1. Allow Editing of Local Data Connector Connection Details Through the UI

   According to KBA-35754, connection details cannot be edited and users must delete and recreate the connection.
   However, the Local Data Connector UI allows users to edit and save connection details. This creates confusion because the documented behavior does not match the actual UI.
   In a recent customer case, updating connection settings would have required reviewing nearly 100 workflows if the connection had to be recreated, resulting in significant administrative effort.
   Our testing showed that editing connection details directly in the LDC UI worked successfully without issues.
   We would like DocuWare to officially support editing connection details through the LDC UI and include this functionality within the supported product scope. This would reduce maintenance effort, especially in environments with many workflows, and align the documentation with the actual user experience.

2. Workflow Aktivität Webservice Tabellen posten

   Es sollte möglich sein in der Webservice Aktivität im Workflow auch Tabellen posten zu können. Dies ist notwendig, damit die volle Funktion genutzt werden kann. Ansonsten muss immer eine Middleware programmiert werden (eigentlich unverschämt, dass das aktuell der offizielle Vorschlag von DocuWare ist).

   Im Workflow Designer können unter der Webservice Aktivität bei Nutzung die Files bzw. Form values nicht angepasst werden. Der Body kann kaum beeinflusst werden. Dies sollte dringend verbessert werden, da sonst sehr viele Webservices gar nicht angesprochen werden können.

4. Suchen im Papierkorb

   Da man in einem Papierkorb nicht gezielt suchen kann mit einer Suchfunktion (nicht einmal per Volltext), ist es schwierig, Dokumente wiederzufinden, wenn bereits viele Dokumente im Papierkorb liegen. Das wäre mit einer Suchfunktion wie im Client sehr viel einfacher.

   Wenn Kunden nach einer Artikelnummer suchen und es werden viele Dokumente mit z.b. genau der Dateigröße angezeigt, ist das Volltext-Ergebnis kaum mehr sinnvoll nutzbar.
   Wenn ich Felder ausschließen kann - z.b. Dateigröße, DocID - dann würde das die Ergebnisqualität deutlich erhöhen.

6. Please add support for predefined entries in index editing screens of the List Dialog and Result Dialog

   Please make it possible to specify predefined entries for specific index fields when opening the index editing screen from the List Dialog. Please also make the same functionality available in the Result Dialog.

   Predefined entries can already be specified in the Store Dialog.
   We would appreciate it if the same capability could also be added to the index editing screens of both the List Dialog and the Result Dialog.

   In addition, when a field already contains a value, please provide an option to choose which should take priority: the existing value or the configured predefined entry. This would allow for more flexible configuration and improve usability.

7. Geklammerte Dokumente sortieren

   Es sollte möglich sein geklammerte Dokumente innerhalb der Klammerung neu zu sortieren. Warum ? Wir erstellen ein Formular um an dieses Formular alle zugehörigen Dokumente die sich im laufe des Auftrags ansammeln anzuklammern, da es sich um verschiedene Dokumente handelt die normalerweise nicht einzeln archiviert werden, wird das sehr schnell unübersichtlich. Es wäre also hilfreich gleichartige Dokumente wie Materiallisten oder Regieberichte sortieren zu können.

8. Allow hyperlinks in fields to be used in Related Document searches as well

   Currently hyperlinks are allowed to be clicked in result lists as of 7.12, but when using a related document search, those links are no longer clickable from there. It would be very useful to allow this feature across all forms of search and result lists

9. Update cloud URL of web service when efd file is imported

   When importing a workflow into another DocuWare Cloud environment, web service components still reference the original cloud URL.

   Currently, each web service within the workflow has to be reviewed and updated manually after import, which is time-consuming and error-prone.

   It would be very helpful if the cloud URL of web service components could be automatically updated (or mapped) during the workflow import process, or at least if there were an option to update them in bulk.

   This would significantly improve maintainability and reduce manual effort, especially for partners and customer success teams managing multiple environments.

11. die Anzeige von ZUGFeRD im Viewer zuerst die visualisierte e-Rechnung und dann erst das pdf angezeigt wird.

    Kunde bekommt Zugferd-Rechnungen und im Viewer ist zuerst das pdf und als nächstes Dokument die visualisierte e-Rechnung zu sehen.
    Hier kommt es bei diversen Lieferanten vor, das der angezeigte Inhalt vom pdf nicht mit den Daten der e-Rechnung übereinstimmt
    und man dies erst beim ‚durchblättern‘ oder wechseln auf das nächste anhängende Dokument erkennen kann.
    Da die e-Rechnung die steuerlich relevante Eingangsrechnung ist, kann das der Bearbeiter nicht sofort (also auf den „1. Blick“)erkennen, und hat ggf. bereits
    im Workflow die falsche Entscheidung getroffen (weitergeleitet – statt abgewiesen) hat.

12. Support JWE as a method to encrypt URLs

    Currently, Docuware supports a rather .NET specific method for encrypting URLs. We have an application that should retrieve documents from Docuware using URL integration. This application natively supports Java Web Encryption (JWE) to encrypt (parts of) a URL. This is not compatible with the way Docuware expects URLs to be encrypted. Since JWE is a standard (RFC 7516) that is widely used by many applications, I think supporting it could be of real benefit to customers. Ideally, the encryption method should be configurable on the Docuware server.

    We had to resort to implementing a URL redirector: this takes a JWE-encrypted URL and rewrites this using the Docuware encryption algorithm and then redirects the (application-internal) browser to the Docuware URL. This introduces an unwanted dependency on a third application that we would really want to eliminate.

    wir haben einen aktuellen Featurevorschlag: Anzeige der Dokumentengröße im Briefkorb, evtl. auch mit Hinweisflag. Hintergrund der Problematik ist das manche Lieferanten E-Rechnungen mit vielen Anhängen verschicken, die landen dann im Briefkorb und werden abgelegt. Durch die schirre Maße an Anhängen ist das Volumen der E-Rechnung zu hoch über 30 MB. Das führt später einfach zu Problemen, die einfache Lösung wäre die Anzeige der Dokumtengröße im Briefkorb, dadurch kann vor der Ablage schon das Dokument als solches erkannt werden und Rücksprache mit dem Lieferanten erfolgen. Was natürlich darüber hinaus ebenfalls wichtig wäre, ist das trennen der E-Rechnung und Anhänge, wobei dies nach der Norm nicht erlaubt ist.

14. Verarbeitung digital signierter E-Mail-Anhänge

    Bei digital signierten E-Mail-Anhängen (z. B. S/MIME) wird aktuell nur der Container archiviert. Das enthaltene Dokument (z. B. PDF-Rechnung) wird nicht automatisch extrahiert.
    DocuWare for Outlook und DocuWare Connect to Outlook sollten signierte Containerformate generell erkennen und die Anhänge extrahieren können.

16. Do not display prohibited operations in the right-click menu

    The index value profile settings are set so that any document cannot be downloaded.
    However, when you select a document in the web client and open the right-click menu, the "Download" menu appears.
    When you try to download it, an error message appears and the download does not work.
    I believe this is normal behavior, but it is confusing for users.
    For documents that cannot be downloaded using the index value profile settings, hide the "Download" option in the right-click menu.

17. datei umbenenen. Verzeichnis der angeklammerten Dokumente als Auflistung

    Da man zB in angeklammerten Dokumenten als Überschrift nur Dateiname hat, wäre gut, diese auch anpassen zu können, sodass es verständlich ist, was da angeklammert wurde, ohne das Dokument komplett zu lesen.

    Auch eine Übersicht der Dateinamen im Viewer alternativ zu Miniaturen wäre effizienter und eindeutiger. Wir können in Miniaturen die 10 Abrufe des Vertrages nicht unterscheiden sonst - allessieht gleich aus. Das ist mühselig.

    eider funktioniert die automatische Ablage von E-Rechnungen derzeit nur, wenn sich ausschließlich eine einzelne Datei als Anhang in der E-Mail befindet.

    In der Praxis ist dies jedoch kaum realistisch:
    Zu nahezu jeder Rechnung erhalten wir zusätzlich Frachtpapiere, Lieferscheine und weitere Dokumente, die gebündelt in einer E-Mail versendet werden. Andernfalls wäre der Überblick kaum zu gewährleisten.

    Hinzu kommt, dass aktuell viele Absender sowohl die E-Rechnung als auch ein zusätzliches PDF-Dokument in derselben E-Mail mitsenden, da noch nicht alle Empfänger E-Rechnungen vollständig verarbeiten können.

    Unter diesen Umständen ist die automatische Ablagefunktion für E-Rechnungen leider nur sehr eingeschränkt nutzbar und verliert einen großen Teil ihres Mehrwerts.

    Es wäre daher sehr wünschenswert, wenn DocuWare zukünftig auch E-Rechnungen zuverlässig erkennen und ablegen könnte, selbst wenn weitere Anhänge in der E-Mail enthalten sind.

    Dies würde die Funktion deutlich praxisnäher machen und die Arbeitsabläufe erheblich erleichtern.

19. Implement a switch in the installer that prevents the creation of the desktop icon

    After every installation or update of the DocuWare Desktop Apps, a desktop shortcut is automatically created. Currently, there is no option to control whether this shortcut should be created or not.

    In many environments, this shortcut is not needed at all. In our case, it causes confusion for end users, who often assume that the desktop icon is a direct access to the organization’s DocuWare cloud portal. As a result, users expect web access and become unsure when the application behavior does not match that expectation, generating unnecessary support tickets.

    In most scenarios, access to DocuWare is done via the web portal, and only a limited set of users require Desktop Apps such as the Designer or Administration tools. For the majority of users, the desktop shortcut provides no value and instead introduces ambiguity.

    It would be highly beneficial to have an installer switch or configuration option that allows administrators to:

    Prevent the creation of the desktop shortcut during installation

    Ensure the shortcut is not recreated during future updates

    This would greatly improve user experience, reduce confusion, and give IT administrators better control in managed and enterprise environments.

20. URL Integration to open DocuWare Viewer with index dialog

    The client needs a URL integration that opens the document in the DocuWare Viewer and also displays its metadata (Index dialog) in a new window. This functionality exists today, but it is configured per user in their preferences rather than as a setting within the viewer itself.
