Restore the ability to Attach, Delete, or Skip when pre-indexing
Previous versions of DocuWare (Windows Client) allowed the user to essentially staple pages to a document when in the Storage Mask. The user would select a group of documents from a Basket and drag them to a store dialog, and click the pre-indexing check box. When clicked, this would enable three new buttons, Attach, Delete and Skip. This allowed the user to construct documents by attaching, deleting or skipping pages while indexing, without having to go back to a basket or tray. This was a big time saver in the Windows Client, and a big time waster when trying to…

Allow for reset of pre-indexed fields in Document Tray
When using the autofill indexing to store multiple documents in the document tray to a file cabinet, using the "Reset" button does not clear all fields in the store dialog. Understanding that this may be by design, there should be an option to reset all fields or just the fields that don't apply to the pre-filled index fields.

Datum als KW angeben
Es kommt vor, dass z.B. ein Liefertermin lediglich als KW angegeben wird. Hier muss dann manuell das Datum in das entsprechende Indexfeld eingegeben werden. Um den Aufwand zu verringern wäre es evtl sinnvoll, dass man eine KW (z.B.: "26/2024") mit OneClickIndexing erfasst und dieses automatisch in ein Datum umgewandelt wird.

Dynamische Pflichtfelder im Ablagedialog
Abhängig von eingegebenen Werten in einem Ablagedialog sollte geprüft werden, ob die notwendigen Pflichtfelder gefüllt sind. So können z.B. abhängig von der eingegebenen Dokumentart unterschiedliche Pflichtfelder definiert werden.
Dies ist besonders Sinnvoll wenn für verschiedene Dokumentarten verschiedene Pflichtfelder notwendig sind. So haben z. B. Ausgangsrechnungen andere Pflichtfelder als Eingangsrechnungen.
Aktuell muss so für jede Dokumentart ein separater Ablagedialog angelegt werden, was die Anzahl der Dialoge in komplexen oder bei mehreren Archiven für die Anwender deutlich erhöht und so die Übersichtlichkeit einschränkt.4 votes -

E-Mail per DRAG&DROP müssen in der Vorschau mit Anhängen angezeigt werden
Beim Archivieren von Emails aus dem outlook per Drag&Drop (also ohne Connect to outlook) werden zwar die Anhänge mit archiviert. Sie werden aber in der Dokumentenvorschau nicht angezeigt und somit erst sichtbar, wenn man das Dokument zum Bearbeiten öffnet.

Einträge der selben Zeile in mehrspaltigen Auswahllisten sollten im Ablagedialog verbunden werden können / automatisch vorausgefüllt werden
Ich schlage vor, dass Einträge in mehrspaltigen Auswahllisten aus der selben "Zeile" selektiv bei der Ablage in einem eigenen Feld angezeigt und automatisch direkt auch eingetragen werden können.

Möchte man z.B. Dokumente für ein bestimmtes Wohnobjekt ablegen, dann muss bisher Straße, Hausnummer, PLZ und Ort eigens jeweils in ein Indexfeld eingegeben werden, obwohl alle Daten "nebeneinander" in einer mehrspaltigen Auswahlliste vorliegen.
Praktisch wäre es, wenn schon bei der Auswahl der Straße und der Hausnummer in einem "verbundenem" Indexfeld die PLZ und in einem weiteren dann sofort der Ort eingetragen würden.4 votes -
mehr Faben für das Archiv
Es sollte mehr als die 5 Farben für Archive und Briefkorbe geben. Mit unterschiedlichen Farben ist es einfacher die Verschiedenen Archive auseinander zuhalten und 5 sind etwas wenig.

Allow only data records in file cabinet
As it is now common practise to use file cabinets as hidden databases for workflow assignments (i.e. Approval Matrix, Supplier List, etc.) it would be good to have an option in the file cabinet settings to prevent users from accidentally storing documents into those cabinets.
In many cases the local DocuWare Admins who need to maintain those file cabinets are normal users and therefore may make mistakes...

Indexierung optimieren z.B. bei Indexfeld "Firma" während Ablage
Wenn man bei DocuWare ein Dokument ablegen möchte, bei der z.B. das Indexfeld "Firma" ausgefüllt werden soll, so hat DocuWare Probleme mit der Erkennung, obwohl die Daten in DocuWare hinterlegt sind (z.B. über eine Liste oder durch stetigen Daten-Import aus dem ERP-System). Heißt ein Unternhemen "Max Mustermann GmbH" und man gibt unter dem Indexfeld "Firma" zuerst "Mustermann" ein, so erkennt DocuWare nicht, dass es sich um die Macx Mustermann GmbH handelt und schlägt dann aiuch nichts vor. Zudem finde ich die Suche mit Einsdatz diverser Sonderzeichen veraltet.

Auswahlfeld in Ablagemaske mit Jocker suchen
Es wäre hilfreich, wenn man im Feld in der Ablagemaske aus der Auswahlliste mit Jockerzeichen suchen kann.
z.B. in der Auswahlliste stehen zwei Begriffe (Test Docuware) hintereinander und man sucht nach dem zweiten Begriff (Docu)

Allow clipping files already in storage
Presently documents that are in the inbox/tray can be only be clipped to a document in storage, or else another document in the inbox/tray. Not sure why that is. I had the idea that one person could be responsible for inputting and indexing AP invoices, and another for inputting and indexing checks. A third person would be responsible for clipping the checks to the invoice, verifying the check(s) match the invoice, then stamping it as Paid. But once a document is in storage it cannot be clipped to another document in storage. This is fairly limiting.

Indexbegriffe mit One-Click-Indexing erweitern
Oft wäre es hilfreich bei der Ablage von Dokumenten eine vorgeschlagene Indexierung (Intelligent Indexing) per One-Click-Indexing mit Begriffen aus dem Dokument zu erweitern.
Mit der Strg-Taste ist es bei One-Click-Indexing bereits möglich mehrere Begriffe auszuwählen.
Nun wäre es hilfreich diese Begriffe den bestehenden Begriffen in einem Feld anzuhängen und nicht die bestehende Werte zu ersetzen, z. B. mit der Tastenkombination Strg+Shift-Taste.4 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Right Click Capability to store files
We would like to enhance the windows integration by adding right click capabilities. Multiple files can be selected and when right clicked a Docuware sub-menu would be available with the storing dialogues the user connected has access to which would copy the files into Docuware.

Manuelles Autoindex im WebClient über 1. Datensatz
Im WebClient kann der manuelle Autoindex "Indexierung vervollständigen" bei der Ablage verwendet werden. Hier wird im Gegensatz zum Vollclient immer der aktuellste Datensatz (letzte Docid z.B. zum Kunden) hergenommen, im Vollclient der 1.Datensatz im Archiv z.B. zum Kunden.
Wenn man den allerersten Datensatz zu einem Kunden im Archiv ablegt vergibt man viele Werte zu diesem Kunden, welche bei weiteren Ablagen wieder mit manuelles Autoindex bzw. Indexierung vervollständigen verwendet werden können. Dies funktionierte alles im Vollclient, aber im Webclient nun leider nicht mehr.4 votes -
Automatisches Ablegen mit Archivwahl
In den früheren Versionen (Windows-Client) gab es die Möglichkeit, Dokumente aus einem beliebigen Briefkorb in ein vom User bestimmtes Archiv abzulegen.
Diese Funktion fehlt anscheinend im WebClient unter 6.6.Diese Funktion wäre praktisch, da man nicht für jedes Archiv einen eigenen Briefkorb definieren muss!

Expand the Keep Entries dialog to the field level so that users can store multiple documents of similar type
It looks like DocuWare 6.6 allows users to Keep Entries in the Windows Explorer store dialog in a way that the File Name field changes with each file. The web client does not function in the same way (i.e. if Keep Entries is checked, then all fields will be remain the same. Could you make Keep Entries more modular/precise by having a check box next to each field so that users could choose which entries they want to keep and which they'd like to input different values? I mostly think users would like to uncheck the File Name field and…

Indexdaten von Request ändern und in das Archiv zurücksynchronisieren
Der Kunde hat auf einem Notebook ein Archiv via Request erstellt. Da er auf dem Notebook keine Internetverbindung zu dem Docuware System hat, jedoch aber Informationen eines Dokuments benötigt bzw. die Indexdaten updatet, wäre es nicht schlecht wenn man die Einträge in einem Request ändern und danach mit dem jeweiligen Archiv synchronisieren kann. Die Synchronisation sollte über eine Zeitsteuerung erfolgen.
