Ein DW-Testsystem auf Knopfdruck erzeugen/synchronisieren
Ich würde es mir wünschen, dass man ein DW-Testsystem mit wenigen Handgriffen so erzeugen kann, dass ich gemachte Konfigurationen (Deltas) sowohl vom Testsystem ins Live-System oder auch umgekehr migrieren kann. Optional mit dem identischen/geklontem/partiell geklontem Filestore.
Derzeit habe ich kein FAQ oder Tool gefunden mithilfe man einen geklonten DW-Server auf die dafür geklonten Test-Datenbanken umbiegen kann. (denn ein VM-Clone mit selber IP kann ich i.d.R. nicht durch die Anwender testen lassen, weil es Netzwerk-mäßig getrennt sein muss)
Wenn ich im selben Netzwerk arbeiten muss, können derzeit ganz schnell Inkonsistenzen entstehen, wenn man nicht alles ganz genau bedacht hat, was wo…

Offline Verfügbarkeit von Dokumenten inklusive Bearbeitung
bestimmte Dokumente sollten in dem Mobile Client auch offline Verfügbar sein und bearbeitet werden können. Sobald wieder eine Verbindung besteht oder manuell sollten diese dann wieder zurück ins Archiv geladen werden können. So könnten ganze Akten mit zum Kunden genommen werden oder Lieferscheine unterzeichnet werden oder ...

DocuWare Printer: Mehrere DocuWare Printer pro Client
Aufgrund verschiedener Druckerkonfigurationen sollte es möglich sein, mehrere DocuWare Printer pro Client installieren und konfigurieren zu können.
Szenario:
Aus der Branchensoftware X sollen alle Belege an einen physischen Drucker gesendet und gleichzeitig in den DocuWare Briefkorb abgelegt werden. Hierzu sollte aber nicht für jede Dokumentart eine Konfiguration erstellt werden müssen (wie es momentan der Fall ist), da der physische Drucker direkt hinter dem DocuWare Printer hinterlegt werden kann.

Ability for token based authentication when using the API
It would be able to use token based authentication such as Oauth2 to connect to the APIs rather than needing to rely on user name and passwords.

Im Workflowmanager SQL Zusatzfunktionen ermöglichen im Abfrageeditor
Derzeit ist im Abfrageeditor nur möglich im "Select-Teil" des Statements eine Quell Tabelle und ein Quellfeld auszuwählen.
Ganz frei kann lediglich der Teil nach dem "WHERE" geschrieben werden.
Wenn es aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht möglich sein sollte, dass komplette Statement frei eintragen zu dürfen, so wäre es sehr nützlich in dem Abfrageeditor typische SQL Funktionen zu ermöglichen.
z.b. count(), max(), last(), unique() etc.
Diese könnten dann ja ebenfalls per Dropdown ausgewählt werden und dem "Select-Feld" zugeordnet werden können.
Dann wäre es endlich möglich im Workflow z.B. eine solche Abfrage zu machen:
SELECT count(rechnungsnummer) AS anzahl_rechnungen FROM rechnungen
oder:
SELECT max(betrag) AS…

Give more print setting functionality to DocuWare Printer
DocuWare Printer prints in color by default. Many occasions a black print would be much better and also less costly in file size. Give us an option to control the color options in the default printer settings. We are having quality issues with DocuWare Printer compared to the old TiffMaker. We are also running into file size issues because documents are printing in color and they are too large to email if we want to distribute outside of DocuWare.

Field setting changes on all result views
If we have 15 result views and if we need to change the select list of an specific field, we need to manually change each single result view. We suggest to have a method to adjust all the fields at the same time. The tool might show a pop up to select the result views we want to change.

I suggest that you add an option to have live hyperlinks.
I am wondering if it was possible to be able to click on a hyperlink which gets stored as one of the index fields. We would like some of our users to be able to click either on the result list or the DocuWare viewer and whatever the link has is where the users will be re-directed to.
Can that be done? We tried saving a couple of links on the result list and even on the document but the links are not clickable.

Split filename during import
A very handy feature to have would be able to split a filename into different index fields during import.
This feature already exists when reading content off a page as the "Cut out text" feature so I suggest adding when selecting the filename. I've run across import projects where there's a very structured file name (i.e. index1index2index3.PDF) and have the ability to split the filename into index fields would be very useful.

Professional Query with Platform Services
The platform services should support searching a file cabinet with a query string (in GAPI called ProfessinalQuery), so that queries in the form
([STATUS]=EMPTY() AND [DOKTYP]="INVOICE")
OR
([STATUS]="VALID" AND [DOKTYP]="INVOICE-SIGNED")are possible.

DW Cloud - Local Data Connector - 1000 Line Limit is BAD THING
It's common to reference a Local Data Connector data source and have the Autoindex routine be set to create a data record if there is no matching record. Especially common in verifying a migration to find items that got missed. It's invariable that some docs won't come over, and this is a great way to find them. It's common for these to sometimes be a ton of records(often > 1,000,000). In 7.3 the system will only use 1,000 records from the remote data at a time, even if the query limit in the LDC config file is set to 10,000…

Fehler-Wege im Workflow Designer ausblenden
Bei komplexen Workflows mit mehreren Bedingungen und Zuweisungen leidet die Übersichtlichkeit sobald man alle Fehlerwege mit einer Fehlersammlung verbindet.
Vor lauter roten Strichen sieht man das Wesentliche nicht mehr und gerade wenn man den Workflow selber nicht erstellt hat verliert man sich total darin.
Eine Möglichkeit die Fehlerwege auszublenden, wie bei den Zeitüberschreitungen, würde sehr viel bringen.

Allow Windows Authentication on DocuWare Mobile
Systems with a lot of users will most likely use LDAP or AD synchronization to pull the users.
I suggest that you allow users to authenticate using Windows Authentication on the Mobile app. It would be very helpful when rolling this out to a lot of users. Users can do that already when logging in from a Web browser.

Praktisch wäre, in die Spaltenköpfe Textfelder einzubauen, in die Filterkriterien eingegeben werden können. Anbei ein Beispiel aus der Sage Office Line.

Benutzersynchronisation per LDAP vollständige Einträge pro Benutzer übernehmen (Z.B. Passwörter)
Bei uns im Hause gibt es immer wieder Diskussionen über die Benutzerverwaltung innerhalbs DocuWare. Was alle bemängeln, dass nicht die Möglichkeit besteht, über LDAP so etwas wie Passwörter, Emailadresse etc. mit zu nehmen. Die Synchronisation ist nur dann wirklich sinnvoll. Ansonsten ist die Funktion nicht wirklich sinnvoll, wenn ich alles nachpflegen muss.

Dialoge und Briefkörbe verfügbar machen, ohne das User diese sieht (zentrale Ansicht über Adminrechte steuern)
Es wäre extrem hilfreich, wenn man (Admin) die zentrale Möglichkeit hat, einen Ablagedialog oder auch Briefkorb für die User "unsichtbar" zu machen, ohne das Recht der Nutzung zu nehmen.
Hierzu zwei praktische Szenarien:
Modul DocuWare Forms: der Kunde benötigt ein Formular um Stammdaten in einem Archiv anzulegen, zu ändern. Hierzu bedingt es dann der Freigabe eines Ablagedialog, welchen er dann auch im Webclient sieht, was aber nicht gewollt bzw. notwendig ist. Mit einem Public Forms lässt sich das aber nicht lösen, da man dann nicht weiß. wer das Forms abgeschickt hat und es somit auch für jeden, der den Link…

Einfachen Abgleich von zwei Dokumeten ermöglichen
Es sollte möglich sein einfach und komfortabel im DocuWare Workflow zwei Dokumente miteinander zu vergleichen.
Beispielsweise bei der Rechnungseingangsprüfung die entsprechenden Lieferanten-Dokumente (Auftragsbestätigung, Lieferschein, etc.)
Aktuell ist es so, dass in einer Workflow Aufgabe die relevanten Dokumente unter „Verknüpft“ für den Benutzer ersichtlich sind.
Klickt der Benutzer auf diese Dokumentenverknüpfung, öffnet sich eine Ergebnisliste. Wählt der Benutzer jetzt ein Dokument aus und öffnet dieses in „einem neuen Viewer Fenster“ und geht dann zurück auf den Tab vom Workflow, sieht der Benutzer im Workflow Tab nur einen weißen Viewer.
Wünschenswert wäre, dass der DocuWare Workflow den Fokus auf das Dokument behält,…

all fields capitalized
Please bring back the ability to force all fields being capitalized!
This kind of practice of removing features that users have grown to depend on, almost caused a revolt in one of tech sessions at DocuWorld.
Here's an example of what happens when changes aren't thought through completely and/or actual users aren't consulted first:
The select list consists of Townships with only the first letter capitalized. Since upgrading to 6.12 this week, the user must type exactly in the case format of the select list, or they can't store doc.
For instance, typing 'elkhart' brings up 'Elkhart' in the select…
