuchen könnte, ob nach Inhalt oder Zeitpunkt der Erstellung sortiert wird. Wir nutzen diese Häufig um Historien aufzubauen und dort ist die zeitliche Abfolge maßgeblich.

8. DATABASE LOOKUP

   This issue has been posted a lot of different ways but nothing has happened with it. I know Docuware has come up with their version of autoindexing and don't seem to understand why so many other softwares have standardize how it is done. You create a odbc connection and assign it to a data entry textbox. When someone keys a value and hits enter, it will populate all the other fields. This is the way it has always been done. This version runs after the fact which doesn't let the person indexing compare the results to the image they are looking at. Anyhow, hopefully this can be added at some point. Especially when indexing a document within a tray.

10. AutoIndex with Docid

    Add the DOCID field in the list of system fields that can be assigned when doing an AutoIndex. To be able to assign this value to a metadata ot fhe document or to be able to use it in BB.DD connections in order to wirtwe it in the local tables.

    Feldmasken sollten auch auf Datumsfelder hinterlegt werden, sodass beispielsweise ein Feld wie "Leistungsmonat" nur mit vordefinierten Einträgen (z.B. nur der Monats erste oder Monatsletzte) gefüllt werden kann.

12. Massenänderung bei Stichwortfeld verhindern

    Da die Einträge im Stichwortfeld bei einer Änderung ersetzt werden, soll verhindert werden, dass versehentlich mehrere SWF auf einmal geändert werden können.
    Aktuell kann nur die Änderung an sich verhindert werden.

    Enable to have select list with two columns, one for ID and another for description (for example list of partners). It is easier for user to select among description that among 8000 partner IDs.

14. Allow us to create dynamic store dialogues

    I think it would be great if you could allow us to create dynamic store dialogues which could alter their layout depending on the document type chosen (or any other pre defined field for that matter).

    For example, lets define a "key" field of a file cabinet store dialogue and lets say its the "document type" and we also give this a predefined select list. Then we may have many other fields of this cabinet but not all of these other fields may relate to each of the possible document types. It would be very useful and help guide the user when it comes to storing a document if we could specify which fields should be available and/or required when a specific document type is selected.

    Of course if the number of fields and document types is small it would be possible to simply setup a few different store dialogues but if there is more than 10 (which is common) then it simply becomes too messy and cluttered when you click the store button.

15. Original Dateinamen mit DocuWare Printer bestimmen

    Im DocuWare Printer muss der Original Dateinamen für den Dateiheader indexieren werden können. Unsere CAD Software liefert beim Druck immer den gleichen Namen, da mehrere Blätter in einer Datei erstellt werden.
    Die Zeichnungsnummer liest dann der DocuWare Printer aus und indexiert diesen in das Feld Dateiname und archiviert die Zeichnung dann entsprechend voll automatisch indexiert als PDF.
    Im Feld „Dokumentname“ habe ich den Hacken Dokumentname gesetzt.

    Zu dieser PDF Datei werden dann die digitalen Daten als DWG z.B. für den Laserschneider „Geklammert“, damit diese nicht extra indexiert werden müssen. Demnach erstellt DocuWare eine ZIP und die Indexdaten hängen jetzt an der ZIP.

    Problem:
    Wenn ich jetzt die ZIP „herunterlade“ bekommt die ZIP den ausgewählten Dokumentname, was ja auch ganz gut ist. Aber die Zeichnung in der ZIP bekommt den Urspungsnamen aus der Headerdaten. Die hinzugefügte DWG auch wieder den Urspungsnamen (auch gut). Da jetzt aber die PDF den Ursprungsnamen erhält, heißen alle heruntergeladenen Zeichnungen gleich und keiner kennt sich mehr aus…

    Wird der PDF keine Datei angehängt, lädt man auch keine ZIP herunter und die PDF Zeichnung erhält den ausgewählten Dateinamen, so wie es sein sollte.

    Lösung:
    A: Der DocuWare Printer muss den Dateinamen im Header z.B. durch einen Auslesebereich auf dem Dokument bestimmen können.

    Oder

    B: Es müsste wie bei den Dokumentname der Dateiname innerhalb einer ZIP aus einem Feld bestimmt werden können. Demnach musste auch festgelegt werden können, was mit den Dateien in der ZIP passiert: Ob der Dateiname nur für die erste Datei gilt, oder ob diese dann zusätzlich fortlaufend nummeriert wird, da diese ja nicht den gleichen Dokumentnamen bei dem gleichen Dokumenttyp haben können.

16. Make Windows file meta information available

    Access Windows meta information during indexing files in the Document Tray or in Import Configurations. Many files contain native data that can be valuable in the documents index, ex., for photos, timestamps, camera Id and etc. - this would be an advance equivalent to point and shoot for the operator and a huge enhancement to Import

17. Utilize one of the Intelligent Index fields to name the documents in the tray

    Many documents land in the tray to be indexed but sorting through them to find a specific document would be simplified if one of the Intelligent Indexing fields was displayed as the doc name.

20. Intelligent Indexing sollte Indexfelder/Kontierungstabelle automatisch in Abhängigkeit von anderen Indexfeldern befüllen

    Vor der eigentlichen Ablage sollte das intelligent Indexing bestimmte Indexfelder automatisch ausfüllen können, in Abhängig von dem Füllwert aus anderen Feldern.

    Das würde bedeuten das primäre Felder (z.B. Gesellschaft, Rechnungsjahr etc. ) automatisch hinterlegte bzw. angelernte Werte aus einer abhängigen Datenbank in sekundäre Felder (Kostenstelle, Buchungstext etc.) übernimmt.

    Beispiel. Unsere Gesellschaften arbeiten mit Windkraftanlagen die eindeutige Anlagennummern haben.
    Sobald das Int.Ind. die Gesellschaft erkennt, sollten es die zugehörigen Windanlagennummern (aus einer Datenbankliste) automatisch in die jeweiligen vorgesehenen Indexfelder, bestenfalls in die Kontierungstabelle übernehmen. Die automatische Übernahme/Ergänzung von Werten in der Kontierungstabelle ist sowieso sehr wünschenswert.

    Analog dazu wäre das automatisierte Befüllen von Kostenstellen oder Buchungstexten in der Kontierungstabelle. Oft haben Gesellschaften oder Lieferanten eindeutige Kostenstellen, Buchungstexte oder andere konstante Merkmale die immer wieder übernommen werden müssen beim Indexieren.

    Es wäre ein gewaltiger Effizienzfortschritt die Automatisierung beim Intelligent Indexing nicht nur anhand der "sichtbaren und angelernten" Werte und Wörter auf dem Beleg, sondern anhand von in Abhängigkeit stehenden Datenbankwerten durchzuführen. Diese Abhängigkeiten werden einmal definiert und werden so immer mit indexiert.

    Dieser Schritt ist keinesfalls redundant. z.B. sind Mandantennummern für den DATEV-Belegtransfer auch immer eindeutig und müssen immer mitindiziert werden damit eine Zuordnung für spätere Jobs oder den DUO Belegtransfer möglich ist.
